4: Chapter 4 Habitable Zone Planets

Chu Xingyang arrived at the Third, located 150 million kilometers away from himself.

In a daze, he suddenly felt as if he had returned to his first life; this planet, with a diameter of 13,000 kilometers, was truly too similar to Earth.

To put it a bit hyperbolically, it was as if they were carved from the same mold.

The same atmosphere, the same topographical structure, the same cycle of four seasons, and the same sunrise and sunset. Even the temperature was identical.

If one had to nitpick, it would be that the ratio of land to ocean wasn't 30/70 like Earth's, but a fifty-fifty split, each occupying half the surface. Aside from the North and South Poles, there were five continents of roughly similar size.

Another difference was the satellites; Earth only had one, but here, there were two!

Chu Xingyang excitedly ran to the far side of the planet and gazed out at the starry sky.

One large and one small, two moons hung high in the sky, with significant differences in color. One was silvery-white, the other orange-red.

Yet, because they both reflected the light from him—the sun—they were exceptionally dazzling, overshadowing all the surrounding starlight.

Chu Xingyang suddenly had a strange thought.

If this planet were to have poets like Li Bai and Du Fu in the future...

Then they certainly wouldn't be able to write verses like "I raise my cup to invite the moon; my shadow makes us three," or "The lone moon fills the tower; the cold river stirs the night door."

Because this planet had two moons, the moon would naturally not become a symbol of emotions like loneliness or homesickness.

Instead, it might become an embodiment of mutual devotion and growing old together.

How nice, being in pairs is better than being the only lonely sun in this Solar System.

"Father, please sow the seeds of life upon me. I am a habitable planet; there will surely be life capable of communicating with you soon."

It was the Third's voice; he seemed to have sensed his dad's loneliness.

Chu Xingyang remained noncommittal.

He would definitely create life on this planet, there was no doubt about that. Otherwise, this unique habitable planet would be wasted.

However, he held a very conservative attitude toward communicating with the intelligent life he created. After all, whether it was the Earth of the Solar System in his first life or the Wandering Earth in his second life...

...humanity had never seen the true Creator, nor a true god.

This made it impossible for him to foresee, if the humans on a certain planet knew from the start that they were created by a "God" and could communicate with that "God,"

what kind of impact and development there would be.

While he was hesitating, the Third's rotation brought him into his own sunlight.

Chu Xingyang looked up at the sky; the two moons had faded into the daytime sun's brilliance.

Stepping on the fertile soil beneath his feet and watching the gurgling stream nearby, he decided to start with plants.

Opening the system, he randomly picked a plant from within.

He sowed a few seeds.

A few months' time was just an instant in his eyes; as a sun, he had plenty of time and patience. His perception of time was far different from his time as a human.

From his perspective, the seeds took root and sprouted immediately after hitting the ground; as the sun and moon cycled, the green shoots rapidly surged upward, growing taller and larger.

Before long, red berries grew on the tall green vines, looking moist, plump, and vibrantly red under the sunlight.

Instead, Chu Xingyang felt a hint of regret; currently, he was merely an illusion and could not truly experience the taste of the berries.

He could only delicately control his ability to pluck a berry, then, imagining what it would be like to taste it, he crushed it.

The red juice splattered everywhere, and the yellow seeds drifted onto the ground.

Another sowing; the flesh was quite like a tomato's.

"Father, please create life upon me—life with high intelligence and complex emotions."

Hearing the Third's words, Chu Xingyang rolled up his sleeves.
