50: Want to be a lobby manager? You need to be able to read people's expressions.

"Quick, quick, get them out of here." Team Leader Zhang waved his hand, and several security guards lifted Liu Jin and Manager Gu and took them away.

Only Yang Dafu remained standing there, bent at the waist, secretly alarmed.

Everyone else was watching the show, but he was pondering what Wang Chao had just said.

Nephew?

The police officer next to him was his nephew.

Yang Dafu's mind began to race, and suddenly, he thought of something.

Mr. Wang was the old Mr. Wang's child born late in life; he had an older sister who was much older than him.

And according to people from the head office, Mr. Wang and his sister didn't get along well due to their significant age difference, but he had a very close relationship with his older nephew, who was a few years younger than him.

It seemed this was the child of Mr. Wang's sister, the older nephew with whom Mr. Wang had a very close relationship.

Understanding this connection, Yang Dafu felt a little more at ease.

"Mr. Wang, I've prepared a room upstairs. Shall I take you up?" Yang Dafu asked cautiously.

"Hmph, Yang Dafu, do you think you're off the hook?" Wang Chao sneered, "I think you don't need to be this general manager anymore. Look at the state you've let things get into."

From today's perspective, this Yang Dafu had significant management issues; it was definitely not just Liu Jin's problem.

Hearing Wang Chao's icy voice, the sweat that Yang Dafu had just wiped away immediately reappeared. The big boss was truly angry.

He wiped his brow. This was the most tense moment of his life; one wrong answer could cost him his general manager position.

Suddenly, he remembered something Wang Chao had said earlier: "It doesn't matter if you offend me, but if you offend my older nephew, then you're finished. I can't protect you either."

Older nephew, the key was this older nephew.

At this moment, Jiang Waner was looking at Ye Lin in a daze, somewhat understanding but not quite grasping what had happened.

Yang Dafu's mind seemed to clear. He turned his head, faced Jiang Waner, and said, "Young lady, I see you're doing good work. From now on, you'll be the lobby manager. Are you willing?"

"Ah? Me?" Jiang Waner hadn't even fully understood the previous events, and now she was suddenly being offered the lobby manager position?

As it involved Jiang Waner, Wang Chao didn't want to show his stance and looked at Ye Lin.

Ye Lin pondered for a moment, "How much does a lobby manager earn a month?"

"A lobby manager earns twelve thousand," Yang Dafu said.

Twelve thousand? Ye Lin frowned.

Seeing Ye Lin frown, Yang Dafu's heart tightened. He had quoted too low, so he quickly corrected himself: "Twenty thousand. If Miss Jiang is willing, it's twenty thousand a month."

"Alright, you keep an eye on her from now on. If there's any more trouble, you can pack your bags and leave," Ye Lin said indifferently.

"Yes, yes, I understand."

"Manager Jiang, I'll take you to complete your onboarding shortly." Yang Dafu now looked at Jiang Waner with fawning respect.

He had made the right gamble, and Yang Dafu's heart settled down.

Wang Chao gave Ye Lin a speechless look and whispered, "Older nephew, it's all your own money. Do you need to ask thisFat Man how much salary you want to offer?"

"She's still young and shouldn't offend people. ThisFat Man is quite observant and can look after her later," Ye Lin explained.

"I think you're just interested in her. With your looks and wealth, Older Nephew, if you just crook your finger, she'd immediately come running."

"Interested in your sister!"

"I don't have a sister. Why don't you ask your grandma to have another one?"

"Alright, I'll go back and tell my grandma that your son wants her to have another one. Let's see what she says."

"Don't..."

The conversation between the two ended with Wang Chao's surrender.

Yang Dafu stood by, secretly relieved. He had indeed made the right choice; this older nephew was truly like a brother to Mr. Wang.

"Twenty thousand a month is enough for you and your brother to live on. When Xiaosheng's leg gets better, let him come to work too," Ye Lin instructed Jiang Waner.

"In about a month, have Jiang Xiaosheng onboarded. Make sure it's done," Ye Lin turned and said to Yang Dafu.

"Understood, understood, I will definitely handle it well," Yang Dafu said, bowing and nodding.

Since he didn't need to spend his own resources and it was Mr. Wang's money, what was a manager like him afraid of? He wouldn't be scared even if they sent 10 more people.

Moreover, Jiang Waner knew the big boss's nephew, so she could put in a good word for him if anything came up later.

"Brother Ye, I..." Suddenly going from a cleaning lady to a lobby manager, Jiang Waner was still a bit incredulous.

Ye Lin smiled slightly, "Don't be afraid. I believe in you. If you don't understand anything, ask thisFat Man. If you encounter any difficulties you can't solve, just come find me."

Yang Dafu chuckled and leaned in, "That's right, Manager Jiang, if there's anything you don't understand, just ask me, thisFat Man."

"Ah, no, General Manager Yang..." Jiang Waner was a bit flustered.

Ye Lin comforted her for a few sentences, "I still have things to do. You just focus on your work for now."

After speaking, he followed Yang Dafu into the elevator.

However, what Ye Lin didn't notice was that in the crowd, someone had been observing him and Jiang Waner. Only after he left did this person smile faintly and depart from Yuehao.

In the presidential suite on the top floor, Yang Dafu had already arranged a table full of food.

Ye Lin didn't stand on ceremony and sat directly in the main seat to eat.

Wang Chao was speechless for a moment, "Don't you have any respect for seniority? I'm your uncle; I should be in the main seat."

"Hurry up and eat. After dinner, I'll brief you guys, and then I still have to go handle a case," Ye Lin said, stuffing a piece of lobster meat into his mouth.

"Damn, you're just a reincarnated starving ghost."

Wang Chao motioned for the several programmers to sit down together. Everyone ate in silence, focused on their food.

Yang Dafu had initially thought he could sit down with them, but seeing that Wang Chao had no such intention, he gave two awkward laughs and left.

As a subordinate, one must be observant. Ability might be lacking, but observation skills must be sharp.

As soon as he came out, he rushed downstairs to take Jiang Waner to process her manager onboarding.

In the presidential suite, Ye Lin quickly finished his meal and casually asked, "Are these people reliable?"

"Don't worry, they've all signed confidentiality agreements, very reliable."

Ye Lin nodded and casually threw a piece of paper to Wang Chao, "This is 'Plants vs. Zombies.' I've drawn the map, the types and functions of plants and zombies on it. You just need to develop it according to these settings."

Wang Chao took the paper with a look of disdain, "I'm not criticizing you, but couldn't you make it a bit more formal instead of putting it on one piece of paper?"

"I'm just drawing a diagram. Why make it so formal?" Ye Lin didn't care in the slightest.

Wang Chao rolled his eyes at him, then gathered the programmers to start researching.

"Mr. Wang, the game itself isn't difficult to develop. If it's according to Young Master Ye's design, it would take a month at most to design it. The rest would be adding some maps to increase replayability," the programmers concluded after some study.
