254: Chapter 254 The Pre-meal Dessert of Binge Eating
"Which one do you want to eat?" Chen Feng looked over, following Mia's gaze.
Behind the explosion-proof glass was a whole row of high-pressure containment chambers. Inside were Umbrella's most cutting-edge conventional combat units currently available: Lickers, Hellhounds, and several newly rolled-off 3rd Generation Tyrant T-801s.
Mia raised her thin, slender arm and pointed to the third chamber.
Inside was a 3rd Generation Tyrant that stood two and a half meters tall, with bulging muscles and heavy bulletproof armor. This thing could tear an armored vehicle apart with its bare hands in Siberia.
"Boss," Sarah lowered her voice from the side, "That is a fully equipped T-801, costing 25 million USD."
"Consider it the factory testing fee for a new product." Chen Feng pulled over a chair, sat down, and tapped the console. "Open the door."
Samantha's eyes glowed with a green light as her fingers flew across the keyboard.
The heavy airlock of the third containment chamber rose upward.
"Roar—!"
The 3rd Generation Tyrant regained its freedom and let out a deafening roar. Its brain, implanted with a bio-chip, instantly locked onto the three living people in the operating room, and it charged forward with large strides.
Every step it took on the metal floor emitted a dull, booming sound.
Mia stood still. She tilted her head, watching this behemoth that was nearly twice her height.
The Tyrant rushed up close, raised its fist—which was larger than a cooking pot—and brought it crashing down toward Mia's head, accompanied by a gust of wind.
"Bang!"
A dull thud.
Chen Feng's expression shifted slightly.
Mia did not dodge. She raised her right hand and steadily caught the Tyrant's fist.
The immense impact caused the metal floor beneath Mia's feet to cave into a crater. However, her thin arm, which looked like it would snap at a touch, didn't even tremble.
"You've got quite a bit of strength." Mia's voice carried a metallic texture.
In the next second, the skin on her right arm instantly split open. Countless black viscous fluids gushed out from her pores, spreading along her arm, and in the blink of an eye, solidified into a pitch-black, razor-sharp giant blade.
Blacklight Virus mimetic weapon.
"Swish!"
The black blade swept upward.
The Tyrant's thick arm, capable of smashing through explosion-proof doors, along with a large chunk of bulletproof armor on its shoulder, was sliced off cleanly.
Dark red blood sprayed out.
The Tyrant felt no pain and swung its other hand, attempting to counterattack.
But Mia was faster than it. She opened her mouth.
This time, it wasn't a normal bite.
Hundreds of dark red blood filaments erupted from her mouth like a dense, airtight net, instantly binding the two-and-a-half-meter-tall Tyrant tightly. The tips of the blood filaments were extremely sharp, piercing directly through the Tyrant's bulletproof armor and digging into its flesh.
"Hiss, hiss, hiss—"
A teeth-grinding sound of dissolution rang out.
The Tyrant's massive body began to convulse violently. Those blood filaments were like high-powered pumps, crazily extracting the biomass and G-Virus residue from within the Tyrant.
In less than ten seconds.
The 3rd Generation Tyrant, which cost 25 million USD to build, turned into a shriveled human skin and a pile of inert skeletons, scattering onto the floor with a clatter.
Mia retracted the blood filaments and closed her mouth.
"Burp."
She let out a small, satisfied burp. Opening her mouth, with a "clang," she spat out an undigested titanium alloy chip board, which fell to the ground.
The black giant blade receded, turning back into a fair, slender arm.
She turned around to look at Chen Feng; her pitch-black left eye and eerie green right eye slowly returned to a normal amber color. Her originally withered hair had grown to shoulder length, dark and shiny.
At this moment, she looked like a healthy, pretty, and even slightly frail fourteen-year-old girl.
If one ignored the pile of debris on the floor.
"Data! I want data!" Samantha was jumping up and down with excitement on the side.
Data cascaded down the large screen like a waterfall.
"Cellular activity is stable! No signs of genetic collapse! She perfectly digested the Tyrant's biomass!" Samantha stared at the screen, speaking rapidly, "The absorption efficiency is three times higher than Nightmare! Boss, she isn't a container; she is a living black hole!"
Chen Feng stood up and walked over to Mia.
Mia looked up at him.
"Are you full?" Chen Feng asked.
"Seventy percent full," Mia answered honestly.
Chen Feng reached out, pinched her chin, and forced her to lift her head.
"Remember three things." Chen Feng looked into her eyes, his tone calm but devoid of warmth. "First, I am your boss. Second, without my orders, you are not to eat anything. Third, if I discover you eating things randomly, I will cut you into a thousand pieces, stuff you into a freezer, and let you starve forever."
Mia looked at Chen Feng. She could feel that this man before her did not possess that kind of terrifying viral power within him.
But she felt an instinctive fear.
That was absolute suppression engraved in her genes. The underlying logic bound by the system made it impossible for her to even conceive the thought of resistance.
"Remembered," Mia nodded obediently.
Chen Feng let go.
"Sarah, take her to take a bath and change into clean clothes. Arrange a separate suite for her and prepare plenty of high-calorie food."
Sarah stepped forward, glanced at the remains on the floor, and then looked at Mia.
"Let's go, little monster," Sarah said with a cold face.
Mia followed obediently behind Sarah and walked out.
Only Chen Feng and Samantha, who was still frantically typing on the keyboard, remained in the operating room.
Chen Feng ignored this research maniac, walked alone to the lounge area, sat in the sofa, and closed his eyes.
The system's light blue interface popped up on his retina.
"Mission [Perfect Container] reward has been issued."
"500,000 R&D points have been credited. Current total R&D points: 1.38 million."
"[T-Veronica Virus] ultimate form blueprint has been unlocked."
Chen Feng clicked on the blueprint, which radiated a dark golden light.
The T-Veronica Virus that Elena had previously fused with was only the basic version; although she gained the ability to manipulate fire, the limit was only around 3,000 degrees, and it consumed a massive amount of physical energy.
This ultimate form blueprint directly eliminated the defect in the T-Veronica Virus that required long periods of hibernation to adapt to the genes. Once the fusion is successful, the host's blood will spontaneously combust upon contact with air, the temperature limit can exceed 10,000 degrees, and it can even perform short-distance flight and limb regeneration.
"Good stuff." Chen Feng closed the interface. "When Elena returns from the Middle East, it will be the perfect time to upgrade her."
The encrypted phone on the table began to vibrate.
Chen Feng picked it up.
"Boss," Alan Fisher's voice was filled with undisguised excitement. "The asset transfer of the Rockefeller Family has been fully completed. Old Rockefeller signed the final equity transfer agreement for the energy company in Geneva ten minutes ago."
"Are you sure there are no loose ends?"
"Clean as a whistle," Alan laughed. "We even emptied out several of their family's secret vaults in Swiss banks. Now, the name Rockefeller doesn't mean a damn thing on Wall Street."
"Where is the old man?"
"At his estate in Geneva. Everyone around him has run off, leaving only an old butler." Alan asked, "Should I have Hunk send a few people over to send him on his way?"
"No need," Chen Feng took a sip of the coffee on the table. "Death is too easy for him. Notify the European branch and send people to take over his estate. Sell all the private jets, luxury cars, and yachts under his name. Leave him a wheelchair."
"Understood. And what about the medicine?"
The only condition for Old Rockefeller to sign all the agreements was Chen Feng's promise to provide him with the "downgraded Eternal" to extend his life.
"Give him the medicine as promised," Chen Feng sneered. "Send someone to give him an injection on the first of every month. Tell him that as long as he obediently acts like a useless person, I will provide enough medicine. I want him to watch helplessly as the empire he spent his whole life building is dismantled by me, and he has to beg me for his life like a dog every month."
"Ruthless enough. I'll go arrange it." Alan paused. "Also, news has come from the White House. President Clark wants to have a call with you, saying it's about the handover details of those air bases in the Middle East."
"Make him wait. I'll get back to him tomorrow afternoon."
Chen Feng hung up the phone directly.
The current U Federation President, Clark, was nothing more than a marionette in his hands. With the "Eden Island Tape" and "Neo-Genesis" leashes tied around his neck, if Chen Feng told him to go east, he wouldn't dare go west.
Just as he put the phone down, a communication request from Ada Wong cut in.
"Boss." Ada Wong's beautiful face appeared on the screen; the background seemed to be the cabin of a transport plane flying at high speed.
"Is the cleanup in Antarctica finished?"
"It's finished," Ada Wong brushed her hair. "Yuri's men and Old Morgan's mercenaries fought until they were tearing each other's brains out on the icebreaker. Three of the five G-Tyrants Yuri brought were scrapped, and Old Morgan's mercenaries were completely wiped out."
"Yuri didn't get the item; what was his reaction?"
"He was furious. He cursed Colonel Ivanov in the communication channel, almost ordering his execution on the spot." Ada Wong chuckled, "But he doesn't dare to cause us trouble now. He thinks it was Old Morgan's people who transferred the goods beforehand."
"Let him investigate," Chen Feng leaned back on the sofa. "The Russian Federation is now entirely dependent on the inhibitors we provide to keep that G-Tyrant production line running. As long as Yuri isn't brain-damaged, he can only swallow this insult."
"Boss, there is one more situation." Ada Wong put away her smile, her expression becoming serious. "I just intercepted an internal CIA intelligence report. Before President Tanglangpu went to prison, she had activated a contingency plan codenamed 'Black Rain'."
"Black Rain?"
"Yes. The specific content was physically isolated and not archived on any network. But I found that the funds for this plan flowed to South America. And..." Ada Wong looked at Chen Feng, "The recipient of the funds is the Colombia branch headed by Dr. Park."
Chen Feng's gaze darkened.
Dr. Park. That madman who injected himself with the "Queen Seed" Plaga Parasite in the Colombian rainforest, turning the entire South American drug cartel network into his own "hive".
Ever since Chen Feng had him mass-produce "Small Tyrants" as cannon fodder to sell to the Middle East, this guy had been staying in South America and hadn't actively reported on his work for a long time.
"Find out exactly where the funds went," Chen Feng ordered.
"I'm already looking into it. However, the South American side is currently run by Dr. Park like an iron bucket; it's very difficult for my people to infiltrate."
"No need to infiltrate," Chen Feng stood up, walked to the explosion-proof glass, and looked at the empty containment chamber inside.
"Notify Hunk to have Alpha Squad assemble." Chen Feng looked at his own reflection on the glass. "Also, take Mia with you. Didn't she just say she wasn't full? The 'tropical fruits' in South America should be enough for her to have a full meal."
