6: Chapter 6 Eighteen Races

Perhaps not wanting to stage a cruel "battle royale" between the species too early, Chu Xingyang scattered them quite evenly; the two closest species were separated by over two thousand kilometers.

He even specifically checked the notes provided by the system, scattering them in environments better suited to their survival based on each species' innate adaptability. For instance, species that were not cold-resistant were placed near the equator.

Much like the legend of sowing beans to summon soldiers, eighteen clusters of people drifted down onto the land of this planet. Although all had limbs, their appearances were distinct, and their heights varied greatly. Even their walking gaits were vastly different.

"Battle royale, or perhaps evolution, fusion, and growth. Eighteen types of humans, I do not yet know your individual differences and potential, but I will bless you all equally. Run, my children!"

He muttered to himself.

To think that the incredibly sacred act of creating intelligent life would fall upon an ordinary person like me.

Chu Xingyang was incredibly excited.

His blessing was also truly from the bottom of his heart.

Not knowing how much time had passed, he finally stopped the pace of sowing life.

"Dad, how many types of creatures have you created on me?" The Third asked impatiently.

"At least ten million," Chu Xingyang replied without counting carefully.

"I can feel it, my father. Thank you for your gift. I request that you help those humans, let them create civilization sooner. I want my body to be bustling with life and shining with lights!"

Chu Xingyang remained silent. Now, he still felt that it would be better to just be an observer for the time being, without intervening too much.

He lowered his eyes, gazing at all the humans.

At present, they did not yet have a language to communicate. As the first generation of their respective tribes, they could only look around, gazing at this strange world in confusion and helplessness.

Then, with an instinct bordering on animalistic, they gradually gathered together, clustering beside those who resembled themselves.

Just like seeds that spontaneously absorb sunlight and nutrients upon hitting the ground, these completely different human populations also began to forage one after another. Wild vegetables in the grass, small fish in the river, fruits on the trees.

But to Chu Xingyang's surprise, a few of the species began to migrate very quickly!

"Do they not like the location where I planted them? I clearly paid attention to that." He observed curiously.

One of the species had almost no body hair except for their hair, and their skin presented a faint silver color, which looked quite beautiful under the sunlight.

They were already quite close to the sea, and sniffing the faint scent of seawater in the air, the entire tribe walked all the way towards the ocean, following the scent.

"Going to the seaside?" Chu Xingyang was a bit puzzled. This species was slightly taller than the Homo sapiens species he belonged to, which was due to their slender legs.

It was just that they seemed too slender, resulting in a complete lack of strength, which made them appear exceptionally strained during their not-so-long migration journey.

After some comparison, this was almost the slowest walking species among the eighteen.

A few months later, the entire tribe finally gathered on the beach.

Although they were not good on land, they had an innate affinity for water. When other species encountered the giant creatures of the primitive ocean, they could only be eaten.

Yet they could churn and dash in the seawater. A dozen or so of them could work together to capture a shelled "shellfish" over three meters long, then drag it ashore, and the whole tribe would immediately surround it to eat the raw meat. After finishing the meat inside, they would use the huge shell to build houses.

"Are those webbed feet?" There were actually membranes between their exceptionally long toes.

"Then I shall call you Fish-people." Chu Xingyang widened his eyes, naming the species he had created for the first time. "Perhaps the females among you really might evolve into the kind of mermaids on Earth!"

Afterward, he cast his gaze toward other species and was suddenly taken aback.

That species... why did it give a feeling of familiarity?

If it were on Earth in his first life, it would probably make a very small number of people like it to the point of madness.
