36: Chapter 36 Chu Ge brutally beats up the perverted man
After finishing his cigarette, Chu Ge walked back inside just as the group of braggarts finally started getting down to actual work.
Yanjing took off his obviously oversized trench coat, revealing a gray turtleneck sweater underneath, and began warming up first.
Then he started instructing several dance teachers who were already quite skilled.
Chu Ge watched from the side. Although he didn't like this guy much, the man clearly had some technical skills. In just a few tens of minutes, the teachers' movements were already looking decent.
"We have to admit, when it comes to H-country entertainment, girl groups, and variety shows, there are still things we can learn from them."
Chu Ge thought to himself.
An hour later, the basic choreography for the backup dancers was roughed out. Yanjing told them to practice it first.
Then he called Nazha over to begin instructing her privately.
Dilireba Nazha had a decent sense of stage presence and picked things up fairly quickly. Watching from below, Chu Ge felt his blood pumping.
Especially during a few high-leg kicks, where Dilireba Nazha's long legs displayed their sexiness to the fullest...
Just as Chu Ge was squinting his eyes admiring those long legs, he suddenly noticed Yanjing's hand stroking Nazha's thigh, although the movement was very discreet.
Dilireba Nazha's expression faltered slightly for a moment, but she didn't dwell on it and continued dancing under Yanjing's direction.
The song ended. Dilireba Nazha rested for a bit before getting back on stage to continue practicing.
This time, Chu Ge kept a sharp eye out, paying special attention to Yanjing's hands.
Sure enough, when they reached the high-leg kick section, Yanjing pulled the same trick again.
"Damn it!"
If Chu Ge could tolerate this, he wouldn't be a real man. He suddenly stood up, took two large strides, and jumped onto the stage.
He kicked out immediately. With Chu Ge's large build kicking the 170cm scrawny Yanjing, it was like an adult beating up a child.
"Ah! Sibal!" Accompanied by the H-country national curse, Yanjing was sent flying through the air before crashing heavily onto the floor.
Dilireba Nazha was already very angry and was just about to warn Yanjing. The next second, a foot flew into view, and then Yanjing went flying away.
Seeing that it was Chu Ge who had acted, she felt a bit stunned, a little happy, and then just stood there at a loss.
The most stunned were Sister Li and the assistants Yanjing had brought with him.
"Ouch, sibal, ouch."
Yanjing's pained groans rang out. Only then did his assistants snap out of it and rush over, scrambling to help him up.
Holding his waist, Yanjing pointed a finger at Chu Ge, his face twisted in a grimace, spewing a torrent of incomprehensible foreign gibberish.
"Who are you? You brute, assaulting an international friend. Do you realize what you've done? You're in big trouble. We're going to report you!"
The translator beside him frantically translated the words.
Chu Ge lunged right up to Yanjing, raising his fist as if to strike again.
"Say one more word. What were your filthy hands doing? Did you think no one could see?"
Chu Ge glared fiercely but didn't actually follow through with the punch.
Seeing Chu Ge raise his fist, Yanjing instinctively raised both hands to block. When nothing happened next, he assumed Chu Ge didn't dare. After a moment's thought, he regained his bravado.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Physical contact is unavoidable when teaching dance. You suspect me? Do you have proof? If not, then you just wait. I'll make you pay for that kick, you *** Huaxia person!"
It seemed this Yanjing was an old hand. He knew his discreet movements, even if caught on surveillance, would likely be unclear.
Hearing that last part, Chu Ge's anger flared up again. He rolled up his sleeves, ready to thoroughly beat this cur while he was down...
Sister Li and Nazha quickly pulled him back and walked aside. Sister Li anxiously asked,
"What's going on? How did such a big mess happen the moment I wasn't watching?"
"Sister Li, it's... it's not Chu Ge's fault. That man's hands weren't behaving."
Dilireba Nazha hurriedly explained the situation to Sister Li.
"How... how could such a thing happen? This dance instructor, Mr. Choi... the person who introduced him said his reputation was quite good, and he's very famous in H-country!"
"Hmph, 'quite good' is relative, I suppose. Over there, they're probably used to it!"
Chu Ge snorted with a cold laugh.
"Young Chu, you were impulsive too! When this happened, you should have come to me first. I wouldn't have let Nazha be taken advantage of for nothing. By resorting to violence, even if you were in the right, it becomes wrong. This will probably be difficult to negotiate now! If we're not careful, if they call the police, it could cause unnecessary trouble."
Sister Li looked at Chu Ge and spoke with concern. She knew Nazha had feelings for this young man. As her manager, protecting Chu Ge now meant protecting her own artist.
Chu Ge remained silent.
"What if they call the police?"
Dilireba Nazha was the one getting anxious now. She hadn't expected things to escalate to this point.
As the three of them were talking, that arrogant translator came over.
"Our Dance Instructor Choi says he has done nothing wrong. Now, here's the situation. I have a few suggestions for you to consider."
"First, we can choose not to call the police. But this violent man must offer a sincere apology. If you still want us to continue, the contract fee must be increased by an additional 300,000 huaxia currency. That would be fair for everyone."
"And the second option?"
Chu Ge smiled and asked.
"Or, we call the police and let them handle it. We will request that the perpetrator provide financial compensation. As for the cooperation, of course, we will still fulfill the contract!"
Then the translator turned to face Chu Ge.
"Brother, you were too impulsive. From what I know, our country deals quite severely with unprovoked assaults. Not to mention Instructor Choi is an international friend. No matter how you look at it, you won't get away with this!"
He finished speaking, looking at Chu Ge with a thin, insincere smile.
"Holy shit, so you're Huaxian after all. What a devoted and dutiful little lackey you are!"
"You! Fine, just you wait!"
"Hold on, don't be in such a hurry, my good little lackey. I have a third proposal. Tell that perverted H-country scum to get the hell out of Huaxia. He shouldn't think about taking a single cent. We will truthfully report his despicable behavior today to the relevant Huaxia authorities, so all female artists in Huaxia can beware of this lecher. As for the future, he can forget about making any more money in Huaxia!"
"Oh, and about calling the police? Go ahead, do whatever you want. Justice resides in people's hearts. I believe the police will handle this impartially!"
Chu Ge said all this in one breath. Sister Li tugged at his sleeve in the middle, but he ignored her. He had already made up his mind.
The translator's face flushed red, then paled. He hadn't expected Chu Ge, who looked all brawn, to be so sharp-tongued.
"Fine, very good. Sister Li, is this your company's attitude as well?"
"I..."
Before Sister Li could speak, Chu Ge shook his head at her, then nodded. Seeing this, Sister Li fell silent.
"Alright, you just wait!"
The translator finished speaking and hurried back to the group of H-country people, probably to badmouth Chu Ge and his friends.
After a good while, he came scurrying back, fully embodying the professional ethics of a lackey.
"Our Instructor Choi has already called the police. You just wait. Let's see how much longer you can strut around! Hmph!"
After saying this, he hastily ran back, afraid Chu Ge might lose control again and vent his anger on him.
"Chu Ge, what do we do? They called the police!"
Dilireba Nazha anxiously grabbed Chu Ge's hand, her eyes filled with concern.
"Don't worry, Nazha. I have some connections in Yanjing. If necessary, I'll cash in a few favors. It shouldn't be a big problem. What I'm worried about now is your performance tonight."
"If it gets messed up and you offend the sponsors, then your future..."
"Sigh!"
Sister Li didn't finish her sentence, just heaved a sigh.
"Nazha's performance will go on as scheduled. As for the choreographer, I'll handle it!"
Chu Ge said slowly, looking at Dilireba Nazha with gentle eyes.
