12: Sifting iron sand

Finally, Lu Fan couldn't resist stripping off his clothes and jumping into the Pond, only leaving his head visible.

Because he didn't have abs, just a Beer Gut.

"They aren't streaming my bath, are they?" Lu Fan felt a little awkward thinking about hundreds of millions of people watching him.

The audience in the livestream room was also very cheerful, sending barrage comments to tease him.

"Don't be shy, we all saw it, haha."

"I finally found something I have in common with Great God Lu Fan—we both have one big ab."

"Hahaha, Lu Fan feels more down-to-earth now. How could everyone possibly have an eight-pack?"

"So that's it. The Beer Gut is the Version's Answer."

After some Mental Preparation, Lu Fan simply took a generous bath.

"Anyway, I'm not insecure, and I won't lose anything by being seen."

After scrubbing himself vigorously with water, Lu Fan felt much refreshed, as if reborn, turning into the "Refreshed Guy."

After showering, Lu Fan returned the way he came, to the spot where he found the Mineral Soil. He needed to "wash" the iron sand out of the soil using water.

He carried several loads back and forth using the basket, piling up a large mound of soil next to the Pond.

Lu Fan took the iron ore soil to the Stream and began washing it carefully.

Utilizing the water permeability of the basket, he shook it repeatedly in the water, filtering out the iron sand from the soil.

The audience in the livestream room also grew excited, sending barrage comments: "It really is iron ore! He can Smelt Iron now."

"Lu Fan is going to Smelt Iron! That's amazing!"

"How much iron can this iron sand produce? I'm so looking forward to it. I hope he can forge an Heaven-Reliant Sword."

Bending over to wash the soil continuously, Lu Fan felt like his back was about to break.

But thinking about the benefits of successfully smelting iron, Lu Fan regained his motivation.

After washing for a long time, Lu Fan finally finished processing the Mineral Soil.

He obtained a pile of black iron sand, weighing about two kilograms.

He carefully wrapped the iron sand in leaves, placed it in the basket, and prepared to take it back to the Shelter.

After filling some Bamboo Tubes with fresh water, Lu Fan set off on his return journey.

With the back and forth trip, the sun was about to set, and the sky was stained orange.

Walking along the path, Lu Fan was in a particularly good mood and walked faster and faster.

Zhao Hangjun couldn't help but exclaim, "It's only been three days, but it feels like so much has happened. Contestant Lu Fan is already preparing to Smelt Iron."

Host Wang Tao also boasted, "That's because Contestant Lu Fan's development is too fast."

Yu Rui nodded in agreement: "Great God Lu Fan is amazing. Some contestants haven't even secured food yet."

Meanwhile, the other two Chinese contestants, Special Forces Soldier Ling Yue and female Contestant An Lan, also made good progress in their respective survival domains.

Special Forces Soldier Ling Yue, relying on his excellent Military Skills and rich wilderness survival experience, had already established a sturdy Defensive Structure.

He utilized the surrounding natural resources to create a series of traps and defensive facilities, ensuring his safety in the wild.

His Shelter was hidden in a dense forest, surrounded by carefully arranged Alarm Systems. If a wild beast or an unwelcome guest approached, he could immediately detect it and prepare a response.

The audience in the livestream room praised Ling Yue's Defensive Structure endlessly.

Wang Tao excitedly said, "Contestant Ling Yue's Defensive Structure is practically a small Military Fortress!"

Zhao Hangjun also nodded in praise: "Contestant Ling Yue's Military Skills are incredible. These traps and defensive facilities can effectively protect his safety."

Ling Yue was even more adept at finding food. He set up multiple traps and caught many wild animals, not only solving his basic needs but also stocking up on food for emergencies.

His actions were swift and efficient. Every hunt was like a carefully planned Military Operation, thrilling the audience.

The audience in the livestream room sent barrage comments: "Ling Yue is amazing! Truly worthy of being a Special Forces Soldier!"

"Watching him hunt is practically art!"

"That Andre from Pretty Country, he hasn't discovered anything else, but he's quite professional at starving."

"Hahaha, you're really mean, upstairs."

Wang Tao couldn't help but praise, "Contestant Ling Yue's survival ability is also very strong."

Zhao Hangjun analyzed: "The training of a Special Forces Soldier gives him a huge advantage in wilderness survival."

An Lan, on the other hand, used her Medical Knowledge to collect many useful medicinal herbs, and these herbs were all subject to the ten thousand times rebate in reality, being received by the national medical department.

Then, she continuously improved her Shelter using surrounding plants and stones.

She was not to be outdone in finding food. She discovered several edible wild plants and even managed to catch some small aquatic creatures, diversifying her diet.

An Lan's survival skills were not only reflected on the material level; she also paid great attention to regulating her mental state.

She placed some pretty stones and wildflowers near the Shelter, creating a comfortable psychological environment for herself.

Her optimism and resilience deeply moved the audience in the livestream room.

The audience sent barrage comments: "An Lan is fantastic, beautiful and strong!"

"Look at the Shelter she built, it's so creative!"

Yu Rui also said excitedly, "Contestant An Lan is truly amazing. Her survival skills and optimistic spirit are worth learning from."

Zhao Hangjun exclaimed, "These three contestants each have their own characteristics: Lu Fan's professionalism and intelligence, Ling Yue's focus and efficiency, and An Lan's resilience and wisdom. They all show us the demeanor of Huaguo's younger generation."

Wang Tao summarized: "Indeed, they not only excel in survival skills but also bring us immense encouragement on a spiritual level. They are role models for all of us!"

Returning to the Shelter, Lu Fan sat down and massaged his legs and hands.

"What a fulfilling day. I'm exhausted."

Some Foreign Viewers popped up again.

"It's so stupid to carry back so much Trash."

"Thinking of smelting iron out here in the wilderness is simply Wishful Thinking."

"I want to see what he does when he realizes he worked for nothing."

But the Huaguo Audience didn't tolerate it.

"Just because your own contestants are incompetent, do you think our country's contestants are the same?"

"They are clearly displaying sour grapes."

"Yes, they're getting desperate."

After a busy day, Lu Fan prepared to reward himself well.
