122: Chapter 122 Diving into the Abyss

Chen Feng casually locked the door behind him and turned off all the lights in the suite.

The room was silent, with only the faint moonlight filtering through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting several long, distorted shadows on the thick carpet.

"Change here," Chen Feng said as he sat on the sofa.

Sarah didn't speak, only nodding silently. She pulled a set of black folded clothing from the seemingly ordinary briefcase. It was a special tight-fitting combat suit for the Umbrella Corporation's USS Security Force, made of a polymer material that was both bulletproof and capable of absorbing light to the maximum extent, making her look as if she were merging into the shadows when worn.

She nimbly changed into the gear right in front of Chen Feng.

The bodysuit outlined her powerful curves. A light tactical vest on her chest held a combat knife and three pistol magazines, while a silenced pistol rested in the holster on her thigh. Finally, she buckled on a full-face gas mask with red eyepieces.

The moment the red eyepieces reflected the moonlight, she was no longer a beautiful secretary, but a demon crawled out of hell.

"Is the signal synchronized?" Chen Feng pointed to his tablet.

"Synchronization complete, Boss," Sarah's voice came from behind the mask. "My visual signal will be transmitted to your terminal in real-time."

Sarah pulled open the balcony's floor-to-ceiling window and, like a light black cat, instantly flipped over the railing.

The height of the third floor was enough to cripple an ordinary person, but for Sarah, who had merged with the Ouroboros Virus, it was merely the distance of a single leap. She adjusted her posture in mid-air, tapped the wall's protrusions with her toes, and landed with almost no sound.

The patrol frequency on the island was high, with a squad of fully armed private soldiers passing by every five minutes.

Sarah moved quickly against the shadows of the villa's outer wall. With the enhancement of the Ouroboros Virus, her vision could clearly capture the trajectories of all infrared scanning lines. She avoided all surveillance blind spots, even sliding past a guard less than three meters behind him the moment he turned his head to light a cigarette.

"Boss, I've reached the door of the restricted zone from earlier today," Sarah reported in a low voice, stopping before a heavy alloy door.

This door was located in a rocky crevice behind the villa, an area Epstein had intentionally bypassed when he took them on a tour during the day. There were no markings on the door, only two Automatic Machine Gun Turrets slowly rotating.

"I see it." Chen Feng stared at the infrared image on the screen. "This door's security system is independent and not connected to the external network. A hard breach will trigger an island-wide alarm."

"No need for a hard breach."

Sarah reached out, pressing her palm against the cold alloy door gap.

A second later, several black tentacles sprouted from her wrist, forcing their way through the gaps in the electronic lock.

Accompanied by a faint sizzling sound, the circuit board inside the electronic lock was forcibly short-circuited.

*Click.*

The door silently slid open a crack.

Sarah slipped inside and closed the door behind her.

The scene behind the door was not the sci-fi laboratory one might imagine, but a long corridor. The air was filled with a stench that was a mixture of disinfectant and human waste.

Sarah frowned and walked further down the corridor.

On both sides of the corridor were rooms lined up closely together. The doors were fitted with thickened crystal glass observation windows. Looking through the windows, Sarah's heart suddenly constricted.

This was no collection room; this was a fucking living hell!

Every cell was decorated like a high-end ward, with soft carpets and even expensive leather sofas. But the people locked inside were all young girls under the age of twenty.

Some were barefooted and huddled in corners with empty, lifeless eyes; some were covered in deep purple bruises and cigarette burns. Most horrifyingly, each of them wore a black Electronic Collar around their neck, with a red light flashing to indicate its monitoring status.

"Beasts..." Sarah cursed under her breath.

She walked up to one of the cells and saw a girl who was only fourteen or fifteen years old.

The girl was curled up in a snow-white down duvet, her body shaking uncontrollably like she was sifting chaff.

As Sarah approached the glass, the girl seemed to sense something and suddenly looked up. In those eyes that should have been clear, there was now only endless terror. She didn't cry for help, but instinctively shrank deeper into the corner of the bed, trying to hide herself with the thin duvet.

"Boss, did you see that?" Sarah's voice came back to the villa suite through the communicator, suppressed with rage.

"I saw it." Chen Feng sat on the sofa, the cold light of the tablet screen reflecting on his face. "The surveillance system here is tighter than the perimeter. Don't startle them. The collars have pressure sensors; if their heart rate gets too high or they scream loudly, the guards will arrive immediately."

Sarah took a deep breath, forcing down the urge to draw her knife and rush in to chop those elites into pieces. She raised her hand, her fingertip sliding over a button on the side of her mask to switch the camera to panoramic mode, recording the tragic state of this row of cells without missing a single one.

Every frame of these images was ironclad evidence to send Epstein to the gallows.

"This is just the tip of the iceberg." Chen Feng swiped across the screen. The system had already begun reverse-analyzing the building blueprints of the entire island based on the signals Sarah transmitted back. "For an island of this scale, if it only held these dozen or so people, there would be no need for this level of signal jammer. Sarah, find the Data Center. We need the list—the list of everyone."

[System Prompt: High-intensity encrypted data stream detected, target directed at the core area of the third basement level.]

A 3D structural diagram appeared in Chen Feng's mind, with a flashing red dot marked below the elevator at the end of the corridor.

"It's right beneath your feet," Chen Feng ordered in a low voice. "There's a Freight Elevator at the end of the corridor that goes directly to the third basement level. It's used for transporting goods and supplies. The Data Center is there, containing the defense logic for the entire island and that old bastard's client list."

Without any hesitation, Sarah turned and vanished into the shadows of the corridor in a flash.

As she passed the last cell, the girl was staring blankly through the glass in the direction she had disappeared, her eyes seemingly filled with a glimmer of hope she hadn't even noticed herself.

Meanwhile, in the surveillance room on the second floor of the villa.

A Mercenary in combat gear was chewing gum, staring boredly at the screen. On the screen, Chen Feng and Sarah were "getting intimate" on the bed in the suite; the image was a bit blurry with some static, appearing like signal interference.

"Tsk tsk, this kid has some good stamina," the Mercenary laughed lewdly and turned to his companion. "It's been two hours and he hasn't stopped. That secretary looks smoking hot."

"He's in biopharmaceuticals after all, probably injected himself with a lot of drugs," his companion chuckled, completely unaware that the footage was merely a perfect loop generated by Chen Feng's system.

The real hunter had already reached the location of their heart.

Sarah reached the end of the corridor. The elevator doors here were made of pure stainless steel with no buttons, only a Retina Scanner.

"Boss, there's a biometric lock," Sarah stood before the elevator, the red light of her eyepieces flickering.

"Small problem." Chen Feng operated the tablet rapidly. "During the banquet earlier, I already had the system collect Epstein's biological information. Connect to your communication module, and I'll send the simulated signal over."

Sarah pulled a data cable from her wrist and plugged it directly into the maintenance port next to the scanner.

A few seconds later, the scanner emitted a soft beep, and a green light turned on.

"Beep—Identity Confirmed: Jeffrey Poestan."

The elevator doors slowly opened.

Sarah stepped into the elevator, and as the sensation of gravity vanished, she descended directly to the deepest part of the island.

When the elevator doors opened again, what appeared before her eyes was a massive cylindrical space. Countless blue fiber optic light strips were interwoven in the darkness, and a massive server array emitted a low hum. This was the brain of the entire Eden Island, storing secrets powerful enough to cause an earthquake in world politics.

"I'm here," Sarah said softly.

"Very good." Chen Feng's voice was tinged with excitement. "Connect the terminal, and leave the rest to me."

[Invading Data Center... Progress 1%... 5%...]

[Detecting large volume of video files and transfer records, establishing synchronous transmission link...]

"Sarah, guard that door." Chen Feng stared at the virtual screen, his gaze cold. "If anyone comes down, kill them without hesitation."

"Understood."
