49: The sphincter is a truly amazing organ.

Facing Fang Ming's desperate counterattack, Luo Chengyuan hooked his lips, a playful expression on his face. With a loud bang, he took a large stride forward, and the already compressed and sunken ground once again bore a deep footprint. A circle of shattered rocks on the cracked ground was flung up and away by the powerful rebound force, creating another burst of dust.

"Your madness, in my eyes, is nothing but a joke!"

Luo Chengyuan's arm suddenly swelled, his muscles bulging and intertwining, becoming much thicker. One could faintly see the color of blood continuously flowing.

He lightly raised his hand to parry Fang Ming's punch!

Boom~~~

A visible, turbulent airflow surged from the point where Luo Chengyuan and Fang Ming clashed, like a Category 12 typhoon. The surrounding leaves and branches were all scattered.

Even the air, rubbed at high speed, emitted a piercing sonic boom and a burnt smell. Large chunks of shattered rock at their location flew into the air, and a curtain of rock fragments rose on both sides of their trajectory. The roaring, surging wind suddenly swept in all directions.

"Damn it!"

Fang Ming roared in pain.

He was at an absolute disadvantage in terms of attributes, and despite attacking first, he was sent flying by Luo Chengyuan's punch.

Fang Ming, like a broken rag doll, flew directly backward.

As Fang Ming rolled, blood gushed out, and he stumbled to his feet.

His face was covered in blood, like winding snakes, crawling across his features, displaying an extremely terrifying expression. His eye sockets seemed almost to split open as he let out a hoarse, desperate roar, like a dying beast:

"Again!"

"Hehe," Luo Chengyuan walked leisurely, step by step, towards Fang Ming. "Why are you so stubborn? Just hand over what I want, and your life will be spared."

"As a member of the Headhunter Tribe, life is the cheapest thing!"

Then, Fang Ming erupted again, carrying a terrifying killing intent that descended with fierce fist winds. This killing intent was so dense it was almost tangible.

Fang Ming's Aura was like a raging flame burning in an icy ocean current, or a dying beast in a desperate situation—painful and cold, silent and fierce, crazy and tenacious!

Even Shen Bei, observing from a distance, could feel the resolute Aura of a fight to the death, a willingness to perish together.

And Luo Chengyuan's combat prowess was clearly much stronger than Fang Ming's.

When the two engaged in close combat again, Luo Chengyuan easily defused Fang Ming's moves once more.

At the same time, Luo Chengyuan's shoulders, elbows, fists, palms, fingers, legs, knees, feet, and even his hard head, instantly transformed into ruthless, deadly weapons!

Point, claw, ram, strike, hammer, blast, twist, buckle, lock—a series of rapid-fire attacks like a machine gun spraying bullets!

Crackling sounds echoed!

Innumerable, superimposed shockwaves of force relentlessly blasted into various parts of Fang Ming's body. Before he could even react, he was already spitting blood and retreating continuously!

After that, Luo Chengyuan relentlessly bombarded him with close-range consecutive strikes, making him move uncontrollably like a puppet on strings!

In just a moment, Fang Ming was no longer able to counterattack.

Luo Chengyuan's hands transformed into vicious claws, carrying a nearly shrill whistle of wind, manifesting countless afterimages. At Fang Ming's limb joints—all 126 bones in the human limbs, from large arm and leg bones to small finger and toe joints—he fiercely squeezed and twisted each one!

With a series of crisp, popping sounds like firecrackers, all of Fang Ming's joints strangely twisted and dislocated. Abnormal bulges appeared on the skin where the bones met, and his entire body, like a puddle of mud, once again knelt on the ground.

All his joints were dislocated; there was not a single intact spot.

His jagged bones pushed against his skin, making his entire body appear grotesque.

Anyone who saw him in his current state would find it incredibly terrifying.

Shen Bei's pupils constricted in the distance.

Is this what battles between Martial Artists are like? So terrifying!

But within Shen Bei's heart, a competitive spirit was ignited.

"Strong! Only the strongest can stand at the pinnacle of invincibility and not have their lives toyed with by other Martial Artists!"

Shen Bei took a deep breath, suppressed his agitated state of mind, and continued to watch.

At this moment, Fang Ming was almost crippled, completely unable to resist, and could only be manipulated by Luo Chengyuan.

Luo Chengyuan's eyes were sharp, and a faint, cold Aura emanated from him. He grabbed Fang Ming by the neck and lifted him up. "Now, what is your choice?"

Fang Ming's eyes streamed with bloody tears, and his vertical pupils were tightly shut. "You… you know, I'm not alone. You've chased the wrong person."

In Luo Chengyuan's eyes, a dark glint vaguely flashed.

He naturally knew that the members of the Headhunter Tribe had split up to flee when pursued by the Tianqi Divine Sect.

"Then you are worthless."

As soon as he finished speaking, Luo Chengyuan's fingers suddenly exerted force, squeezing Fang Ming's throat, and he strangled him to death!

Fang Ming's face turned black and purple, his body twitched a few times, emitting incomprehensible gurgling sounds, then his head slumped, and he died of asphyxiation.

However, Luo Chengyuan did not let Fang Ming go. He dropped the body, stripped it bare, and searched it. Aside from a Medicinal Pill and a worthless Martial Skill, he found nothing.

"Damn it!"

Luo Chengyuan kicked the body away, twisted his neck, and muttered to himself, "I hope the others had some luck."

He shook his arm, and a trail of blood dripped from his elbow down to his palm.

Luo Chengyuan cursed, "Even a cornered rabbit will bite… he actually burst one of my blood vessels."

After lingering for a few breaths, Luo Chengyuan turned and left, disappearing into the dense forest.

Shen Bei, observing this from a distance, did not approach but continued to lie hidden in the tree.

Shen Bei knew that with his own strength, he was no match for Luo Chengyuan, and he couldn't even defeat Fang Ming.

Rushing down rashly would easily lead to a brutal death.

Sure enough, not long after, Luo Chengyuan's figure reappeared at the edge of the battlefield, looking around, seemingly to confirm whether anyone had arrived or if Fang Ming was faking his death.

Luo Chengyuan waited for a full five minutes before finally leaving with peace of mind, disappearing completely.

After Shen Bei confirmed that Luo Chengyuan would not make a surprise return, he jumped down from the tree trunk and crept towards Fang Ming's body.

"There shouldn't be anything left to pick up, right?"

Shen Bei turned Fang Ming's body over and over for a long time.

Generally speaking, Martial Artists of Fang Ming's caliber would carry some Medicinal Pills and Cultivation Techniques or Martial Skills.

Medicinal Pills, of course, were straightforwardly for "combat endurance."

However, in Fang Ming's battle against Luo Chengyuan, the two were simply not in the same league. There was no struggle to speak of, only a complete crush. Taking pills would have been useless and there wouldn't have been time.

Cultivation Techniques and Martial Skills were more interesting.

They could be studied at any time, increasing one's understanding and comprehension of Martial Skills.

There was an even deeper purpose: to sacrifice a pawn to save the king.

According to Shen Bei's understanding, it was like the "wheel-dropping for survival" tactic after a Volvo car crash.

Sometimes, one could use a Cultivation Technique or Martial Skill to exchange for a miserable survival.

Shen Bei's gaze slowly moved downwards, looking at Fang Ming's buttocks…

Shen Bei stroked his chin meaningfully. "Is that possible?"

"Directly reaching in… that's a bit dirty."

Shen Bei sniffed, ran back to the water's edge, and retrieved the grappling hook.

Then he turned Fang Ming's body over.

Although the grappling hook wasn't very sharp, it was more than enough to tear through flesh.

Pffft…

Shen Bei directly disemboweled Fang Ming.

Suppressing his nausea and the stench, he pulled out the internal organs, even the intestines, and repeatedly squeezed them.

"Hmm?"

Within the softness, there was a hard protrusion.

He peeled it open.

A white, hard object, about the length of a middle finger, fell out.

Wiping away the filth, it was a roll of paper wrapped in plastic film.

Shen Bei's expression shifted. "The sphincter is truly an amazing organ!"

"I really did find something!"
