119: Practice like crazy and go to play the game

The hard requirements for Cultivating Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer are quite high.

It involves 70 points in true strength, 40 points in true agility, and the ability to project True Qi externally.

For other first-year or second-year students, these conditions would be extremely demanding.

But for Shen Bei, it was no problem at all.

It was practically tailor-made.

Shen Bei's last test showed his strength at 90 points and agility at 44 points.

These were all true attributes!

Without any false components.

As for True Qi, it came from King Kong Indestructible.

He had even mastered external True Qi projection skillfully.

During his fight with Yu Qiuyi, a coin used in the "Shooting Star Sweeping Tail" Move, which broke her Move, was a result of True Qi projection.

With no further worries, Shen Bei continued to flip through the Martial Skill books.

He studied them carefully.

Shen Bei made a concise summary: "This is a Martial Skill primarily focused on attack and heavily reliant on True Qi!"

This Martial Skill is divided into two stages.

The first stage of the fist art focuses on softening, with more softness than hardness, circular defense, primarily utilizing the four main forces of "peng, lu, ji, an," and secondarily the four corner forces of "cai, lie, zhou, kao."

The movements are smooth, with the body as the center, and hands and feet moving in circles, using softness to meet and neutralize hardness.

Its characteristics include high and low undulations, with upper and lower body moving as one.

Force is primarily applied through silk-reeling inner strength, with explosive force as secondary, leading the hand with the body, and appearing slow, soft, and stable externally.

The routine is seventy percent softening and thirty percent explosive force.

"Using softness to neutralize hardness, with both hard and soft advancing... it's a bit like the philosophy of Tai Chi."

Shen Bei muttered to himself.

The second stage of the fist art is the core of this Martial Skill: primarily attack, heavily focused on Cultivation.

It mainly uses the four corner forces of "cai, lie, zhou, kao" for power.

The four main forces of "peng, lu, ji, an" are used secondarily for softening.

It frequently employs dodging and sudden strikes, characterized by speed, compactness, ferocity, more hardness than softness, quickness, rigidity, and leaping.

During movement, the waist and spine continuously rotate, wrists and shoulders rotate, ankles and knees rotate, with every joint connected yet separable, leading the body with the hand, often using stomping to generate force, attacking as defense, turning and moving fluidly, still as a mountain, dynamic as a river, shaped like a hawk hunting a rabbit, spirited like a cat catching a mouse.

"Attack is the best defense!"

Shen Bei took a deep breath and began to Cultivate from the first stage of the fist art.

To speed up his Cultivation, Shen Bei also specifically requested a dummy from the students.

At school, dummies were divided into three types.

One type was a soft-packed dummy, similar to a sandbag.

It greatly protected students from injury.

Another type was a wooden dummy, which students usually chose.

After all, hitting a soft-packed dummy didn't feel satisfying; it was too soft.

And it was embarrassing too.

Everyone was a Martial Artist, not a child practicing Taekwondo.

The other type was a steel dummy.

Hitting this kind of dummy was more painful.

But what Shen Bei wanted was a steel dummy.

It could take a beating!

At this moment.

In the spacious basement, Shen Bei gently reached out his hand, feeling as if with just a thought, the surging True Qi within his body would burst forth.

Several steel dummies were placed in front of him.

He took a stance.

His fist was like an electric drill.

"Second stage, Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer!"

Shen Bei erupted with an extremely cruel killing intent, as if completely freezing the air.

The next moment, Shen Bei spread his five fingers, his palm aimed at the steel dummy.

Boom!

A deafening roar, like a bolt from the clear sky, exploded, and a thick True Qi burst forth from Shen Bei's hand, enveloping his fist.

In less than a tenth of a second, Shen Bei punched like lightning.

Shen Bei was stunned to find that his fist clearly had not touched the steel man.

It was even twenty centimeters away.

But the steel dummy in front of him exploded with a crash, as if it had been directly hit by a large-caliber cannon.

The surface of the tempered steel dummy suddenly showed hundreds of tiny cracks, then completely collapsed and disintegrated like tofu, turning into a pile of steel fragments on the ground.

Shen Bei looked at the scattered debris, a strong look of joy appearing in his eyes:

"Hiss!!!"

"Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer can even increase attack range?"

Shen Bei couldn't help but be greatly surprised.

It was an enhanced version of 'hitting the ox through the mountain'.

"If my True Qi were even more abundant, could I hit a target from one meter, three meters, five meters, or even ten meters away?"

Shen Bei thought about it and felt a chill!

One must know, this was not a ranged attack.

It was a close-combat Martial Skill.

But it still increased the attack range!

If it were a ranged attack, there would definitely be a starting stance, using True Qi to shoot something out.

This flight process would inevitably generate airflow fluctuations and sonic booms.

At the same time, its power would also decay during flight.

Yet this Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer actually transformed True Qi into attack range.

It was like attacking with a transparent iron rod.

And the power would not decay!

"Too fierce!"

Shen Bei did not stop.

He unleashed the second stage of the fist art, Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer, three times in a row.

He shattered all the steel dummies in front of him!

At this point, Shen Bei had reached the limit his body could endure.

He was drenched in sweat and panting uncontrollably.

"It seems True Qi has a limit; once it's drained, physical strength severely decreases, making it impossible to perform the Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer Move."

Shen Bei rested for most of the day.

He decided to Cultivate all seventy-two remaining Moves of King Kong Indestructible.

"Not only can it increase True Qi reserves, but it can also better utilize the attack range and frequency of Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer."

"It will also complete a Martial Skill."

For Shen Bei, there were a total of seven Moves in Seven Stars Fist.

Currently, he had only barely completed three Moves: "Seven Stars Steps," "Kui Xing Kicks the Dipper," and "Shooting Star Sweeping Tail."

The other four Moves still needed to be explored.

In fact, it wasn't that Shen Bei didn't want to Cultivate them all; it was just that the difficulty was doubling.

The fourth Move, "Myriad Stars Dance Fist," required an agility attribute as high as 50, and it had to be a true attribute.

Shen Bei's current state simply did not meet the standard.

This gave Shen Bei a feeling of being in debt, making him uncomfortable all over.

And King Kong Indestructible also needed to be Cultivated to completion.

His obsessive-compulsive tendency compelled Shen Bei to complete this Cultivation.

Shen Bei concentrated his mind, and the twenty-seven secret diagrams of the first layer of King Kong Indestructible's 'Iron Body Refinement' flashed through his mind like a fleeting glimpse.

Once his mind was completely calm, Shen Bei immediately assumed the starting posture and began his Cultivation of King Kong Indestructible step by step.

With the previous complete Cultivation, each secret movement was undoubtedly much smoother for Shen Bei this time, which was directly reflected in the time required to complete the twenty-seven postures.

Compared to the previous physical tempering that took nearly 4 hours and almost completely exhausted his stamina, this time Shen Bei completed the twenty-seven secret movements in three and a half hours.

During this process, the True Qi in Shen Bei's body was forged as if by an invisible iron hammer, seeping little by little into his tendons, bones, and flesh, subtly strengthening various parts of his body.

When the twenty-seventh stance was completed, Shen Bei's muscles swelled, heat steamed off him, and he stood precariously, panting heavily, feeling even more clearly that his muscles had become one or two tenths tougher, and his body seemed to retain a fraction of reserve strength.

The time spent waiting for his physical strength to recover was also utilized by Shen Bei; he returned to the steel dummy without stopping, assumed the Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer attack stance, and continued to train his control over the True Qi within his body.

Boom boom boom ~ ~

The True Qi that had just recovered was once again completely depleted by Shen Bei.

Shen Bei discovered that this time, the attack range had increased again.

Now, he could shatter the dummy from thirty centimeters away without touching it.

In this way, Shen Bei was like a tireless robot; when his physical strength was completely exhausted from Cultivating King Kong Indestructible, he immediately sat cross-legged in meditation, nurturing True Qi, rapidly recovering his physical strength, and then, after recovering his physical strength, he resumed Cultivating the Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer.

Following the Cultivation of the Iron Body Refinement, from morning to night, this cycle continued.

Even without eating or drinking, with no one to talk to, and no internet, Shen Bei didn't feel bored or monotonous in the slightest.

A terrifying, almost demonic, determination and focus were being displayed on him.

...

A few days later.

After continuously switching between the two Cultivation Techniques, Shen Bei completed the remaining seventy-two Moves of King Kong Indestructible.

At this time, if one looked closely, they would notice that Shen Bei's physique now seemed subtly larger than a few days ago; his previously somewhat thin chest and arms had begun to swell, and even his height seemed to have suddenly shot up by two or three centimeters, already exceeding 1.8 meters!

Unbeknownst to him, this made Shen Bei's Cultivation of the Iron Body Refinement twice as effective, with muscles growing and bones lengthening, causing his body to undergo changes akin to a second growth spurt in a short period of time!

The changes were not limited to this; now, within Shen Bei's body, ultimate True Qi was almost entirely distributed throughout, flowing like a rushing river, and compared to three days prior, it had once again seen a massive increase of several times over!

At this moment, Shen Bei, in a meditative state, slowly suppressed the surging Qi and blood from the Cultivation process.

After Cultivating, a Martial Artist's Qi and blood are still in a state of high-speed circulation, requiring meditation to relax and calm the agitated internal organs.

To put it plainly, so-called meditation is just emptying the mind and imagining oneself as an idiot.

At this moment, Shen Bei could clearly feel his body becoming increasingly light and clear, as if he had broken free from a muddy swamp.

He heard with absolute clarity the sound of blood flowing in his body, the strong sound of his heart beating like a war drum, and the surging sound of True Qi rushing like a torrent...

A moment later.

Shen Bei took a deep breath and stood up.

He clenched his fists tightly.

"Now, I have mastered three Moves of Seven Stars Fist, Pine Crane Longevity Fist, Flying Spirit Soft Bone Palm, Dragon-Form Flying Tiger Steps, the upper and lower stages of Martial Skill: Heart-Piercing Cannon Hammer, and the King Kong Indestructible Body Refinement Martial Skill."

"And a solid amount of True Qi."

Shen Bei took a deep breath: "I wonder what place I can achieve in the National Exchange Competition."

Shen Bei believed that the Prodigies and Geniuses across the nation were like carps crossing a river.

The saying 'there are always people better than you' is not said in vain.

Anyone who is arrogant and conceited has already lost half the battle.

Therefore, Shen Bei maintained a respectful heart.

"It's time to participate in the National Exchange Competition."

Shen Bei walked with Dragon-like steps and Tiger-like strides out of the basement, packed his bags.

Departure!
