248: Chapter 248 In this round, I want them all.
In a private cigar club in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York.
Three senators in suits were sitting on leather sofas, smoking cigars.
These three were the ones making the most noise in the media recently, insisting on auditing the accounts of Umbrella's "Medical Special Zone."
"When will the political contributions promised by Mr. Rockefeller arrive?" Senator Steven flicked the ash off his cigar.
"By tomorrow at the latest." Another fat senator smiled until his eyes narrowed into slits. "As long as we strip Umbrella bare and prove they are evading taxes and conducting illegal experiments, even President Clark won't be able to protect them."
"That yellow-skinned monkey Chen Feng, does he really think he can cover the sky with one hand in the U Federation?"
Before he could finish his sentence, the oak door of the private room was kicked open.
The door slammed against the wall with a "bang."
The three senators were startled, and their cigars fell onto the carpet.
Chen Feng walked in unhurriedly, wearing a black trench coat with his hands in his pockets. Sarah followed beside him, carrying a silver briefcase.
Outside the door, where the bodyguards should have been standing, there were now only pools of blood.
"Who said I couldn't cover the sky with one hand?" Chen Feng walked over to the sofa, sat down, and crossed his legs. "Go ahead, say it again to my face."
Steven tried to maintain his composure: "Chen Feng! You are trespassing on private property! Do you know who we are? We are U Federation senators! If you dare touch a single hair on our heads..."
"Sarah." Chen Feng called out.
Sarah stepped forward, grabbed Steven's tie with one hand, and lifted the 180-pound man right up.
"Cough, cough... Let go! You crazy woman!" Steven kicked his legs wildly, his face turning beet red.
The fat senator scrambled into the corner, pointing at Chen Feng and shouting: "You're crazy! This is New York! Do you dare to kidnap a congressman?"
Chen Feng ignored him, poured himself a glass of bourbon, and took a sip.
"I heard you've been very interested in the accounts of my Special Zone lately?" Chen Feng put down his glass and pointed to the case in Sarah's hand. "I've always been a law-abiding citizen. So, I've personally brought the ledgers to you."
Sarah let go, and Steven collapsed onto the floor like a pile of mud, gasping for air.
She placed the silver briefcase on the coffee table, entered the password, and it opened with a "click."
There were no documents or hard drives in the case.
There were only three syringes filled with light blue liquid, and three things soaking in nutrient solution that looked like centipedes.
This was the "Parasite Type β" improved by Samantha using the "Dominant Placa."
No need for craniotomy; just inject it into the neck, and the parasite would crawl along the blood vessels into the brain within five minutes, fusing with the central nervous system.
The host's memory and brain would remain intact, but from that moment on, whether they lived or died depended entirely on the Mother.
"What... what is this thing?" Steven looked at the insects wriggling in the nutrient solution, his scalp tingling, and a chill rushed from the soles of his feet to his forehead.
"My ledgers." Chen Feng looked at him and smiled. "What, are you afraid to check them now?"
"Mr. Chen! Boss Chen!" The fat senator knelt on the floor, trembling all over. "It was Rockefeller! It was Old Rockefeller who made us do it! He gave us fifty million each! We'll return all the money to you, please be magnanimous and let us go!"
"Too late." The smile on Chen Feng's face vanished, and his tone was cold. "I gave you a chance, but you insisted on running into the muzzle of the gun."
He raised his chin.
Sarah picked up a syringe and walked over to the fat senator.
"No! Don't come over! Help—"
The fat senator's scream was only half-finished when Sarah had already plunged the needle into his neck.
The light blue liquid, along with the little parasite, was pushed inside.
The fat senator rolled his eyes and collapsed to the ground, convulsing all over.
In less than a minute, he stopped convulsing.
He slowly climbed up from the floor, stood for a moment with a hollow look in his eyes, and then quickly returned to normal.
He straightened his messy suit, walked up to Chen Feng, and bowed respectfully: "Boss."
Steven and the other senator watched this scene, so scared that they wet their pants, and a stench of urine filled the room.
"It seems you are very satisfied with my ledgers." Chen Feng stood up, covering his nose in disgust. "Sarah, help the remaining two senators check the accounts properly. Tomorrow morning, I want to see them issue a joint statement fully supporting the construction of the Medical Special Zone."
"Understood." Sarah picked up the remaining two syringes.
The screams of a slaughtered pig rang out in the private room again.
Chen Feng pushed the door open and stepped out, breathing in the cold night air of Manhattan.
The old money families wanted to use politicians to disgust him?
Then he would turn these politicians into his own dogs and make them bite back at the old money.
"Red Queen." Chen Feng pressed his earpiece. "Has Yuri received the news?"
"Boss, the anonymous email has been sent to the top-secret intranet of the Russian Federation's Foreign Intelligence Service. Director Yuri just held an emergency meeting ten minutes ago, mobilized the 'Alpha' special forces and five G-Tyrants, and they have already boarded the plane, expected to arrive in Antarctica in seven hours." Red Queen's voice rang out in the channel.
"What about Old Morgan's people?"
"A joint team composed of the Blackwater company and the Cerberus mercenary group, carrying heavy individual railguns and thermobaric bombs, departed two hours earlier than the Russians."
Chen Feng gave a cold smile.
"Have Hunk stay in the Middle East to watch the shop. Notify the stealth drones over Antarctica to record the show for me. By the way, air-drop those nearly expired, defective 'Walkers' from our warehouse onto their path."
"Command confirmed. Fifty 'Walkers' in indiscriminate attack mode have been loaded."
...
Meanwhile.
Moscow, the underground intelligence center of The Kremlin.
Yuri stared at the anonymous email on the big screen, his eyes full of greed.
"Director, this intelligence source is unknown, could it be a trap?" The deputy reminded him cautiously from the side.
"A trap? Who has the guts to set a trap for the Russian Federation?" Yuri snorted coldly. "That old dog, Old Morgan, is secretly transporting things to Antarctica, and even the DuPont Family's trump card, 'Spartan,' was lost there. What does this mean? It means there is a big prize under the ice!"
Yuri really needed military merit right now.
Buying G-Tyrants last time had drained the national treasury. Although it had shocked his political rivals, many people were privately calling him a spendthrift.
If he could get a bio-weapon stronger than the G-Virus from Antarctica, he, Yuri, would be deified in the Russian Federation.
"Tell Colonel Viktor Ivanov in charge of the team." Yuri slammed the table. "Once you get to Antarctica, forget about international law. As long as you encounter Old Morgan's people, use the G-Tyrants to crush them! The things under the ice must be brought back to Moscow!"
Ten hours later, the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica.
The blizzard was raging, and visibility was very low.
Several heavy transport helicopters painted with black camouflage landed with difficulty on the ice sheet.
The cabin doors opened, and over a hundred fully armed mercenaries wearing polar cold-weather gear ran out.
Leading them was a scarred man, the ace commander of the Blackwater company, codenamed "Wild Dog."
"Move it! The boss said, I want to see people alive or dead. Dig out what's under the ice lake, and everyone gets a ten-million bonus!" Wild Dog roared into the communicator.
Under heavy reward, there must be brave men. The mercenaries immediately began unloading heavy ice-breaking equipment and individual railguns.
"Boss, the radar shows an unidentified flying object approaching thirty kilometers to the northwest." A technician suddenly reported.
Wild Dog frowned and snatched the tablet to take a look.
"No IFF signal, and it's very fast. Damn it, whose people are here to steal the food?" Wild Dog spat. "I don't care who it is, anyone who dares to touch Boss Morgan's cake, shoot them all down! Prepare the anti-aircraft missiles!"
Just as the mercenaries were busy setting up the missiles.
In the strong wind, came the dull roar of engines, sounding like heavy transport planes.
Immediately after, a dozen huge black containers fell from the sky, without any deceleration, crashing straight into the ice 500 meters in front of the mercenary position.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
A dozen big pits were smashed into the ice, and it vibrated violently.
Wild Dog raised his tactical binoculars, saw the logo on the container, and his pupils contracted.
The red and white Umbrella logo.
"Umbrella Corporation?!" Wild Dog's scalp went a bit numb.
Before coming, Old Morgan had warned him repeatedly: you can fight anyone, but if you encounter people from Umbrella, run as far as you can.
The doors of the containers slowly opened.
No USS troops walked out.
Instead, out crawled fifty giant, dark gold metal scorpions—Type B-07 "Walkers."
However, these Walkers were a bit different from the ones sold to the Middle East.
Their shells were a bit mottled, and their compound eyes flashed with chaotic red light.
These were nearly expired, defective products from Chen Feng's warehouse; their IFF systems had failed, and only the desire to kill remained in their brains.
"Hiss—"
Fifty defective Walkers let out a harsh hiss, their eight mechanical legs sliding rapidly on the ice, kicking up a sky full of ice and snow, rushing toward the mercenary position like a black tide.
"Fire! Fire! Don't let them get close!" Wild Dog roared hoarsely.
Railguns and heavy machine guns spewed fire instantly.
A dense web of fire was woven on the ice sheet.
Although the armor of the defective Walkers was not as good as the genuine ones, it was enough to withstand ordinary armor-piercing bullets.
Braving the hail of bullets, the dozen or so Walkers in the front jumped up, their huge tail stingers drawing an arc in mid-air.
"Puchi!"
Several mercenaries didn't even have time to scream before they were directly pierced by the tail stingers, and the toxins instantly turned them into a puddle of pus.
The position fell into chaos immediately.
Just as Wild Dog was commanding his subordinates to fight to the death.
In the sky to the northwest, the Russian Federation's transport plane fleet finally arrived.
The cabin doors opened, and five two-meter-tall G-Tyrants with gray-white skin, led by Colonel Viktor Ivanov, dropped directly onto the battlefield.
Ivanov looked at the mercenaries and metal scorpions below, which were in a mess, and sneered.
"Director Yuri was right, these Americans are indeed up to something." Ivanov pressed his earpiece. "Alpha team, provide covering fire. G-Tyrants, clear the field!"
The five G-Tyrants received the order and smashed into the battlefield like five heavy bombs.
They ignored the mercenaries' bullets and the Walkers' tail stingers.
One G-Tyrant grabbed a lunging Walker, used force with both hands, and with a "crack," tore the metal scorpion into two halves.
Immediately after, it turned its head and locked onto the mercenary next to it, smashing the opponent's head with one punch.
On the ice sheet, Old Morgan's mercenaries, Chen Feng's defective Walkers, and Yuri's G-Tyrants were completely locked in a slaughter.
Blood stained the ice red, and the screams and explosions drowned out the howling of the blizzard.
Los Angeles, underground War Room.
Chen Feng sat in front of the big screen, holding a cup of hot coffee, watching the live broadcast from the drone with great interest.
"Dogs biting dogs, a mouthful of hair." Chen Feng blew on the hot steam of his coffee comfortably. "Ada, notify Alan, while Old Morgan's funds are tied up in Antarctica, bleed him some more on Wall Street. I want to let this old guy know that coveting my things comes with a price."
"Understood, Boss." Ada Wong replied with a smile.
Chen Feng turned to look at another screen, which showed the seventh underground level, Samantha's laboratory.
On the screen, Samantha was directing the mechanical arm, injecting a tube of green G-Virus stock solution into the Blacklight Progenitor that had been electrocuted into charcoal.
"Boss, the fusion has started!" Samantha's voice trembled with excitement. "Its cells are devouring the G-Virus! The gene chain is rearranging!"
Chen Feng put down his coffee cup and leaned forward.
He wanted to see what kind of monster could be created by combining Blacklight and the G-Virus.
