93: Chapter 93 A God That Is Completely Different

With a shudder of her shoulders, Wei, whose eyes were already hollow with fear, let out a soft moan as the pain caused her to furrow her brows tightly.

Chu Riyang looked at the few drops of blood beneath him and her numb expression, feeling quite dissatisfied. He immediately roared impatiently, "Hey, give me some reaction. Don't be like a dead fish."

A few Shu People nearby who were still alive knelt down and begged for mercy, "great deity, please let us go. Please spare Wei."

"You peeping toms are so annoying! Anyone who interrupts my fun must die!"

In an instant, the heads of these Shu People were separated from their bodies.

Vaguely realizing that she was the only one left of the eight-person squad, the terrified and numb Wei had a few tears leak from the corners of her eyes.

"Hahaha, that's more like it," Chu Riyang continued his movements. "But this reaction is still a bit lacking."

A wicked smile appeared on the corner of his mouth as he shouted, "Grow, grow, grow!"

The intense pain made Wei scream in agony, her face contorting and her whole body twitching as if in a spasm. A second before she felt like she would split apart, her body suddenly went rigid and she fainted.

Chu Riyang then pulled away and stood up, saying with a look of resentment, "What a buzzkill! She can't even handle a little bit of pain."

He took a long piss on Wei's face, trying to wake her up with the stream.

But seeing that it had no effect at all, he could only pat his butt and leave.

"Forget it, there must be plenty of fun things on the five continents. I shouldn't waste time here."

On the Southern Continent, the Merfolk who were being besieged by Hainosaurus found that these terrifying man-eating monsters suddenly exploded in place for no apparent reason.

A large amount of severed limbs and blood dyed the sea surface a deep crimson.

Amidst the confusion of her clansmen, the sharp-eyed Princess Aisha shouted, "It's him, the man walking on the water. He must be a great deity who has come to save us."

Chu Riyang waved at the Heavenly Immortal-like princess and said with a fake smile, "Don't mention it. For a great deity, this doesn't even count as lifting a finger."

The Merfolk immediately gathered around to kowtow and thank him for the god's grace.

Kneeling at the very front were Queen Ai and her daughter, Princess Aisha.

After hearing the introductions, Chu Riyang's eyes lit up. "So it's a Mermaid mother and daughter!"

He scooped up Princess Aisha to look her over, then set her down and picked up her mother.

After observing again, he couldn't help but express his confusion. "Wait, the lower half really is a fish. There's no... how do you reproduce?"

The Mermaid mother and daughter glanced at each other, seemingly startled by the deity's bluntness.

After a moment, Ai whispered with a red face, "We discharge translucent eggs from our tails. Then, then the sperm is released onto them..."

After hearing this, Chu Riyang tilted his head and muttered to himself, "Incomprehensible. Not fun at all."

At this moment, the Merfolk had already presented a large amount of delicious delicacies.

Fine wine, roasted meat, and fresh fruit were placed on several exquisite wooden planks floating on the sea.

Ai carefully peeled a grape and brought it to the deity's lips.

Half a day later, having had his fill of food and wine, Chu Riyang suddenly stood up and forcefully pressed down on the heads of Ai and Princess Aisha. "Open up!"

The two Mermaids were momentarily stunned, and only after a moment did they vaguely guess the deity's meaning.

The two looked up and saw the god's serious gaze, both realizing what was about to happen.

Two days later, Ai, with disheveled hair and a raw throat, saw that the corner of her daughter's mouth was also leaking red liquid.

She couldn't help but cautiously plead, "great deity, I beg you to let Princess Aisha rest. She is still young and her body is weak."

Seeing that the god looked as if he hadn't heard her at all,

she could only summon her courage again and try tentatively, "A great and merciful deity should exercise restraint in his actions and cherish his people."

Chu Riyang flew into a rage, grabbing her hair and shoving her entire head into the water. "You dare teach a god how to act? If I can't do whatever I want, then what's the point of being a god?"

Princess Aisha was so scared she knelt on the water, kowtowing incessantly while tears fell like rain. "My mother spoke out of turn and deserves to die for angering the deity, but for the sake of her serving you for so many days, I beg you to spare her."

The other Merfolk also knelt down to plead for their Queen.

With a wave of his hand, Chu Riyang delivered a slap that knocked out most of Princess Aisha's teeth. "Spare her? If I do, you'll probably get bolder and bolder!"

A terrifying smile appeared on his face. "Speaking of which, Mermaids are fish too, aren't they? I wonder what they taste like when cooked?"

He then dragged Ai onto the shore and skewered her straight through from the tail with a bamboo pole.

The Merfolk Queen writhed and howled in agony.

Seeing such a tragic sight, Princess Aisha swam to the shore with all her might, crying out, "Great and merciful deity, I beg you to let my mother go."

Chu Riyang roared impatiently, "If you keep shouting, I'll roast you too in a moment!"

Ai, skewered straight through by the bamboo pole, had already been placed on the rack. Before dying, she used her last breath to say to her daughter, "Do not defy the god. Live on."

A second before the bonfire was lit, her breath was completely cut off. Her open eyes still held the lingering worry for the future of her daughter and her clansmen.

Afterward, Chu Riyang wiped his greasy mouth and spat on the ground. "What kind of junk is this? So oily..."

He looked at the Merfolk in front of him, each kneeling on the ground and curled into a trembling ball, when he suddenly remembered something. "Doesn't your Southern Continent have another race that glows? What are they called, Yingmen?"

Aisha, who had most of her teeth knocked out, still had a large amount of blood lingering at the corners of her mouth.

Despite her mother dying tragically before her eyes, and despite her own unbearable pain,

she still forced herself to speak slurringly so as not to anger the god, "Yes, the males of the Yingmen glow. They are in the north-central region of the continent."

Chu Riyang suddenly started laughing. "Hahaha, the way you talk with air leaking out is so funny. It seems I was right to give you that slap earlier."

The Merfolk lying on the ground were filled with rage, but everyone was doing their best to suppress it.

After all, if they offended the god, their entire race would cease to exist.

"In the future, a Divine Palace must be built on every continent for me to live in. For your Southern Continent, let's have half of it in the sea and half on land." Chu Riyang was already planning the subsequent matters.

"Those Yingmen can be used for lighting. Put one in every room and a row in every corridor!" He thought for a moment and felt it wasn't quite right. "No, only the men among the Yingmen glow, and I'll have so many maids in my palace..."

"So, should I castrate the Yingmen, or switch to using you Merfolk as lamps? After all, those big Merfolk tails are full of oil; they could burn for quite a long time!"

All the Merfolk were shaken to the core. Their Queen had died tragically and their Princess had been humiliated. Even after such total submission, was it still difficult to survive? Were they unable to escape the fate of being exterminated?

Fortunately, Chu Riyang finally made up his mind. "Forget it, I'll use the Yingmen as lamps. I'll need a lot of lamps, and there aren't enough of you Merfolk to keep them lit."

In the following days, he summoned representatives of all the races on the Southern Continent.

After demonstrating his Divine Power, he gave them a very short deadline.

"Finish it within three years according to this design. For those who are late, it'll be 'one out of three'."

The Yingmen Clan Chief looked up and asked cautiously, "great deity, what is 'one out of three'?"

Chu Riyang answered patiently, "It's easy to understand. Here, have your two sons stand in a row with you."

Once they were lined up, he used gravitational force to tear the two children in half, then said with a smile, "Just like this. Everyone line up; one out of three stays alive. Now you understand?"
