276: Chapter 276 Target: A Hundred-Meter Mountain of Flesh!

Chen Feng sat on the sofa in the transport plane's cabin, looking down at the night view of Manhattan.

Old Morgan was paralyzed, and his funds had been drained. The remaining Old Rockefeller definitely wouldn't be able to sit still. This bunch of old foxes had a sense of smell sharper than a dog's; once they caught a whiff of blood, they would definitely pounce.

"Sarah, how are things arranged on Ada's end?" Chen Feng raised a glass of whiskey.

"Ten minutes ago, an agent disguised as a maid delivered Dr. Samantha's new creation to the kitchen of the Rockefeller Estate." Sarah handed over a surveillance feed.

In the footage, Old Rockefeller sat in a wheelchair at his luxurious estate in the suburbs of Washington. Opposite him sat a burly man in casual clothes—General Kendall, a four-star general of the U Federation.

"This old geezer moves fast. He actually brought in that mad dog, General Kendall."

In the Zagros Mountains, General Kendall had been set up by Chen Feng, losing hundreds of defective 'Walkers'. Not only did he lose men, but he was also subjected to an internal Pentagon investigation. He had always held this grudge against Chen Feng. It was perfect that Old Rockefeller had reached out to him.

"Boss, should I have the T-801 go over and flatten the estate directly?" The black tentacles on Sarah's right arm writhed slightly.

"No need. Just killing is so boring." Chen Feng waved his hand and took a sip of his drink. "Since Samantha made the 'Marionette', we need to find someone of sufficient weight to test the drug."

On the screen, Old Rockefeller tapped his cane, his face glowing with excitement.

"General, that fool Morgan screwed up. Now is his weakest moment. But Chen Feng will definitely want to take a bite too. As long as you deploy the First Armored Brigade to blockade Umbrella's special district in New York under the guise of a 'national security investigation', I will provide fifty billion in military funding, plus the three military labs left behind by the DuPont Family."

General Kendall stroked his chin, greed in his eyes, but he still had some reservations.

"Those bioweapons in Chen Feng's hands are not easy to deal with. You saw what happened on the streets of New York."

"That's because they haven't faced a regular army!" Old Rockefeller lowered his voice and leaned in closer. "President Clark is spineless. Chen Feng has dirt on him, so he doesn't dare to act. But you're different. You hold real power. Once we expose Chen Feng's trump cards, we'll split Umbrella's technology fifty-fifty. When that time comes, even the White House will have to look to your favor."

General Kendall slapped his thigh and stood up. "Deal!"

A maid walked over carrying a tray, placing two glasses of decanted Romanée-Conti on the coffee table.

General Kendall picked up his glass and downed half of it in one gulp.

He smacked his lips, frowning slightly. "Why does this wine taste like rust?"

"The general must be joking. This is the best collection in my wine cellar. I usually can't even bear to drink it myself." Old Rockefeller also raised his glass and took a sip, in high spirits.

Inside the transport plane's cabin.

Mia rubbed her eyes as she walked out of the lounge, some uncleared green slime still clinging to her pink down jacket.

"Boss, I'm hungry."

"You just ate hundreds of mutants and you're hungry again?" Chen Feng tossed the tablet onto the table. "Don't eat yet. Come play a game."

Mia leaned in to look at the screen.

"See this bald uncle?" Chen Feng pointed at General Kendall on the surveillance screen. "He has one of your little bugs in his head right now. Let him stretch his legs."

Mia's eerie green slit pupils lit up, and she rubbed her hands in excitement. "Wow! This big toy is so fun!"

She extended a finger and tapped the screen toward General Kendall from a distance.

The Rockefeller Estate.

General Kendall was about to clink glasses with Old Rockefeller to celebrate when his movement suddenly froze in mid-air.

The goblet in his hand fell to the floor with a crash, shattering completely. The dark red wine splattered all over Old Rockefeller's trouser leg.

"General? What's wrong?" Old Rockefeller frowned, wiping his trouser leg with a handkerchief.

General Kendall slowly raised his head.

The whites of his eyes, which were originally cloudy, were now covered with extremely fine black veins, and his pupils had stretched into an eerie green vertical slit, exuding a non-human coldness.

Old Rockefeller was startled and instinctively shrank back. "You..."

General Kendall suddenly grinned, revealing an extremely bizarre smile.

It was the innocent smile of a little girl who had just gotten candy. Placed on the rugged face of a four-star general, it made one's skin crawl.

"Old man, your money belongs to the boss now."

The voice was still General Kendall's gruff tone, but the delivery was as lighthearted as if playing in an amusement park.

Old Rockefeller pointed at General Kendall, his hand trembling so violently that even his cane dropped to the floor. "You... you've been controlled by Chen Feng?!"

General Kendall ignored him, drew the large-caliber pistol from his waist, racked the slide to chamber a round, and slammed it onto the table with a bang.

He picked up the walkie-talkie and pressed the all-frequency broadcast button.

"First Armored Brigade, hear my command. Target: Rockefeller Estate. Fully armed, surround this place immediately."

A doubtful voice came from the walkie-talkie: "General? That's Mr. Rockefeller's private residence. We don't have a search warrant..."

"I am the search warrant!" General Kendall roared. "Surround this estate completely! Don't let a single fly escape! If you encounter resistance, shoot to kill on the spot!"

"Yes, sir!"

Old Rockefeller's eyes practically popped out of his head. He pounded the armrest of his wheelchair frantically. "Kendall! Are you insane?! Do you know what you are doing?!"

General Kendall walked over, grabbed Old Rockefeller by the collar, and lifted him completely out of his wheelchair.

"Correct, but unfortunately, there's no prize."

Outside the door, dozens of American soldiers responsible for the estate's perimeter security rushed in.

They raised their M4 rifles, pointing them in unison at Old Rockefeller's private bodyguards. The bodyguards looked at each other, none of them daring to fire.

"General, what are your orders?" the major leading the squad asked loudly.

"Smash open all of this old geezer's safes. Pack up all paper documents, hard drives, and encryption keys." General Kendall pointed at Old Rockefeller's nose. "If anyone dares to stop you, gun them down on the spot."

The major waved his hand, and the soldiers rushed into the study and the basement.

Old Rockefeller watched the soldiers, who usually took his family's political donations, now ransacking his home like bandits. He trembled all over.

"Chen Feng... you will die a horrible death..."

Just after he finished cursing, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. A sweet taste rose in his throat, and he spat out a large mouthful of black blood. His eyes rolled back, and he fainted on the spot.

In the cabin, Chen Feng sneered as he watched the farce on the screen.

"Boss, Old Rockefeller's anger has caused a massive rupture in his cerebral blood vessels." Sarah looked at the vital signs monitoring data. "Even if he's saved, he'll spend the rest of his life intubated in bed."

"He got off easy." Chen Feng tapped his fingers on the table. "What is the current production capacity of the Marionette?"

"Dr. Samantha used the Progenitor Core brought back from South America to optimize the cultivation fluid. The daily output can now reach one thousand units," Sarah reported. "As long as you give the order, we can replace all the high-ranking officials in Congress and The Pentagon within three days."

"No need to rush the rollout. Just target a few troublemakers. Using this too much will easily trigger a backlash." Chen Feng stood up and stretched. "The old money families' sandbox has basically been smashed by us. Next, it's time to harvest the military-industrial orders."

As he spoke, the Red Queen's holographic projection lit up in the center of the cabin.

The AI, in the form of a little girl, looked somewhat serious.

"Sir, we have received a top-level encrypted distress signal from Siberia Base No. 7 of the Russian Federation."

"Yuri?" Chen Feng raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. They used an emergency line to request to speak with you directly."

"Patch it through."

A crackling static sound came from the loudspeaker, accompanied by explosions and screams.

Yuri's voice sounded desperate, completely stripped of his usual old-fox tone.

"Chen! Help! A huge disaster has happened!"

"Director Yuri, why so angry in the middle of the night?" Chen Feng walked to the bar and poured a glass of ice water. "What, is your batch of 'Winter Soldiers' out of control again?"

"Not those useless wastes! It's Sergei!" Yuri roared on the other end, his voice cracking. "He's out of control! Completely out of control!"

Chen Feng's hand paused.

Sergei, the ace agent of the Russian Intelligence Bureau, had previously been captured while infiltrating Umbrella and later became the first-generation test subject for the G-Virus.

"Wasn't he staying perfectly fine in the underground isolation chamber of Base No. 7?"

"We fed him too many discarded mutants as nourishment, hoping to catalyze his evolution," Yuri gasped anxiously. "As a result, this monster smashed all the cultivation vats in the entire base! He swallowed tens of thousands of corpses, and even ate half of the two mechanized infantry divisions on the perimeter!"

"What is the situation now?"

"He has already grown to over a hundred meters tall! He's like a moving meat mountain!" Yuri's voice trembled. "Conventional weapons hit him like a tickle, and even thermobaric bombs can only blow off a layer of his skin. He is currently moving toward the nearest city. The president has issued an ultimatum: if we can't resolve this within three hours, they will directly deploy tactical nuclear weapons!"

Once nuclear weapons were used, Yuri's career as the Intelligence Bureau Director would be completely over.

Chen Feng glanced at Mia beside him.

The little girl was listening intently. Hearing 'a hundred-meter-tall meat mountain,' she sucked her drool back in with a slurp, her eyes shining terrifyingly bright.

"Boss! A feast! A super feast!" Mia jumped up and down, tugging at Chen Feng's sleeve.

Chen Feng pressed down on her head and spoke slowly into the microphone.

"Director Yuri, Umbrella is a legitimate security company. We charge for our services."

"As long as you can deal with this monster, name your terms!" Yuri did not hesitate.

"Five thousand tons of gold. Plus a ninety-nine-year lease on three of your deep-water ports in the Far East." Chen Feng named his price.

There was silence on the other end of the line.

Five thousand tons of gold—this was almost a third of the Russian Federation's entire physical treasury reserves.

"Chen, this is extortion..."

"Yuri, you have two hours and fifty minutes left," Chen Feng interrupted. "Once the nuke goes off, you won't even have your life. What do you need gold for?"

"...Deal!" Yuri spat out the words. "The gold is already loaded onto three armored trains. As soon as you deal with Sergei, the trains will immediately head to your designated port!"

Chen Feng hung up the call and turned to look at Sarah.

"Notify the flight squadron to turn around and head to Siberia."

"Boss, should we bring the Alpha Squad?" Sarah asked.

"No need." Chen Feng pointed at Mia, who had already begun changing into her tactical suit. "Bringing a big eater is enough."

After a moment of thought, Chen Feng added another line.

"Call Elena as well. Since we are taking five thousand tons of gold from Yuri, we have to show him something exciting."

Outside the cabin, the night wind howled.

The transport plane turned in the night sky, heading straight for the icy and snowy Siberia.
