Chapter 220: More classes

After several minutes of lecture, Alex had gotten a new understanding of mana and how it worked, they had also copied a lot of materials that they could study on their own later.Ellie also told them that if they had any questions or were confused about something, they could come look for her later and she would explain it to them.

"That will be all for today’s class. Now take a look at the board." Ellie said and everyone looked ahead.

On the board, words began to appear rapidly; it was the timetable for first-year students.

The various classes were scattered across the week, some appearing throughout the five days of learning, while some only appeared on some days.

Ellie told the students to quickly memorise the timetable or copy it down so they could remember when they would need to attend classes.

Alex also wrote down the timetable even though he had already memorised it with a single glance.

From the timetable, he still needed to attend three more classes for the day, and his next class was spell structure, which was a private class for only students with the space element.

Since they were done with today’s learning in the general mana knowledge class, the students all left for their next class.

Reaching outside, Alex went in search of the space element spell structure hall. He soon found it after looking around for a bit and entered.

Alex was shocked to find out that he had over fifty classmates in this class. He didn’t expect other students with the space element to be so many, some of them had even reached the Expert mage rank!

Their instructor was a woman who looked like she was in her early thirties, she was a space mage as well and was at the Archmage rank.

She introduced herself as instructor Bree.

The first thing that instructor Bree did after the students settled down was to call an attendance just like Ellie had done earlier. The students stood up one after the other and announced their names, the names then magically appeared on the file that instructor Bree had brought out.o even notice unless there was a mage nearby.

That was all they learnt in the general magic knowledge class that day. It was useful information, especially to Alex because his sister was going to awaken soon.

He planned to go back before that time and check if she was showing signs because, apparently, showing signs before awakening meant that the chances of awakening successfully were very high.

After all, they had learned that it was still possible to fail the awakening even though one had shown these signs.

Showing the signs just greatly increased the odds and made it nearly impossible to fail; there was only a 0.1% chance of failure.

Some time later, General Magic’s knowledge class ended, and it was time for Alex’s last class for the day.

This was only for Alex by the way. Other students still had other classes after their fourth class.

As for Alex, he only had four classes on Monday, the rest of the week, however, was different.

There was even a day when he had to attend all of the classes that he had picked because they appeared that day. Luckily, they didn’t overlap with each other so attending all of them was possible.

For his fourth class today, Alex had the basic formation knowledge class.

Alex arrived at the hall where his last class for the day was going to take place. He was about to push the door open when a burst of light flashed on the door and the words "full" appeared on it.

Alex was stunned for a moment to see the formation on the door. As expected of a class teaching about formation, it wasn’t surprising for them to use it in such a way.

This meant that this hall had reached its capacity of students and Alex should go to another hall. There were many students, and it was surprising that many of them had chosen to learn about formation.

Since there were other halls for this class, Alex didn’t mind and went to another hall where basic formation knowledge was being taught.

Luckily, this hall wasn’t filled up when Alex arrived and there was still space for more students to come in. He took a seat and waited for class to start.

Some time later, the instructor appeared in front of the class using a formation. This startled the students but also got them excited, as expected of an instructor who was teaching about formations!

Alex recognised this instructor as well. He was the one who was controlling the formation during their admission test, Instructor Henry.

"Let’s begin, but first...we’ll take attendance."
