37: Parts everywhere, all treasures
The Treasure Hunters on the scene were not in a good mood after seeing Qin Yun snap up the third warehouse for ten thousand dollars.
They had no idea about the ming dynasty furniture at all.
Thinking Qin Yun was just hyping himself up, they felt somewhat helpless being used as background characters.
In their minds, they relied on warehouses to make money, while Qin Yun relied on hype; they weren't even competing in the same race.
Many Treasure Hunters felt indignant and stayed behind, waiting to see Qin Yun make a fool of himself.
"This kid is definitely going to lose money. The two warehouses he won are filled with nothing but trash; at most, they can be sold as scrap."
"It seems the Eastern Kid is all talk. His strength is definitely lacking. I wonder if he'll film the unboxing of these two warehouses and post it online?"
"Definitely not. If there's nothing good inside, that kid is thick-skinned enough to act like nothing happened."
"But we can post what happens here online and expose Qin Yun's hypocritical side!"
"Right, let's do that. Once everyone sees that Qin Yun has no skill, they'll despise this shameless behavior!"
...They had already decided that the two warehouses Qin Yun won were full of junk.
They planned to step forward and mock him once he gave up on inspecting them.
And while they were at it, drive him out of the Treasure Hunting Circle.
Because the Treasure Hunting Circle didn't need a guy who relied on hype!
Qin Yun didn't care about the crowd's chatter. What he was curious about now was why the parts piled on the ground had a green treasure light.
He walked into the warehouse and headed straight for the parts in the corner.
After putting on gloves, Qin Yun began to inspect the condition of the parts.
Wondering if something was hidden inside.
He found nothing.
It was just a pile of blackened parts, but they didn't look broken; the black was just a layer of engine oil.
There was an old engine inside; if it still worked, it might be worth a few dollars.
Qin Yun began to feel puzzled.
The treasure light for this kind of junk should be gray.
Could something be wrong with his Profound Vision Treasure Eye?
The Treasure Hunters thought Qin Yun would come out in a fit of rage, but instead, they saw him rummaging through a pile of junk parts.
"That warehouse is definitely a loss. It's full of trash, what's there to look at?"
"Is he still not giving up, dreaming of finding something good in that trash? He's delusional!"
"I think the Eastern Kid not only likes hype but also can't face reality. He won't be able to handle this blow, will he?"
"With that kind of mental state, he's hyping himself? I think he should just crawl back into bed and cry!"
"Haha, well said. He's this heartbroken over five hundred dollars; I wonder what his face will look like when he sees the ten-thousand-dollar warehouse?"
...Seeing Qin Yun staring blankly at a pile of trash was very satisfying for everyone.
It was better for a guy like him, who relied on hype, to lose everything.
Hearing the crowd's mockery, Julia gritted her teeth in anger.
She still wanted to believe in Qin Yun and hoped to find something valuable in the pile of parts to slap everyone's faces.
Ignoring the mess, she followed Qin Yun and began flipping through the parts.
She found a car emblem, a lightning bolt passing through the two capital letters "HD".
Wildly joyful, she quickly waved to Qin Yun.
"Qin, come look! There's a Harley emblem here!"
Harley is a famous motorcycle brand. Upon discovering it, Julia immediately shared the good news with Qin Yun.
When Qin Yun heard about the Harley emblem, he instantly guessed what was going on.
So these were harley motorcycle parts; no wonder there was a green treasure light.
Thinking of this, Qin Yun looked at the pile of parts on the ground again.
They were all different, as if they could be assembled into a motorcycle.
"These are very likely the disassembled parts of a Harley bike!"
"If they can be assembled into a complete Harley bike, with this much history, it would be an antique vehicle and definitely worth a lot of money."
Qin Yun finally understood everything.
There was nothing wrong with his Profound Vision Treasure Eye.
Original Harley parts were already valuable. After so many years, they were likely out of production, and dedicated Collectors would surely pay much more than the original price.
The green treasure light made sense now.
If they could really assemble a complete, drivable Harley bike...
It could be said they'd struck it rich.
In the eyes of a Harley Collector, this would be a rare treasure.
Julia and Qin Yun both smiled knowingly, thinking of the antique Harley bike.
They got the warehouse for five hundred dollars.
It was an absolute steal!
Excitedly, Julia jumped onto Qin Yun and gave him a tight hug.
Both of their clothes were instantly blackened.
She was simply too happy to care about anything else at that moment.
Seeing her clothes covered in black engine oil, she laughed even harder.
All the surrounding Treasure Hunters had misjudged it; only Qin Yun saw the value of the warehouse.
Her previous judgment was correct; Qin Yun's skill was indeed superior to the others!
Julia really wanted to shout at the people who had mocked Qin Yun earlier.
"You were wrong!"
"In Warehouse Auctions, you aren't even one percent as good as Qin Yun!"
The onlookers saw the two of them suddenly become happy.
Especially Julia, who looked like she was losing her mind with joy; they were all completely bewildered.
"What's going on? Did she go crazy because she couldn't handle the blow?"
"Who knows, maybe she's just having a breakdown?"
"Do they really think they can make their money back from this warehouse? That's quite pitiful."
"That's not all; there's still a ten-thousand-dollar junk warehouse waiting for them."
...Hearing the disrespectful comments from the onlookers, Julia could no longer bear it.
She walked out holding the harley motorcycle emblem.
She flashed it before everyone's eyes and then put it away, waiting to see their reactions.
Seeing Julia walk over so cheerfully, the Treasure Hunters felt a sense of unease.
Those with sharp eyes and quick reactions recognized the Harley emblem and immediately cried out.
"My God, what happened? It's a Harley!"
"Good Lord, am I seeing this right? How can there be a Harley emblem in there?"
"How can a junk warehouse have an early Harley emblem?"
...Harley-Davidson is a legendary name; as Treasure Hunters, how could they not recognize it?
Then, realizing there were harley motorcycle parts inside, they were deeply shocked.
In the eyes of motorcycle enthusiasts, Harley-Davidson is the pinnacle.
Every single one is highly sought after.
There was once a fifty-year-old Harley that sold for the staggering price of fifty thousand dollars.
Hearing the exclamations, the Treasure Hunters on the scene finally realized what had happened.
The Eastern Kid had actually found harley motorcycle parts in the first warehouse.
"My God, wasn't it just a pile of junk? How could it be harley motorcycle parts?"
"The Eastern Kid bought it for five hundred dollars; did he see something unusual about the warehouse long ago?"
"How can he be so incredible? You shouldn't be able to see anything from the outside!"
"Could it be that the Eastern Kid isn't just hype, but actually has real skill?"
"I think so. He found so many good things in such a short time: the Blackbeard flintlock, the golden generation draft card, Jackson's Dance Costumes... it's not just luck."
"Many Treasure Hunters can't find even one or two precious treasures in a lifetime. It seems the Eastern Kid has real talent."
"We were blinded by jealousy. With a record like that, how could it be hype?"
"If he can really assemble a complete harley motorcycle, it would be legendary."
"Do you think we all misjudged the third warehouse too? The Eastern Kid paid ten thousand dollars for it; there might be something even more valuable inside!"
...Thinking they had missed out on two precious warehouses, everyone felt deep regret.
If only they had bought that first warehouse themselves.
The big shots from the collection world who had been watching earlier thought this Warehouse Auction would yield nothing.
They were about to leave, but stopped in their tracks when they heard the crowd's cheers.
Once they understood what had happened, their gazes toward Qin Yun were filled with disbelief.
They had actually misjudged him and underestimated Qin Yun.
Thinking the Eastern Kid was just hype.
They didn't expect to be slapped in the face so hard.
Qin Yun had actually won a warehouse containing harley motorcycle parts.
The Collectors' curiosity was piqued.
They wanted to see what would be in the warehouse the Eastern Kid paid ten thousand dollars for.
If there were good things inside, they wouldn't mind taking the initiative to make friends with Qin Yun.
