203: Chapter 203 Listen to the boss, if you're unhappy, burn it all.

The spacious office was eerily quiet.

"What a coincidence." Weber in the holographic projection suddenly changed the subject, leaned back against his chair, and spread his hands. "These old masters who are used to hiding behind the scenes and sucking blood also sent me an invitation yesterday."

Chen Feng's hand holding the coffee cup stopped in mid-air, and he raised his eyelids to look at the energetic old man with a full head of black hair on the screen.

"Are you going?" Chen Feng asked in return.

"I have no choice." Weber sneered, his tone filled with a hint of mockery. "I hold the largest pharmaceutical distribution network in the United States and am currently the only external agent for Neo-Genesis. In their eyes, I am also the sharpest knife on this cake. Pulling me into the fold to share your meat is only logical."

An old fox is an old fox; he saw the situation clearly. He knew very well that in the eyes of those plutocrats who had lived for centuries, the upstart Weber was still just a tool that could be used.

"You're quite honest." Chen Feng finished the last sip of black coffee and set the porcelain cup heavily on the desk.

Weber leaned closer to the camera, his expression becoming exceptionally serious. "Chen, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The castle is private. For a secret meeting of this level, the security level is definitely presidential—not even a fly could get in. No matter how elite the mercenaries you send are, they won't be able to get anywhere near that mountain."

"But I am different." Weber held up two fingers. "As an invited guest, I can legitimately bring people in. Two personal bodyguards, or one personal assistant. What I mean is, you can use my shell to sneak your people into the venue."

This proposal was indeed bold. If it were actually discovered, Weber's old bones would also be buried along with it. It seemed that the old man had truly tied himself firmly to Umbrella's chariot.

"You must know what your enemies are thinking and exactly who is sitting at that table." Weber spoke at a very fast pace. "Relying on second-hand intelligence bought from the outside won't get you to the core. Give me someone. It must be a fresh face, their skills must be absolutely top-tier, and they must have a sharp mind. Can you handle this job?"

Chen Feng didn't speak, his index finger tapping rhythmically on the desk.

Who to send?

The one most familiar with all the operations and the smartest is definitely Sarah. But this woman is currently Umbrella's golden signboard to the outside world, constantly appearing with him, so her photo has long been hanging on the desks of major global intelligence agencies. Letting her pose as an assistant to sneak in is no different from sticking a sign on the front door that says "I was sent by Chen Feng." Her face is too recognizable.

Send Marcus or Hunk? Chen Feng imagined the scene and almost laughed out loud. These two guys standing there would be two walking armories. Whether wearing tactical gear or Armani suits, the strong smell of gunpowder and the murderous aura built up from human lives on them simply couldn't be hidden. If they went through security, they would probably snap the necks of the venue's bodyguards before even passing through the metal detector.

What about Lin Hao and Kevin and that bunch of kids who just crawled out of the incubation tanks? Their strength is definitely sufficient. Just yesterday, these monsters tore apart dozens of fully armed mercenaries on the Middle East battlefield like shredded chicken. But that's the problem; these people just killed until their eyes turned red, and their murderous aura is too heavy—they simply don't know how to restrain their emotions. In that kind of vanity fair full of old foxes, a few prickly words could easily provoke their temper, making it too easy to expose their background.

Just as he was pondering, a figure suddenly popped into Chen Feng's mind.

A pale, cold face without any superfluous expression.

The perfect candidate.

That girl who crawled out of the hell of Eden Island, completely reshaped by the T-Veronica Virus. That disaster-making machine who just a few days ago, on the Golan Heights, melted through a one-meter-thick nuclear blast door with her bare hands.

"I accept your proposal." Chen Feng looked up, staring at the holographic screen, his fingers stopping their tapping.

Weber's eyes lit up, and he hurriedly asked, "Good! Who do you plan to send? Do they understand the rules of this kind of vanity fair?"

"A fresh face. It will definitely meet your requirements." Chen Feng clasped his hands together and leaned forward slightly. "As for the rules, you only need to remember one thing."

Weber pricked up his ears.

"Once she enters that door, she represents only me. Her every action, every word, is equivalent to my will." Chen Feng's voice betrayed no emotion. "You just need to bring her in; she will handle the rest herself."

Weber's heart pounded as he listened. The subtext of these words was too heavy. The person Chen Feng was sending was definitely not some minor character who only knew how to eavesdrop on intelligence. This tone was practically sending an imperial envoy.

"No problem. I will send the flight information and the castle pass directly to your internal network." Weber didn't ask another half-sentence. People who have lived long in this world know that they should never open their mouths about secrets they shouldn't ask about.

The communication cut off, and the holographic screen dissipated into a field of dim blue light spots.

Chen Feng turned his head to look at Sarah, who had been standing quietly to the side behind him. This woman was wearing a form-fitting black professional suit, standing straight, and she had heard every word of his conversation with Weber.

"Go, call T-V01 over." Chen Feng ordered.

"Understood, boss." Sarah nodded, turned, opened the office door, and walked out.

It only took the time it takes to smoke a cigarette before the office door was pushed open again.

A young girl walked in.

Late last night, she had just withdrawn with the action team from the Middle East battlefield and landed in Los Angeles on the company's stealth transport plane. In that fortress on the Golan Heights, known as the one that never falls, a large portion of the three thousand lives were taken by her own hands. The flesh and blood that were instantly vaporized in the high heat didn't even leave a trace behind.

But now, you couldn't find a trace of the violence or fatigue from the slaughter on this girl.

She was wearing a very simple black cinched-waist dress, with a pair of black flat leather shoes on her feet. Her chestnut-colored long hair was draped casually over her shoulders, her figure tall and slender, her skin so fair it was almost lacking in color. If this exquisite and cold face were to walk on the streets of Manhattan, or go to a Hollywood audition, she would probably be swarmed by talent scouts handing her business cards. She looked no different from an ordinary young female college student.

This was exactly what Chen Feng wanted. The deception was too strong.

Except for Chen Feng and a few people in the underground laboratory, no one knew what kind of destructive power was sealed within this seemingly fragile shell. She was the perfect host for the T-Veronica Virus and was currently the ceiling-level living disaster of the Umbrella Corporation in terms of combat power.

If she wanted to, a single thought could turn the entire Scottish castle into a furnace of several thousand degrees.

"Boss, you called for me."

Elena walked straight to the large ebony desk, stopped, and bowed slightly in a very natural manner.

Her voice was very light, without any fluctuation, almost ethereal.

The moment she looked up, Chen Feng met her gaze. Those were eyes with distinct black and white, extremely calm, without a ripple. But in the deepest part of her pupils, one could faintly catch two clusters of golden-red flames, quietly flickering.

That was the blazing fire capable of incinerating all conventional rules in the world. It was the materialization of a high-level virus that had absolute suppression over living beings.

But this terrifying power was completely restrained in front of Chen Feng. She was as docile as a completely tamed beast.

Because the man standing in front of her was the god who pulled her out of that man-eating den of hell on Eden Island. He was the creator who bestowed upon her the power to judge those abusers.

Without Chen Feng, she would have long ago become a broken corpse in the basement, played to death. From the moment she lay in that dim blue gene fusion chamber, her soul and this body capable of burning everything had submitted only to Chen Feng.

Chen Feng looked her up and down, very satisfied with the "highest masterpiece" he had personally created.

"Just back from the Middle East, are your physical indicators still stable?" Chen Feng asked casually.

"All physiological data are at normal peak levels. Dr. Samantha has performed a comprehensive check, and I can execute the next mission at any time." Elena answered cleanly and neatly, without a single word of nonsense. For her, fighting and killing for the boss was the only meaning of her existence.

"Very good." Chen Feng picked up the tablet on the desk containing the top-secret information about the Scottish castle and tossed it directly to her.

Elena raised her hand, her slender, fair fingers steadily catching the tablet in mid-air.

"Take a vacation to Europe for these two days. Follow Weber to a private castle in Scotland." Chen Feng leaned back in his chair, looking at her levelly. "Go meet a few people for me. A few old immortals who think they can control the whole world."

Elena did not look down at the screen, just quietly gazed at Chen Feng.

"Your identity is Weber's personal assistant. How he brings you in is his business. After you get in, you have only one mission." Chen Feng paused, his tone suddenly turning cold.

"Record the people sitting at that table—their faces, the words they say—down to the last word for me."

"Understood." Elena nodded in agreement.

"Also." Chen Feng stood up, walked around the desk, and approached Elena. The distance between them was less than half a meter. Chen Feng was a head taller than her, looking at those eyes hiding flames with extreme oppressiveness.

"Since Weber said it's a deadly trap, anything can happen." Chen Feng said, word by word. "If those old guys don't know the rules and think we at Umbrella are easy to squeeze."

Elena raised her chin slightly, waiting for the final instruction.

"No need to ask for instructions. No need to worry about Weber's life or death." Chen Feng patted her shoulder. "Whoever makes you unhappy, burn them. Do you understand?"

The two clusters of flames deep in her pupils instantly surged, and the surrounding air became scorching hot.

"Yes, boss." Elena bowed again. These simple three words passed a death sentence on those century-old families.
