36: Chapter 36 Global Screening, Divine Revelation

On the vast sea surface.

In the middle of the sea where the Western Continent Allied Forces and the Starfire Empire Gospel Army were confronting each other, it was as if a gigantic, thick wall of glass had been inserted, forcefully separating the seawater.

The two bodies of water were separated by a hundred meters, with two smooth, vertical water curtains hundreds of meters high forming opposing cross-sections. The space between the two faces was empty, containing only the mud and reefs of the seabed.

Upon seeing Chu Xingyang high in the air, all the soldiers of the Gospel Army immediately knelt down. General Tang Wei and Staff Officer Tang Ruo were both teary-eyed; they never expected to see the great deity passed down through their ancestors' words in their lifetime.

The Allied Forces, however, were stunned by the spectacle of the sea being split in two.

Baron, the king of the Giant Kingdom, took a long time to recover from the shock. He did not believe his own eyes: "Hmph! Is that the god of the Northern Continent? Even if he is a god, he does not have the ability to split the sea; it is likely a trick. Vanguard, charge! Kill everyone from the Star Fire Nation!"

Under Baron's command, six warships belonging to the Giant Kingdom in the formation gritted their teeth and charged forward.

They soon reached the edge of the separated seawater. The giants on the warships looked at the abyss in front of the fleet and deeply doubted their king's judgment.

But it was too late; the six warships crossed the water's edge and fell to the seabed like dumplings being dropped into a pot.

With several loud crashes, the hulls were smashed to pieces, and naturally, no one on board survived.

Baron paid the price for his recklessness; he could only stare at the deity in the sky with a face full of terror, standing frozen on his ship.

The tens of thousands of Winged People in the air looked at the deity higher up, recalling their race's ancient prophecy. After some whispering, they finally focused their gaze on their leader.

The petite and beautiful leader of the Winged People, Yu Lan, pondered for a moment before immediately leading her people to fly beneath the deity. They all fluttered their large wings, lowered their heads, and hovered in mid-air.

Then she spoke slowly with a solemn expression: "You must be the Great Deity Xingyang, the only god who illuminates all things and enlightens all living beings. Our Winged People race will pledge our loyalty and follow you to the death, and we will listen to the teachings of the god."

Chu Xingyang was a bit surprised; he had not expected the Winged People to become his loyal believers so quickly.

On the sea, Baron and the leader of the Armored People, Le Gang, were very angry. They shouted excitedly at the sky: "You surrendered so quickly; as expected, women are spineless."

The adjutant of the Winged People in mid-air retorted fiercely: "What do you stinky men know? In our race, only women have ever been able to fly. The ancient prophecy passed down to this day says that the first man our people witness who can fly must be the god who leads us to the light!"

Yu Lan mustered the courage to sneak a glance at Chu Xingyang higher up. Her eyes flickered, and suddenly her cheeks turned red: "And the god will mate with the first Winged People leader he sees, and give birth to three... five children."

All the clansmen glanced at her sideways. Their puzzled expressions quickly turned into helplessness, thinking to themselves that their leader was truly unreliable, actually adding her own private agenda into the prophecy.

The soldiers of the Gospel Army became anxious and shouted one after another: "Shameless woman, how could the Great Deity Xingyang mate with you."

Yu Lan was completely unfazed by their words. She held her head high and stared straight at the radiant Xingyang God with a fiery gaze.

Chu Xingyang felt a bit awkward and could only temporarily ignore her. He turned to the warships on the sea and said: "Put down your weapons. I will show you something, or to be precise, I will show it to everyone on this Blue Star."

After speaking, he activated the skill Matter Conversion.

In an instant, in the skies all over the world, in the sea of the Fish People's city of Atlantis, on the roofs of the Goblin's nests, and on the ceilings of all the buildings on this planet.

A virtual screen with flowing light and shadow appeared out of thin air. The image displayed was a spaceship the size of a football field flying through deep space.

The voice of the Xingyang God came from the screen: "This is a spaceship with a speed reaching one-thousandth of the speed of light. At this speed, it will arrive here in over two thousand years, and it will be even faster if it accelerates. Therefore, the eighteen races on Blue Star, put down your struggles and develop technology together to cope with all possibilities."

Divine Revelation! The Divine Revelation of the 120th year of the Xingyang Era!

At this moment, all the humans on Blue Star knelt down.

Before this, the Northern Continent and the Central Continent had long since become loyal believers of the Xingyang God.

And the Dongyang Dynasty of the Eastern Continent was the largest country on the entire continent. Other small countries were all vassal states of the Dongyang Dynasty, so naturally, many also followed the Easterners in converting to the deity.

The Fish People of the Southern Continent had been rowing around the coastline of the continent for so many years, spreading miracles and faith. In the Southern Continent, those who were previously skeptical fully believed in the deity after this global broadcast of the miracle, and they felt regret and guilt for their previous stupidity.

The giants and Armored People of the Western Continent expressed their most devout conversion to the deity at this moment.

They put down their weapons and walked out of their warships. They came empty-handed to the city of Luojia, which had been bombarded by cannons.

Chu Xingyang looked at the devastated city, a single thought. The city was rapidly restoring itself. Brick debris backtracked to fill the gaps blasted open, walls blackened by fire quickly returned to their original color, and burned-out wooden structures were also rapidly growing back.

Yu Lan knelt at the feet of the deity. She finally realized that her infatuated self from just now was too rash. How could a real god mate with her...

In the city of Luojia, the Starfire Empire Gospel Army, the giants, the Armored People, and the Winged People all prostrated themselves on the ground with complete sincerity, wholeheartedly praising the deity: "great deity, you are the only true god in the vast universe, the only light in the darkness, and we will follow behind you to walk out of the treacherous swamp..."

Chu Xingyang waved his hand: "You must strive for self-improvement."

Staff Officer Tang Ruo of the Gospel Army crawled over at this moment: "great deity, how fast is the speed of light you just mentioned? Could you enlighten us?"

The crowd also showed curious expressions.

Because there had been a belief in the Xingyang God, the Sun God, for a long time.

Therefore, astronomers on Blue Star had never proposed a geocentric theory; instead, they had determined the heliocentric theory very early on, and of course, they had long had a rudimentary understanding of the universe.

But as for the speed of light, the people of Blue Star at this moment had absolutely no concept, even though scientists had previously thought of various whimsical experiments.

However, because they knew that the Xingyang God was the Sun God, they felt that measuring the god's speed was a blasphemy, so naturally, no one dared to defy the world's conventions.

Facing Tang Ruo's question, Chu Xingyang only responded indifferently: "Experiment and verify boldly. From now on, every continent should vigorously develop technology!"

Everyone pressed their foreheads to the ground and said in unison: "We humbly heed the deity's teachings."
