316: The Adventures of Er Gou

On the main avenue, the war between the heavy cavalry and the Qin Army was still ongoing, and because many Qin Army Military Generals had been drawn to it, the situation was currently a bit better.

But this was just one spot; currently, battles were raging everywhere within the Xiongnu people Encampment.

Er Gou, riding a white horse, chased several Xiongnu Soldiers who hadn't yet mounted their warhorses; they pursued them relentlessly, and in the end, only one of the more than ten fleeing Xiongnu Soldiers remained!

"Die!" Er Gou thrust his lance forward, ultimately killing him with a single spear thrust from behind!

Er Gou slashed again with his spear, then with a flick of the spear tip, he grabbed the Xiongnu people Soldier's right ear and put it into his bosom.

"Heh heh, twenty-one! My military achievements have never been this easy!" Er Gou chuckled, but the next moment he stopped smiling, his eyes instantly filled with vigilance.

"Is this the Right Wise King's main tent?"

Er Gou looked around, and seeing no one, he dismounted, carefully walking inside.

"What the hell!" Just as Er Gou reached the entrance, he was unexpectedly tripped by something; he looked down and saw it was a corpse covered with a white cloth. Driven by curiosity, Er Gou lifted the white cloth, only to see countless dried and festering blood holes on the corpse. It was the height of summer, and it was already starting to smell.

"Tsk tsk tsk." Er Gou clicked his tongue, looking at the gruesome corpse: "Who's so cruel? Not content with just killing, they even desecrate the corpse. They really have no Wu De."

But when a ray of sunlight, from far to near, enveloped Er Gou, he suddenly took a step back!

"Damn it, how could he be here?" Er Gou mumbled. Wasn't this the Xiongnu people who had killed seven or eight of his brothers before, and whose corpse he had then desecrated?

How could he see him here?

Just then, the sound of hoofbeats came, and Er Gou looked back to see a fully armed squad of Xiongnu Cavalry Soldiers approaching from a distance.

They had clearly spotted Er Gou as well, pointing at him and riding towards him.

"Damn it!" Er Gou cursed under his breath, turning to mount his warhorse, but then his eyes darted, and he turned back, throwing the corpse covered with the white cloth onto his warhorse. Then he, too, mounted his warhorse and galloped forward.

Er Gou was somewhat panicked and disoriented. He heard the Xiongnu people behind him shouting loudly. Without needing to think, they were surely yelling "Chase!" and "Don't run!" or similar Xiongnu people phrases, because he always heard these words when he fought against Xiongnu Scouts.

He then whipped his warhorse, wanting to speed up. He knew he couldn't possibly defeat a squad of thirty Cavalry Soldiers alone. But then arrows were loosed from behind again. Without thinking, he directly covered himself with the corpse, using it to block the arrows for him.

Er Gou felt a strong pushing sensation from behind; without a doubt, the back of the corpse must have become a pincushion by now.

Seeing a tall fence ahead, blocking Er Gou's path.

Er Gou was greatly alarmed and directly leaned to the side, flinging the corpse backward to reduce the warhorse's load!

Then he fiercely spurred his warhorse, leaping over the fence!

Meanwhile, the corpse flew backward and was directly split in half by a powerful, heavy slash from an oncoming Xiongnu people Foreman!

Er Gou felt a great sense of relief. Seeing a few scattered individuals ahead who were also Qin Army, he relaxed.

Then he looked back and felt a secret satisfaction seeing the corpse split in half. His eyes darted again, and he actually turned his horse around, looking at them through the fence.

Suddenly, his eyes turned red, and he stretched out his hand, floating in mid-air, as if saying, "No!"

The Xiongnu Cavalry Soldiers looked at Er Gou's reluctant appearance, somewhat exchanging glances.

But emotion is the best language; even if both sides don't speak the same language, they can instantly understand what the other wants to express!

Suddenly, a Xiongnu Cavalry Soldier had an epiphany and said something to those around him. Immediately, they picked up the corpse with their spear tips, and another forcefully swung his weapon!

"Bang!"

Two became four!

The Xiongnu Soldiers, seeing the Qin Army on the other side looking enraged, drew their bows and shot arrows at them. They initially wanted to retaliate, but then saw three consecutive arrows that were all weak, falling to the ground halfway. So they relaxed and mocked them loudly.

This scene made them even more excited. Although he escaped, watching him suffer was also a form of revenge.

Watching Er Gou's heartbroken expression, the Xiongnu Cavalry Soldiers laughed even more heartily!

They dismembered him, torturing him cruelly!

One became two, two became four, four became eight, eventually turning into countless pieces!

Even this wasn't enough; they continued to torture him.

"Brother, what are you doing?" Several Qin Army Soldiers nearby came over and asked.

"Nothing, just playing with a fool. Let's go." Er Gou suddenly changed his demeanor and said with a smile.

"What are you doing!" At the same time, a Xiongnu Military General walked over and reprimanded them.

"Sir, we are torturing a Qin Army Soldier." The Xiongnu Soldiers stopped laughing and cupped their hands.

"Scram! Hurry up and do something useful." The Xiongnu Military General angrily shouted.

"Yes, sir!" This squad of Xiongnu Cavalry Soldiers stopped laughing, turned, and cupped their hands in acceptance of the order.

The Xiongnu Military General frowned and rode his warhorse, searching for enemies, but a thumb ring on the ground caught his attention!

He looked again at the scattered limbs and severed arms on the ground, and his vision suddenly darkened...
