101: Chapter 101 Departure
"Yes, I told you your name was Third," Chu Xingyang felt a sudden, inexplicable sense of loss.
Perhaps it was because he had witnessed with his own eyes the fall of a god and a demigod; after all, deities are supposed to be immortal and indestructible.
But the planetary consciousness did not feel any of this; it remained immersed in the joy of Chu Riyang's demise.
Even its voice carried a note of cheer: "Yes, thank you for the reminder, Deity. I have been called Third since I was born, and I will still be called Third when I die. It is the only name I have had in my entire life."
The planet did not understand; this was, after all, the Creator who had made it.
Yet, the death of its "father" made it feel so relieved and jubilant, as if a mountain that had been pressing down on its heart for ten thousand years had suddenly vanished.
It could only blame this Evil God for being so wicked.
Amidst the atmosphere of global jubilation, Tu Kulei was likely the most excited of them all.
He piloted his shuttle, stopping everywhere, proudly proclaiming to the crowds: "Look! Just as I told you when I first arrived, the Great Deity Xingyang, the only god in the universe, has destroyed your false god, the Evil God, and brought you eternal light!"
He, who previously believed that "warships are more effective for proselytizing than the divine canon," had spent this entire time holding the xingyang divine canon, personally running to fields, riverbanks, and mountain foothills to preach in farmhouses.
Because, in the face of Chu Riyang's endless variety of torture and slaughter, warships were truly not worth mentioning.
However, even though the Evil God had perished, the propagation of Xingyang God yielded little success.
Having been cruelly oppressed for ten thousand years and deliberately kept in an agricultural age, humanity had long developed a deep psychological fear of the word "deity."
They did not know if this new deity would be the same as the previous Riyang God, so most people remained hesitant.
Tu Kulei was so angry he beat his chest and cursed: "In the future, if there is ever another one like Chu Riyang, acting in the name of a god to commit evil, I will kill them on sight, without any mercy!"
He recommended Wei to be the supreme leader of this planet, which was now waiting to be rebuilt; after all, no one understood suffering better than this woman who had endured ten thousand years of torment.
She would certainly not let her people repeat the same mistakes.
Wei had been weeping; her son, whom she had raised through hardship, hiding and fleeing for 6,500 years, and whom she had missed for another 500 years.
He had left her after only a few days of embracing her once the new deity had rescued them.
He had perished together with his demonic father.
Wei Wei remained nestled by her ancestor's side, weeping with her.
Yu Lan walked over and comforted her: "Please grieve in moderation! There are still very important things waiting for you to do. Having undergone Matter Conversion many times, you will have a very long life; no one is more suitable than you to lead humanity out of the gloom."
She and Wei Wei had only had their bodies converted once by the Xingyang God, and their reorganized cells were already aging exceptionally slowly.
It was hard to imagine what kind of lifespan Wei Wei's ancestor before them would possess.
Wei wiped the tears from her face and nodded firmly: "Yes, my child is gone, but I will not let others suffer the same fate as I did. We will certainly have a bright future."
She walked into the supreme administrative body established by representatives of the seven human races.
The representatives in the organization implored the Blue Star people: "Please completely destroy the five Sun God Palaces on the five continents; we do not want to see any trace of Chu Riyang's existence."
Chu Xingyang, disguised as a bishop, expressed regret: "Those are magnificent structures stretching for hundreds of miles, which you spent ten thousand years expanding to such a scale, generation after generation, at the cost of countless lives."
"No!" Everyone was exceptionally firm: "We request they be completely razed to the ground. Those are memories of suffering, and we want to start a new life."
Yu Lan nodded. With divine might and the other ten warships present, it would not be difficult to precisely destroy these buildings.
Chu Xingyang, however, reclined in his chair, having some other thoughts.
Soon, under the witness of the humans on this parallel universe planet, the five huge and vast Sun God Palaces were covered by a layer of light, and those magnificent buildings collapsed and shrank silently within the radiance.
And all kinds of exquisite gifts began to fall from the sky.
Large quantities of bagged grain, delicious sweets, clothes and toys for children, and even daily utensils like bowls and chopsticks.
Amidst the joy and astonishment of the crowd, the words of the Xingyang God began to reach everyone's ears.
"This is a small comfort from me to you, who have suffered so much. Of course, the Blue Star people of the Xingyang Civilization will also teach you technology during this time, allowing you to leave the agricultural age sooner."
"I have helped you destroy Chu Riyang; from now on, let everyone work together for joint development. I will bless you."
Everyone cheered from the bottom of their hearts, tears welling up in their eyes as they watched the gifts gently drifting down to the ground.
Gods are indeed different from one another.
Compared to that god who only knew how to make endless demands, cruelly exploit, and take pleasure in slaughtering humans.
The Xingyang God is the true deity.
"We devoutly convert to the only deity, and the entire planet joins the Xingyang Civilization."
"May we follow in the footsteps of the deity, remember the deity's kindness for generations to come, and be faithful believers and servants of the Xingyang God."
Tu Kulei also could not hold back his tears.
The Xingyang God truly exists in all time and space.
A single appearance by the deity is worth more than all the billions of times he has personally preached.
Those children who had been short of food and clothing, suffering from cold and hunger since they were born.
Put on brand-new clothes and ate exquisite sweets.
Only now did they truly realize that the dark era was gone forever.
They would live happily under the great light.
Parents held their thin, withered children, sobbing incessantly: "With the Xingyang God here, we will not go hungry in the future. We won't have to worry about freezing to death on snowy nights in the winter either."
Wei watched the people immersed in immense happiness, watching humanity feel Hope for the first time.
She murmured to herself: "My child is gone, but from now on, all of humanity is my child. You will no longer have to endure hunger or live under cruel oppression!"
Half a month later, the first sanctuary on the planet was completed.
Nearly a hundred 14-year-old girls became the first batch of holy maidens in this parallel universe.
They knelt with immense devotion, praying to the Xingyang God.
And Chu Xingyang, watching the huge star gate outside the Oort Cloud open once again, knew it was time for the Blue Star humans to leave.
Wei Wei and her ancestor were saying their final goodbyes.
The two wiped tears from each other's faces, reluctant to part.
Wei hugged her descendant tightly: "Thank you, thank you for helping us escape from the sea of suffering."
"Ancestor, anyone with the ability would not sit idly by and watch the wicked Chu Riyang. You must take care!"
"Yes! Rest assured, the Xingyang God will bless me. I just don't know when we will be able to meet again."
Wei Wei sobbed uncontrollably: "We will, I will find a way to come see you."
Not long after, the divine might, along with 10 warships, passed through the star gate and returned to the Milky Way Galaxy.
