Chapter 259: The plan.

The person who had spoken was a tall handsome middle aged man with long black hair held up with a hairpin and he wore a traditional Chinese robe, sharp eyebrows and fierce eyes that locked on Alex’s mask.On top of that, he was also a Saint rank mage. From his looks, Alex could instantly tell that this person was from the third continent that Maria had talked about.

Could the third continent be like Asia from his old world?

The tent instantly fell into silence as everyone else waited for Alex’s response.

After a moment of silence, Alex replied in a crooked voice.

"I am not from any Chen family, and the continent I’m from is none of your concern."

He refrained from saying too much because he didn’t want to be seen through. It was easy for him to fool those weaker than him but this was his first time being in the gathering of so many Saint rank mages, he didn’t want to risk getting discovered.

Not like they could do anything to him even if they found out anyways.

"Arrogant!" The middle aged man with the hairpin snorted and released a burst of mana from his body, almost destroying the tent.

’Is he going to fight me?’ Alex thought, not scared in the slightest.

"That’s enough!" A loud voice sounded at this moment.

Everyone’s eyes turned to the source of the voice, it was the dark skinned man who had asked about Maria and Alex previously.

"We’re currently here for an important reason and not to fight amongst ourselves. It doesn’t matter what continent he’s from or what name he carries, what matters is that he’s here to help.

Anything else can wait after this operation is over, understood?" The man voiced out with a piercing gaze that mostly roamed the face of the middle aged man with long black hair.

"Tch!" The other party clicked his tongue and looked away, not saying another world.

This surprised Alex, this dude from the third continent actually listened so easily?

Maybe this dark skinned fellow was from the first or second continent?

’That should be the case,’ Alex came to a conclusion.

After the issue with the Saint mage from the third continent was resolved, the meeting officially started.

"We have already tried sneaking into the camp of the magic beasts and killing the three eyed spider lord but that didn’t work as the spider lord is too powerful and the battle quickly attracted the attention of its Calamity rank soldiers.

Launching a frontier attack is also proved to be pointless as the army of the spider lord is just too large and powerful.

Ignoring those at the transformed rank, the five hundred plus Divine rank spider soldiers and one hundred Calamity rank spider Generals are the real obstacles."

Everyone started to speak on the problem facing the completion of this operation and giving suggestions, but each suggestion was instantly met with problems that were most likely to occur.

They even suggested luring out the Divine rank spider lords and Calamity rank spider Generals so that they could kill them one after the other.

Since only Saint rank spells could really damage and even kill Calamity rank magic beasts, the Saint rank mages were the core of all these plans while the Sorcerer rank and other mages present in camp were just baits to lure out the beasts.

But the problem was that Divine rank and Calamity rank magic beasts were no less intelligent than humans, they would only make a move when they noticed a Saint rank mage and simply ignore everyone else.

If the mages proved persistent, they would just overwhelm them with transformed ranked spider soldiers until the Saints showed up.

After listening for minutes, Alex realised the major problem that the seven continents were facing against the spider lord.

The time it needed for them to prepare Saint rank spells and their mana reserve!

Unlike Alex who could instantly unleash Saint rank spells without worrying about running out of mana thanks to his system.

The other Saint rank mages needed some time to connect the thousands of stars for a single Saint rank spell. On top of that, since they couldn’t regenerate mana like Alex, the number of spells that they could cast was limited.

Since that was the case...

"I have a suggestion," Alex voiced out. Everyone instantly turned to look at him, including Lucas and Maria.

Maria had eyes full of hope, she had faith in Mr Chen compared to the other Saint rank mages and was certain that he could do something about their situation.

"Please speak freely," the dark skinned Saint rank mage urged.

"Leave the three eyed spider lord and the one hundred Calamity rank spider Generals to me, can you all take care of the rest?" Alex stated.

Everyone "..."

The tent was silent for a long time after Alex voiced out the "suggestion" that he had, even Maria was staring at him in shock.

She had faith in him but this was madness. He was only a single person, how could he deal with something that seven Saints couldn’t handle?

"Preposterous! What is the meaning of this? You think you can take care of something that the seven of us couldn’t handle, do you think you are stronger than all of us?" The Saint mage from the third continent was pissed and was on the verge of exploding from anger.

The other Saint rank mages including Lucas all had strange looks on their faces also, they felt that this suggestion was ridiculous and slightly insulting to them.

The only one who didn’t show a similar expression was the dark skinned Saint mage who was currently staring at Alex’s mask with a serious expression, he was seriously considering Mr Chen’s suggestion.

"This joker can’t be serious, how are we even sure he’s a Saint since he’s hiding his identity and rank? For all we know, he might be a spy from the Dark Union to ruin this operation!"

The Saint from the third continent continued to spout words of anger, it seemed like he really disliked Mr Chen.

After thinking hard for some time, the dark skinned Saint mage finally opened his mouth.

"Mr Chen, how confident are you regarding your plan?" He asked.

His question instantly caused the Saint mage from the third continent to fall silent, everyone looked at him as if he was crazy.

Was he really going to consider Mr Chen’s ridiculous plan?

But the man didn’t seem bothered by their stares as his attention was fully focused on Alex’s mask.

"A hundred percent," Alex declared.

"I understand, we’ll take care of the Divine rank and transformed rank spider soldiers, we’ll leave the three eyed spider lord and the others to you." the dark skinned Saint mage said with a sigh.

He rubbed his forehead and then said with a faint smile.

"Sorry for not introducing myself earlier, I’m Femi from the first continent, you should come by sometime after this operation." The dark skinned Saint mage introduced himself.

"I’ll keep that in mind," Alex nodded while at the same time thinking ’Yep, that’s definitely an African name. So he’s from the first continent, no wonder he was able to make the other dude from the third continent listen to him.’

"All right, that’s all for this meeting. Let’s gather our forces, we move out in an hour!" Femi announced.
