190: Flying wine bottle

The first two shots barely managed to go in Ye Lin's direction, hitting the wall behind him.

The last shot, however, went wildly off target, hitting the room's window and piercing straight through it.

With a loud bang, the bullet coincidentally struck the glass on the 31st floor.

Immediately, a large hole appeared in the glass, and the bullet, with a sharp whistle, cut through the quiet night sky.

A large sheet of glass shards fell directly from the 31st floor, crashing onto the ground.

Downstairs at Weiye Building, Yu Haifeng had just arrived with his team and met up with Wang Longxin, and before they could even figure out the situation, they heard that 'bang' followed by the falling glass shards from above.

"Damn it! It's a gun!"

"Ye Lin is in danger, hurry up there!"

Yu Haifeng shouted, no longer caring about alerting the enemy, and led his team directly to the underground parking garage; they didn't have Ye Lin's wall-climbing skills, so they could only take the elevator.

In the underground parking garage, several bodyguards were still solemnly guarding the elevator when they saw a group of people in plain clothes enter.

They instantly stood up and shouted, "What do you want?"

Yu Haifeng decisively pulled out his pistol and fired a warning shot at the ceiling, "Police! Get down!"

These usually fierce individuals were instantly dumbfounded, raising their hands in a flash; with seven or eight pistols pointed at them, any resistance would instantly turn them into a sieve.

Yu Haifeng grabbed one, snatched the elevator card, left two people to guard the bodyguards, and led his team directly up the elevator.

Upstairs, Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor was also startled by his own marksmanship; he had Feng Shikun get him this gun, and although the model was a bit old, it was still very effective, but he hadn't practiced much and didn't realize the recoil was so strong.

After three shots, Ye Lin quickly hid behind a table, not showing his head.

"Go up, kill him, what are you waiting for? Do you think you'll be fine today?" Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor shouted loudly at the bodyguards.

The bodyguards exchanged glances; at this moment, Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor still had the upper hand, and he had a gun in his hand. Who knew if he would go crazy and shoot them? So the bodyguards were forced, and together they surrounded the place where Ye Lin was hiding, though their momentum was much weaker than before.

Ye Lin was panting heavily behind the table, "Damn it, those who shoot inaccurately are indeed more dangerous than those who shoot accurately."

Seeing the bodyguards about to surround him, and with Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor also approaching step by step with his pistol, he couldn't wait any longer.

If he waited any longer, once Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor got closer, even an idiot could hit him.

Ye Lin took a deep breath, picked up a chair next to him, and with a spin, threw it directly at Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor.

Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor, after all, was not trained; he didn't seize the good opportunity to fire a few shots when Ye Lin threw the chair, merely instinctively dodging to the side, avoiding the chair.

Ye Lin suddenly rushed out from behind the table, heading straight for Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor; to catch the bandit, first catch the king, and killing also has its limits.

However, although the plan was good, there were more changes; the bodyguards nearby saw Ye Lin rush out and immediately blocked his path.

"Get out of the way!"

Ye Lin roared, and his fist, as big as a sandbag, shot forward, hitting the bodyguard's chest. The man was forced back two steps but managed to stand his ground.

Just as the others were about to attack, they heard a 'bang' of a gunshot.

Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor had fired again.

Instantly, everyone stopped their movements, checking themselves to see if they had been hit, as they had just witnessed their leader's marksmanship.

Ye Lin was also startled, dropping to a prone position, patting himself up and down with his hands.

"Hmm, good, I wasn't hit."

However, the bodyguard who had been standing in front of Ye Lin, blocking him, swayed and directly fell to the ground, with a large bloody hole in the back of his head.

Now, these bodyguards were so scared that they retreated repeatedly; in this day and age, they weren't afraid of a god-like opponent, but a pig-like teammate.

With this marksmanship, it was better to stay far away, lest they die unjustly.

Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor also didn't expect to shoot his own man; he stomped his foot in annoyance, raised his gun, and aimed at Ye Lin again.

Now Ye Lin was only two meters away from him, with no cover, and he refused to believe he couldn't hit him.

With the dark muzzle pointing at him, Ye Lin felt his hair stand on end, a sense of deadly danger.

A cruel smile appeared on Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor's face, and he was about to pull the trigger, aiming at Ye Lin.

Suddenly, with a whoosh, something flew through the air and accurately hit Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor in the face, exploding directly.

"Ah--"

The intense pain made Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor scream madly; countless glass shards were embedded in his face, and alcohol mixed with blood bloomed on his face.

The strong stimulation of the high-proof liquor on the wound made Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor feel as if his face was being burned.

Ye Lin turned his head and saw Meng Qiu by the liquor cabinet, smiling weakly at him; it was she who had, on a whim, thrown a bottle of wine just now.

And it was surprisingly accurate, though he wondered how expensive that wine was, feeling a bit wasted by hitting Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor's face.

Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor endured the pain on his face and wiped it, trying to see where Ye Lin was.

But Ye Lin wouldn't give him another chance; he took a running start, shouted loudly, leaped high into the air, and violently kicked Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor in the chest with both legs.

The forward momentum combined with the explosive power of his legs instantly sent Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor flying into the air, his entire body crashing like a cannonball against the wall behind the headboard.

On the wall, the photos of him with his victims all fell down, landing on him.

After delivering that kick, Ye Lin was completely out of strength, lying motionless on the ground, a victorious smile on his face.

Bang!

The door was forced open for the third time.

"Don't move! Police!"

Yu Haifeng rushed in with his team, five pistols pointed at the bodyguards. The bodyguards, who had long given up fighting, quickly raised their hands and obediently squatted on the ground; they were familiar with this procedure.

"Lin Zi, how are you?"

Yu Haifeng looked at the black-clad bodyguards lying all over the floor, and at Ye Lin lying motionless on the ground, and grew anxious, rushing over in a panic, wanting to help Ye Lin up.

"Don't... don't touch me, it hurts." Ye Lin hissed, sucking in a cold breath. Oh my, Team Leader Yu had just grabbed his wound.

"Oh, okay, okay. You lie down."

"Xiao Sun, call an ambulance, an ambulance!" Yu Haifeng shouted.

Ye Lin managed a weak smile and pointed to the head of the bed, "Wan Zhihao, Deputy Mayor is over there, he can't escape."

Yu Haifeng looked where Ye Lin pointed: a man with a large belly was unconscious on the ground, holding a pistol in his hand.

"Handcuff him, call for backup!" Yu Haifeng decisively ordered.

It was already eleven at night when Gao Dawen received the news, "What? Deputy Mayor Wan arrested?"
