135: Chapter 135 The Power of Origin

"Primordial Power?"

Everyone on the three warships showed expressions of curiosity, but out of a deep longing for home, they no longer wanted to keep waiting.

Tu Kulei retorted bluntly: "We are devout believers of the great deity. The Xingyang God not only created us but is also omniscient and omnipotent."

"So do not try to trap us with any conditions or requirements; just let us return to our Main Universe."

Hearing this, several Giants of Light looked at each other.

After a while, the leader finally said: "It is not that we want to make things difficult for you, but all the rules regarding parallel universes existed long before your god was born. So... we are also helpless. If you want to return, you must have Primordial Power!"

"It is just a pity that a true civilization cannot possibly possess this power that far exceeds that of gods, so you definitely cannot go back; the only choice left is to stay here peacefully."

Amidst everyone's disappointment and confusion, Chu Xingyang remained calm. He always felt that having something to do was not a bad thing.

So he said with a smile: "Then tell us what that thing actually is, and let me see how hard it is to get!"

The Bishop's words reignited everyone's Hope of returning home; after all, in their hearts, the Bishop was someone appointed and empowered by the god.

But the Giants of Light slowly shook their heads: "This is something that can never be obtained by power alone! It is very likely that all the interstellar civilizations in the entire universe combined cannot find even one."

The expressions of the crew on the three warships dimmed, feeling vaguely that their wish to return home would become a bubble.

General Commander Yu Lan, however, shouted without worry: "Just tell us what it is; maybe we have it."

Everyone was stunned by her optimism, even though it had been said that few civilizations in the universe possessed it.

Would the Xingyang Civilization really be that lucky?

The giants who heard this laughed: "Haha, truly ignorant of the height of the sky and the depth of the earth. I am afraid it will scare you if I say it, so sit down and listen carefully."

"Primordial Power is the most original power on a planet. On a planet capable of giving birth to intelligent humanoid creatures, there must be eighteen races in the initial stage."

"And if you want to return to the Main Universe, you need a key that can open the gate to the Multiverse. And that key is the blood of eighteen living races!"

"Unfortunately, you do not have it. Long before the era of slash-and-burn agriculture, some races would perish one after another. Most will only have one race remaining by the time they develop into an agricultural civilization."

"And that race will call itself the humans of the planet, continuing to develop into a more advanced civilization."

Hearing this, all the Blue Star people were dumbfounded and ran to the portholes, looking at these tall giants emitting dazzling light as if they were looking at fools.

The originally eloquent mouths of the Giants of Light gradually stopped.

Standing in space, they had originally just been staring at the hulls of the three warships nonchalantly.

But now, they subconsciously began to observe the Blue Star people through the portholes.

It was fine not to look, but the more they looked, the more shocked they became. The mouths of the Giants of Light opened wider and wider: "Your races are quite complete, but it is impossible to have all eighteen; it is impossible to form the key to open the gate to the Multiverse."

Yu Lan curled her lips: "It is indeed difficult... that stupid key. Our warship can only form one, after all, there is only one Yingmen, Piao Bucheng! But the other two warships can form many."

Tomwence quickly counted for a while, then said expressionlessly: "My divine grace can currently form five. It is also stuck on the Yingmen; there are only five Yingmen. By the way, is this race really rare, or do they just not like being crew members roaming the universe?"

The Giants of Light all stood stunned on the spot, muttering to themselves: "Impossible, did you make a mistake somewhere? You are already an interstellar civilization; how can all eighteen races still be here!"

Gu Shuiqing cursed loudly: "Are you trying to go back on your word? You made it sound so difficult at the beginning to scare us... It turns out this requirement is so simple; on my shen yang flagship, I could easily form dozens of them."

His words instantly stirred the emotions of the other crew members, and everyone shouted: "No going back on your word! Send us back to the Main Universe quickly!"

The Giants of Light looked embarrassed: "We will not go back on your word; this was originally a hard requirement. We just did not expect that you actually have eighteen races. This dreamlike fact has truly scared us."

Gu Shuiqing was full of pride, smiling and responding: "You outsiders must feel surprised when you see it, but it is normal to us. The Xingyang God is above, and the great deity protects everyone!"

Tu Kulei took the opportunity to hold out the brand new "xingyang divine canon" from his arms, then said to the giants: "Take it and read it; you will definitely convert."

The Giants of Light hesitated for a moment.

Eventually, they sent a small robot to run to "divine might" to retrieve the "divine canon".

The crew could not wait any longer and shouted one after another: "When exactly will you give us the key!"

Soon, the Giants of Light started the ritual according to the records of ancient documents.

Shu People, Cat People, Dongshan people, and some other races have always had large populations, and there were plenty of them on the spaceship. So, many people signed up.

But for those with small populations, like the Yingmen Piao Bucheng who was the only one on "divine might", and the Music Person Helmsman Xuan Yue who was the Helmsman on "shen yang flagship".

And the Artisan Murphy was the Science Officer on "divine grace".

These people all took the initiative to join the ceremony without hesitation.

Soon, eighteen people formed a circle in the void of the vast universe.

Then, a large amount of blood oozed from everyone's chests and gathered at the center of the circle.

A minute later, the center of the circle erupted with intense light. A fist-sized crystal emitting eerie green light was delivered to the hands of Bishop Chu Xingyang.

And the eighteen people all fainted due to excessive blood loss.

Fortunately, they were quickly sent to Wei Wei's infirmary, and her ancestor Wei was also nervously busy helping to take care of the wounded.

The crew all breathed a sigh of relief; it turned out that this ritual initiated to obtain the key would not actually take the lives of the eighteen people.

Chu Xingyang smiled wickedly: "Can you teach me the method and process of this ritual? I will find a way to make them develop the habit of storing their own blood during normal times!"

The Giants of Light nodded repeatedly: "We can teach you, but using stored blood for the ritual will definitely not work; it must be blood taken from living people on the spot."

After another half a day, this farce finally ended.

At least in the eyes of the Blue Star humans, the parallel universe key that the giants made sound so alarmist... was completely a joke.

The eighteen races on Blue Star have been growing sturdily.

Of course, they also know that it is the grace of the great Xingyang God that has allowed all races to develop to this day!
