243: Chapter 243 Gold for a Tyrant, Squeezing the Bear Dry!

Moscow, Russian Federation Foreign Intelligence Service.

Yuri looked at the casualty report on the table, his heart bleeding.

Siberia Base No. 7 was completely ruined. To clean up those out-of-control castrated monsters, he had not only spent the entire year's budget of his agency but also sacrificed two elite motorized infantry divisions.

Now, The Kremlin had great objections to him, and his political rivals were sharpening their knives, ready to take him down.

The red encrypted phone on the table suddenly rang.

Yuri grabbed the receiver and roared angrily, "Who is it!"

"Yuri, don't be so hot-headed." Ada Wong's voice came from the receiver, carrying a hint of undisguised mockery. "Our boss asked me to ask you, have you cleaned up the mess on your end?"

"You bunch of vampires!" Yuri slammed his fist on the table, making the coffee cup jump and splashing coffee all over the table. "You scammed me with ten thousand defective products, and you still dare to call? Do you believe I'll send agents to blow up your Los Angeles headquarters!"

"Stop making empty threats, Director." Ada Wong chuckled lightly. "You can't even pay your Soldiers' pensions now, what will you use to blow up our headquarters? The boss says, for the sake of an old customer, he'll give you a chance to turn the tables."

"Turn the tables?" Yuri sneered. "Do you think I'll fall for it again?"

"We have a new batch in hand. Perfect biological weapons, retaining human intelligence, no mutations, and ten times the combat power of those defective products." Ada Wong paused. "Most importantly, they don't need to eat people."

Yuri was stunned for a moment, and just as he was about to retort, an encrypted email popped up on his computer screen.

"The video has been sent to your email. Decide whether you want to curse after you finish watching it."

The call hung up. Yuri clicked on the email attachment.

In the video, a monster two meters tall with dark gray skin tore apart ten heavily armed steel-like men with its bare hands in a closed test field. The movements were clean and efficient, without any mania or loss of control, and after finishing, it even stood at attention like a soldier.

Yuri stared fixedly at the screen, his breathing becoming heavy. This was the super soldier he had dreamed of! If he had this unit, no one would be able to shake his position in The Kremlin, and those political rivals who wanted to kill him would all have to shut up.

He grabbed the phone and dialed back.

"How much?"

"One thousand tons of gold for ten finished products plus one primary production line." Ada Wong stated the price directly. "Bring the gold and come to Los Angeles to see our boss. We only accept spot goods."

Yuri gritted his teeth. One thousand tons of gold was the last of the Russian Federation's treasury reserve. These bastards were literally skinning him alive!

"Fine! I'll arrange a special plane immediately!" Yuri squeezed these words out through his teeth.

...

Los Angeles, Umbrella Headquarters, sixth floor underground.

Chen Feng threw a file onto his desk.

"Old Rockefeller is still sensible." He leaned back in his boss's chair, looking at Sarah opposite him. "Has the handover procedure for the space center been completed?"

"It's done, boss." Sarah nodded. "The old guy went to the emergency room after signing the papers; I heard he was so angry he vomited blood twice. The FBI rushed to that laboratory in Nevada and hit a dead end, not finding even a single screw, and now they are searching the whole world for the leaker."

Chen Feng laughed. "Him vomiting blood is because of his poor health; what does that have to do with us? How is the progress in the special zone?"

"Clark has used the National Guard to clear the way, and all ten special zones have started construction." Sarah pulled up several holographic photos, which floated in mid-air. "The blueprints for the underground bunkers are designed to the highest anti-nuclear level, and the main frame is expected to be built within half a month."

"What about Smith, that state senator who led the protest?"

"Locked on the fourth floor underground." Sarah said expressionlessly. "He has been threatening us with federal law the whole way, and it's giving me a headache."

"If he's noisy, make him shut up." Chen Feng tapped the table. "Isn't Samantha short of test subjects? Send this senator over. No need for anesthesia, use the G-Virus directly, and see if his bones are as hard as his mouth."

"Understood."

The door was pushed open, and Ada Wong walked in wearing high heels. "Boss, Yuri's special plane will land in two hours. The one thousand tons of gold have been loaded, not a gram less."

Chen Feng stood up and straightened his suit cuffs. "Let's go, let's welcome our big customer. Today, we must fleece him until he is convinced."

Two hours later, fifth floor underground test field.

Yuri walked out of the elevator with four burly bodyguards. His face was pale, and his eyes were bloodshot; clearly, he had been through a lot in the past few days, and he looked like a Siberian bear on the verge of a rampage.

Chen Feng sat on the leather sofa at the edge of the test field, holding a glass of iced cola.

"Yuri, you've traveled a long way, thank you for your hard work." Chen Feng pointed to the empty seat opposite him. "Sit."

Yuri didn't sit, but strode up to Chen Feng, supported himself on the coffee table with both hands, and stared at him fixedly. "The gold is in the transport plane above. Where is the cargo? Chen Feng, if you dare to fool me with that kind of out-of-control defective product again, I will drag you down with me even if I have to risk my old life today."

"Director, business is about harmony and wealth." Chen Feng took a sip of cola. "Last time, you were greedy for cheap prices and insisted on buying the castrated version of the blueprints. This time is different; this time, these are finished products."

Chen Feng snapped his fingers.

The metal door in the center of the test field slid open slowly.

A G-Tyrant, two meters tall with dark gray skin, walked out. It didn't make any beast-like roars, its pace was steady, and its eyes were cold but clear. It walked to the center of the field, spread its legs slightly, and stood at attention like a real soldier.

Yuri squinted his eyes to examine this monster. "That's it? Its size is much smaller than the last one."

"Concentrated essence is the best." Chen Feng smiled. "Director, you brought bodyguards, right? Let them try shooting."

Yuri turned his head to look at the bodyguards behind him. The four bodyguards immediately drew the large-caliber Magnum pistols from their waists and pulled the triggers at the G-Tyrant without hesitation.

"Bang, bang, bang, bang!"

The gunfire was deafening in the enclosed test field.

The bullets hit the G-Tyrant's chest and head accurately. But a hair-raising scene appeared. The large-caliber armor-piercing bullets hit its grayish-white skin, leaving only a few shallow white marks, and then were directly deflected, falling to the ground with a crisp metallic clinking sound.

The G-Tyrant didn't even dodge, and it didn't even blink.

The bodyguards were dumbfounded; these were bullets that could penetrate light body armor!

Yuri gasped.

"This is just an appetizer." Chen Feng said into the microphone. "Do something."

Two half-meter-thick homogeneous steel plates were lowered from above the test field.

The G-Tyrant raised its right arm and clenched its five fingers into a fist. Without a run-up, without any unnecessary movements, it punched the steel plate directly.

"Boom!"

With a loud bang, the half-meter-thick steel plate was punched through, and the metal at the edges even turned dark red due to the huge friction. The G-Tyrant pulled its arm out, not even a layer of skin on its grayish-white arm was broken.

Yuri stared fixedly at the punched-through steel plate, his Adam's apple rolling.

"Does this thing... listen to commands?" His voice was a bit shaky.

"Absolutely obedient." Chen Feng leaned back on the sofa. "It has an Umbrella biological chip implanted in its brain; if you tell it to go east, it will never go west. Moreover, it doesn't need to eat human flesh to maintain its metabolism; injecting one dose of special nutrient solution every day is enough to maintain its peak combat power."

Yuri turned around and looked at Chen Feng. "One thousand tons of gold for ten finished products?"

"Correct."

"Too expensive!" Yuri gritted his teeth. "This money could buy two heavy armored divisions!"

"Director, that's not how you calculate the account." Chen Feng put down the cola can. "Can two armored divisions silently infiltrate an enemy capital? Can they withstand heavy firepower to decapitate enemy high-level officials? You are not buying Soldiers; you are buying the confidence that allows you to walk sideways in The Kremlin with no one daring to touch you."

Yuri fell silent. He knew Chen Feng was right. The mess in Siberia made his current situation precarious, and he urgently needed an ultimate weapon that could hold the line to save his life.

"Fine. I'll buy it." Yuri spat out a few words with difficulty. "But I also want that primary production line."

"No problem." Chen Feng snapped his fingers with a smile. "Sarah, take the Director to handle the handover procedures. By the way, pack up those ten G-Tyrants and send them to the Director's plane."

Yuri left with Sarah. He came like an angry bear, but his back as he left revealed a weariness of being completely drained.

Ada Wong walked over, looking at Yuri's retreating figure. "Boss, did you just sell the G-Tyrant to him like that? Aren't you afraid he'll bite back?"

"Bite back? With what?" Chen Feng stood up and straightened his suit jacket. "That primary production line can only use the broad-spectrum immunosuppressant we provide. The more he builds, the deeper his dependence on us becomes. When he pours all of the Russian Federation's assets into it, he will find that every army he creates has a remote control in my hand."

Chen Feng walked to the edge of the test field, looking at the G-Tyrant standing straight.

"After the special zone is built, launch the production line fully." Chen Feng's eyes were cold and sharp. "I want to see ten thousand G-Tyrants standing in the underground of Los Angeles within three months."

"Understood." Ada Wong nodded.

"By the way." Chen Feng turned his head. "Has Clark been too idle lately? Find him something to do. Have him use the name of counter-terrorism to clear out a few of the U Federation's overseas military bases and hand them over to Umbrella for takeover."

"Will he agree?"

"If he doesn't agree, cut off his medicine." Chen Feng smiled. "He is just a dog on a leash I hold. Whoever I tell him to bite, he must bite."
