Zoran spent some time explaining everything that had happened to Mr Chen, while the others remained silent and waited for Mr Chen to say something.After listening to everything Zoran said, Alex turned to Mia and the principal of Emily’s school and asked them what they thought of the situation.

"According to what Mr Zoran had said, after Emily successfully awakened the space element, it looked like she was about to awaken a second element but I don’t recognise that glow belonging to any element.

When I processed to check the situation in her soul sea, I only found the stars of the space element. So forgive me, Mr Chen, I don’t have enough knowledge or experience to talk on this matter." The old man said with a regretful and embarrassed tone.

Mia only lowered her head slightly without saying anything, silently indicating that she was in the same situation as the old mage.

Alex stayed silent and thought of the old Mage’s response. It appears that his plan had worked perfectly, and the old Mage believed that Emily had only awakened one element.

After seeing the items that he would need to gather to fix Emily’s soul sea, Alex immediately got the feeling that they would be difficult to find.

Adding the fact that the old mage had already stated that Emily only awakened one element, and Mr Chen being a popular, powerful figure, everyone immediately believed him and accepted his explanation.

But this sent everyone present into a state of shock as they stared at Emily. She was so talented that the elements were fighting over which one would be her element?

Such a thing was unheard of and would easily drive other mages mad with jealousy!

"Mr Chen, is there a way to fix her soul sea?" Mia asked after some time.

"Yes, I’ll start gathering the materials once I leave. This might take some time; until then, make sure she doesn’t try to train in mana, as it might cause more harm to her soul sea.

Also, make sure a word of what happened here today doesn’t go out. If I hear even a whisper somewhere else...

I’ll find and kill all of you." Alex said with all seriousness as his gaze swept across the faces of everyone present except his parents and Alicia.

Mia and the others gulped, frightened by Mr Chen’s words.

They instantly swore not to even breathe a word outside. Freda and Zoran were also shocked by this, although Mr Chen didn’t direct these words at them, they understood that this matter must be very important and silently decided to keep it a secret as well.

As for Alicia, she knew that Alex was Mr Chen and wouldn’t do anything to make him come for her. Besides, she was fond of Emily and wouldn’t spread a secret that would affect her.

"Good, I’ll be leaving now," Alex said before using Void Walk to disappear.

After he left, Mia and the other mages finally let out a breath of relief. Seems like they had unknowingly been holding their breath after Mr Chen said he would kill them if they said a word of it outside.

’Hmm, so they don’t know of Mr Chen wanting to take their daughter as his student. I’d better keep quiet then,’ the old mage thought to himself.

At this moment, Alex returned.

"Alex, where did you go?" Mia asked, about to say that Mr Chen just left.

"I called my instructor at the Magic University to ask if it was possible to fix a broken soul sea," Alex said before Mia could finish her words.

Didn’t Mr Chen just warn them not to say a word of this to anyone else? He wouldn’t kill Alex too, right?

"Kid, did you tell your instructor about anything that happened here?" The old mage asked with worry for Alex’s safety.

"No, I didn’t say anything about Emily’s awakening. I told her that I was just curious." Alex answered.

Everyone immediately breathed in relief, they didn’t know how to explain to Alex that he just dodged a bullet.

"That was smart, so what did she say?" The old mage asked again.

"She said it was possible but very difficult," Alex replied.

Mia moved toward him and patted his shoulder before telling him not to worry about it anymore as Mr Chen had arrived while Alex was away.

Mr Chen had checked on Emily and said he would personally gather the items to fix her soul sea, so they could wait without worrying.

Alex immediately displayed a shocked face.

"Mr Chen was here?!" He asked.

His reaction was very convincing to the others, they told him that he would get the chance to see Mr Chen another time.

Alicia watched the entire scene with a blank face, knowing that Alex was Mr Chen made it difficult for her to watch Alex’s drama with a straight face, but she managed to pull through in the end.

After some time, everyone returned to their various places and left the family alone.

Emily was still unconscious and Alicia stayed beside her. Alex and his parents sat in the living room and discussed when Alex would return to the capital.
