19: The emergence of top billionaires

Julia hadn't expected to pin Qin Yun down on the bed.

Her entire body was pressed against Qin Yun's, their faces inches apart. The position was extremely intimate, and she froze instantly.

Only then did Qin Yun realize that Julia's figure was surprisingly good.

Her chest was bountiful and incredibly soft.

Julia had her eyes closed, looking as if she were there for the taking, which made his heart race.

However, fearing a misunderstanding, he didn't dare move.

This lasted for about half a minute.

Feeling Qin Yun's urgent, warm breath, Julia finally came to her senses.

"I, I..."

Not knowing what to say in such a situation, she simply pushed herself up and ran out with a flushed face.

Qin Yun placed the wine glass and the bottle on the nightstand, caught between laughter and tears.

With such a low tolerance, Julia still wanted to drink?

But her figure really was amazing.

Qin Yun spent the whole night reminiscing about what happened; even while eating the next day, he couldn't forget those sultry images.

However, he didn't let it show on his face, afraid of making things awkward for Julia.

"I'm free today, so why don't we go look at houses? It's about time I moved out."

Qin Yun spoke casually, breaking the awkward silence.

Although Julia was usually quite lively around people she knew, she felt embarrassed about what had happened the previous night.

"Sure, there's an agency nearby. We can go check if there's anything suitable in a bit."

Julia pulled herself together and regained her usual liveliness.

After finishing breakfast and coffee, Julia and Qin Yun went to the nearby neighborhood to look at houses.

As they walked, they found a Secondhand Store at a fork in the road.

There was no one in front of the door, creating a sharp contrast with the relatively bustling shops nearby. This sparked an idea in Qin Yun's mind about opening his own shop.

Although business at the shop was dismal, the location was good. He could investigate whether it was worth buying.

The two entered the shop. Sparse musical instruments hung on the walls, and the center was quite empty, with only one or two shelves tucked in the corners.

A middle-aged man with messy hair was leaning over the counter, writing something.

Hearing them enter, the man only looked up at the two of them briefly. With no intention of greeting them, he scratched the back of his head and continued writing.

Qin Yun understood.

No wonder this Secondhand Store's business was failing. With a boss like this and such a limited selection of items, it would be strange if business were good.

Julia knew a bit about musical instruments. After looking around and finding that the items weren't bad—some were even high-quality—she asked curiously.

"Boss, the items in your shop are quite good. Why aren't there any price tags?"

Seeing that the two didn't look like musicians, the boss hadn't bothered with them. But hearing someone praise the instruments in the shop, he finally put down his pen.

"Those who like them will naturally buy them; those who aren't the right fit won't buy them no matter what."

"Anyway, I'm not really interested in the secondhand business. I'm only doing this to inherit the family business. My true pursuit is music!"

The old man answered casually and then lost interest in continuing the conversation with Qin Yun.

"Then, would it be possible to transfer the shop to me?"

Qin Yun asked tentatively.

"I'm not short on money, so this shop isn't for sale. But do you know about the Jackson music manuscripts that have been going viral lately?"

The old man asked with a hint of interest.

Qin Yun and Julia shared a knowing look and smiled.

"I've heard of them."

Hearing Qin Yun's answer, the shop owner became excited.

"If you can get me one of Jackson's manuscripts, I'm willing to trade the shop for it. I'll even give you everything in the shop as well."

Qin Yun hadn't expected this condition and almost laughed out loud.

"Sure, that's a very fair deal."

While getting a Jackson manuscript was incredibly difficult for others, it was the simplest thing in the world for him.

The shop owner didn't believe Qin Yun could get a Jackson manuscript, but he still held onto a sliver of hope.

"The manuscripts have caused quite a stir, and many people will be fighting for them. There's a significant markup right now, so it's best to act within your means!"

The manuscripts would surely be auctioned off together. It was hard enough for ordinary people to even see them, let alone snatch them away and buy one from Tycoons who were never short on cash.

Hearing the shop owner say this, Qin Yun felt a good deal of goodwill toward him.

"Thanks for the warning. I'll keep that in mind."

He looked around the shop that would soon belong to him and bid the owner farewell.

Julia hadn't expected Qin Yun to have such good luck.

"Congratulations! This shop is in great condition!"

Having a shop would give him more options in Warehouse Auctions, and Qin Yun's treasure-hunting career could reach new heights.

After discussing how to use the shop for a while, they continued to the real estate agency.

Before they had walked a hundred meters, Qin Yun's phone rang. It was Tom, the owner of the Auction House.

"A big fish has arrived at the Auction House, and his offer is very high. Come over and take a look."

"Alright, I'm on my way."

Qin Yun hadn't expected Tom to find a suitable buyer so quickly. Given how urgent his voice sounded, it seemed this big shot was putting quite a bit of pressure on him.

Otherwise, Tom would surely have waited for the highest bidder, milking Jackson's fame for all it was worth before selling.

The two drove to the Auction House. As soon as they reached the parking lot, they saw a sea of people.

There were also many security guards in uniform patrolling the area.

At the entrance of the Auction House, not only had security checkpoints been added, but there were also several armed personnel controlling the number of people inside.

Only when customers came out would the corresponding number of people be allowed in.

Seeing this, Qin Yun couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

Tom had set everything up quite professionally, and with such a large-scale operation, letting him handle things should be worth it.

An employee, who had been ordered by the boss to wait at the door, saw Qin Yun arrive and quickly led the two of them to the office.

As soon as he entered the room, Qin Yun saw an elderly man in his fifties or sixties, wearing a custom-made high-end suit.

A jewel the size of a pigeon egg hung around his neck, a gold watch glittered on his wrist, and all his accessories were luxury items.

The handle of his cane was encrusted with diamonds, with one in the center shining brilliantly like a pearl on a crown.

On both sides of the door, elite bodyguards in suits stood watch.

Behind the elderly man, a butler and servants attended to him.

Tom sat opposite the old man. Although his face was covered in smiles, there was a layer of sweat on his forehead; he looked very nervous.

Everything indicated that this old man's identity was extraordinary.

Seeing this person, Julia looked excited and whispered a reminder in Qin Yun's ear.

"This is the top Tycoon I mentioned. He should have Allen's basketball cards."

Seeing the two enter, the elderly man stood up excitedly to welcome them.

"You're the Eastern Kid? You certainly are handsome and extraordinary!"

His voice was hearty and full of presence.

Then he looked at a servant and barked, "What are you standing there for? Light a Cuban cigar for Mr. Qin!"
