41: Chapter 41: Will the Warp Drive Starships Destroy All of Humanity?

Chu Xingyang returned to his main body as a star. He naturally knew that on the third planet of this Solar System, Blue Star, smoke had been filling the air and artillery fire had been raging for over a decade.

Two major factions were dragging all the countries of the world into a protracted war.

It wasn't that he didn't want to manage this world war, which had been triggered by a ridiculous reason.

It was because he had something more important to do: new guests had arrived! An interstellar warship driven by a Warp Engine suddenly appeared inside the star system.

Chu Xingyang had originally thought that the ship, which was still far away and the size of a football field, had suddenly accelerated or experienced a technological explosion.

But upon closer observation, he realized that ship was still sailing toward them from outside the star system at one-thousandth the speed of light.

This interstellar warship, however, clearly possessed the ability to travel faster than light and was fully loaded with various types of weapons.

Gamma-ray lasers, high-energy particle beams, infrasonic hydrogen bombs, pulsed phase cannons, and so on.

In short, if this warship had come to invade, they could easily wipe out all life within the star system.

This made Chu Xingyang very concerned, so he sent a Consciousness Projection inside the starship to observe quietly.

The crew inside looked somewhat similar to humans, but they had dark brown skin with a texture like matte metal.

In the command room on the bridge, several personnel reported the situation to the captain: "Report, Captain. If we take the spherical cloud with a diameter of two light-years as the boundary of this star system, we are already inside the system, currently 0.3 light-years from the star."

Another tall person spoke up again: "The third planet in this star system is a habitable planet, which is also the destination of the fugitives. They still need about two thousand years to arrive; they certainly didn't expect us to get here first."

Hearing this, Chu Xingyang thought to himself that the universe was far livelier than he had imagined. Both those fleeing and those in pursuit were heading toward his sun.

The captain nodded: "Are there any intelligent beings in this star system?"

As soon as he finished speaking, a three-dimensional image flashed before him, displaying the war-torn scenes of Blue Star.

Someone next to him eagerly explained: "Yes, the current total is about 1.2 billion. Although everyone is a believer in the same god, they have split into two factions and are fighting due to disagreements over the interpretation of the oracle."

The captain curled his lips: "Fighting? In my eyes, this kind of fighting is just two monkeys fighting over lice on each other to eat. If they really have a god, then that god is just a monkey trainer!"

The people around burst into laughter, pandering to their captain.

Someone shouted loudly: "Let us wipe out this group of monkeys and give the fugitives a surprise!"

A hint of coldness flashed in Chu Xingyang's eyes.

Blue Star, Xingyang Year 264. Relying on the aerial reconnaissance of the Winged People and the powerful firepower of humanoid mechs.

The Three-Continent Allied Forces captured nearly a third of the Starfire Empire's territory, pushing the front line all the way to the south bank of the An Shen River.

In the trenches of the Gospel Army on the north bank of the An Shen River, everyone was filled with emotion.

A young soldier said: "More than two hundred years ago, the Gospel Army crossed the An Shen River from north to south, and after leaving countless corpses behind, they unified the North Continent. Now, we have to rely on this river to defend against the enemy coming from the south. Sigh, I don't know how the people in the occupied territories are doing."

An elderly veteran comforted him: "Great Deity Xingyang blesses us; they are all believers. The enemy won't go too far. As long as you smash the electric lights, they won't commit any offenses. It's just that they pester my wife to write persuasion letters for me every day, and every time they come, they bring candy for my grandson."

After a moment of silence, a middle-aged man whispered: "So, are you surrendering or not? Your son has already sacrificed his life. It would be nice to surrender and go back to hold your grandson and enjoy family happiness."

The old man twitched his lips in a half-smile. After looking up at the sky thoughtfully, a firm look appeared in his eyes: "I have heard of various miracles. Although I haven't seen the Great Deity Xingyang with my own eyes, my ancestors heard the words that the god conveyed to everyone more than a hundred years ago."

"Therefore, I firmly believe that such a loving and caring god would not forbid us from using electric lights!"

Hearing the veteran's words, everyone smiled knowingly. This was also the reason they had persisted until now.

How could the great and loving Xingyang God forbid humans from using electric lights just because he was a sun? This was too absurd.
