7: Chapter 7 First Contact

Besides the north and south poles, the third planet had five continents of similar size.

To save trouble, Chu Xingyang named the one in the middle the Central Continent.

And the continent at the northernmost point was, naturally, the North Continent.

At this moment, in the far north of the North Continent, on a snowy grassland beneath the snow-capped mountains, a lone "person" was lurking, evidently separated from her human tribe.

Why say "a" creature? Chu Xingyang felt it seemed a bit inappropriate to describe a person that way, but after seeing her appearance, he felt it was justifiable.

Because she really looked like a cat! A big kitty about 1.5 meters tall with large cat ears!

Perhaps this species lived in a place of extreme cold, growing very long fur all over their bodies to keep warm. And to better hide herself in this cruel, dog-eat-dog snowy forest, the fur on her back was also white.

Even that big, long, fluffy tail was almost pure white.

Curiosity drove Chu Xingyang to step forward and observe.

At this moment, she was lying on the ground, trembling, burying her pink cat ears into the snow, trying her best to make her white fur blend in with the snowy ground.

Because, not far away, there were a dozen or so snow wolves over a meter long that seemed to have caught her scent, sniffing the ground as they gathered toward where she was hiding.

Ah! So this little cat—no, this big cat—was being hunted by a pack of wolves.

The big cat raised her head. At this moment, none of the eighteen human races had invented language yet, so naturally, she could not speak.

But compared to the cruel and bloodthirsty wolf pack, Chu Xingyang's upright posture and gentle demeanor evidently made her feel familiar and safe, and she instantly felt Hope for survival.

Thus, in the big cat's ruby-like eyes, a pleading look appeared.

Her eyes were so big? They almost took up a quarter of her face. Chu Xingyang was full of emotion and also faintly regretted getting too close to her; having just become the Creator, it was hard for him to ignore the extreme yearning for survival in those large, sparkling eyes.

At this very moment, the wolf pack also caught the scent of the big cat. The alpha wolf let out a howl, and the dozen or so wolves immediately charged toward her.

With nothing to rely on, she could only stand up and press tightly against the side of the stranger who had suddenly appeared like a god.

Chu Xingyang sighed helplessly, thinking he might as well use this to familiarize himself with his ability, "Gravity Manipulation."

He lifted his right hand slightly and exerted force toward the snowy ground. In an instant, a dozen or so snowballs floated up from the ground, hovering motionless in mid-air.

Then, with a grasping motion of his fingers, the snowballs spontaneously compressed inward. In the blink of an eye, the dozen or so snowballs turned into solid blocks of ice.

Chu Xingyang waved his right arm, and the ice blocks shot out like fired cannonballs, each one accurately striking beside every wolf.

The snow splattered up from the ground covered all the wolves' faces, and seeing that the situation was bad, the wolf pack immediately scattered and fled at high speed.

The rescued big cat immediately rushed gratefully into the arms of her savior.

Unfortunately, Chu Xingyang was just a consciousness projection at this moment and had no physical form. Having pounced on nothing, she scratched her face with her paw, looking anxious and disappointed.

The system chimed at this moment.

【Reward Skill: Switch to Physical Form】

Huh? This is also a reward?

Chu Xingyang immediately used his newly acquired skill.

Whoosh! A flash of golden light almost blinded the big cat's ruby-like eyes. At this moment, the big cat was certain that the savior before her was a deity!

Chu Xingyang felt that his body had only truly returned at this moment.

He opened his mouth wide and breathed.

The icy air of the snowfield traveled from his mouth and nose, through his throat, and into his lungs. Then, the exhaled hot air swirled before his eyes. This feeling was truly amazing!

It's all back, my body is all back.

Chu Xingyang touched his clothes, feeling the texture of the fabric. This was the sensation of being human; now, he had truly and genuinely become a human.

He looked happy, but soon felt his face being chilled by the cold wind.

Should he switch back to the consciousness projection? Looking at the furry body beside him, he hesitated for a moment before moving closer.

So soft! So warm!

The thick, soft fur rubbed gently against his face; the feeling was simply indescribable.

Chu Xingyang immersed himself in the warm and soft paradise, his face constantly rubbing against the big cat's belly.

Suddenly, he felt two elastic lumps rubbing against the top of his head.

Only then did he leave her belly and straighten up. Oh, it was covered by fur. But you are indeed a newly adult and plump female human.

"Then, let me rub your paws." Chu Xingyang stroked the big cat's fleshy cat paws, looking satisfied: "I'll call you Sweet Dumpling."

Although the big cat could not speak, she seemed to understand Chu Xingyang's few words. When she heard the name "Sweet Dumpling," she actually nodded quite satisfactorily.

"Good! My Sweet Dumpling!" Chu Xingyang rubbed her fluffy big ears and carefully observed her appearance.

Ruby-like, super-large eyes, incredibly long eyelashes and a big tail, and a slightly protruding, somewhat cute mouth.

Except for her mouth, the top of her head, ears, and eye circles, which were different colors, everything else was white.

Was this what some people in his first life called Furry or Cat-eared Girls?

Chu Xingyang was a bit confused. He had only heard his roommates talk about it, but he himself knew nothing about these things.

However, judging by his human aesthetic, Sweet Dumpling was quite cute!
