104: The Final Battle (I)

"Buzz buzz buzz..."

A large swarm of various ferocious insects converged from all directions.

Greene watched silently, waiting.

The enemy had arrived.

"Indeed, there's more than just Black Head Demon as an enemy."

Greene mused inwardly:

"Hmph, launching an attack at this time, close to noon, are they afraid I'll run away?"

As time approached noon, Greene's visibility now extended to a five-meter radius.

The same was true for the two Black Wizards.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..."

Greene waited until the swarm of insects approached within two meters.

With a single Cyclone Cross Slash, he cut down all the insects within three meters.

His feet, however, were rooted to the spot, not moving an inch... Greene's Magic Gold Greatsword was 2.1 meters long, and with his arm length, three meters was Greene's absolute domain.

Greene's Magic Gold Greatsword was also a wizardry creation comparable to a high-level enchanted item, inscribed with numerous wizardry runes that enhanced its sturdiness, sharpness, magic-breaking, and Life Aura conduction, allowing it to break through ordinary objects with a single strike... "Buzz buzz buzz..."

Countless insects swarmed from all directions, like waves, threatening to engulf and drown Greene.

But Greene was like a reef in the sea; no matter how strong the storm, he stood firm and unmoving.

Three meters.

It was like a line of death.

Beyond three meters from Greene, the insect tide was blocked, unable to advance an inch.

"Damn it..."

"I told you, with Devil Jordan's great reputation, could his disciple be bad?"

"Ender Weill, it's your turn. My little darlings can't do anything to this Grand Knight."

The Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre said, his heart aching. In just a few minutes, he had lost a third of the insects he had painstakingly cultivated. These were his treasures, grown by eating his flesh and drinking his blood, and it pained him greatly.

"No matter, let's first exhaust some of his Life Aura and stamina. Once he's exhausted, I'll go up and decide the outcome of the battle."

"Hmph, you'd better be effective. When the time comes, finish him off with swift and decisive means, and don't give Devil Jordan a chance to intervene."

...After the Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre finished speaking, he immediately changed his strategy.

The insect swarm no longer charged forward in waves to their deaths.

Instead, they became like scattered skirmishers, flying towards Greene in twos and threes, with vast distances between them.

Clearly, this was an extremely disgusting tactic.

Its purpose was to force Greene to expend more stamina to intercept these insects.

The Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre's lips curled into a cold smile:

How will you deal with this move, little lamb? This kind of micro-management severely tests a Wizard's Spiritual Power control and consumes a huge amount of Spiritual Power, but the effect is also very good. This is an overt strategy, forcing the opponent into a war of attrition, eventually leading to exhaustion and defeat.

The Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre had once successfully exhausted and killed more than a dozen Grand Knights and Guardian Knights, and slaughtered seven or eight White Wizard teams with this micro-management of magical insects, earning him the 10th spot on the Plant Heart Wizard Academy's gang hit list...

Greene observed the orderly insect swarm, moving in and out like an army.

He had a rough idea of what he was up against.

This was the signature tactic of the Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre, a ferocious Black Wizard ranked in the top ten of the black list.

Greene quickly recalled the information on the Insect-raising Wizard Pierre in his mind.

Name: Pierre ~ Leicester ~ Umongkar

Alias: Slave of Insects

Wizard Level: Senior Intermediate Wizard Apprentice

Bloodline: None

Affiliation: Black Wizard Team — Core Member of the Bloodbone King Pirate Group

Achievements: Killed 12 Intermediate Wizard Apprentices, hundreds of Low-level Wizard Apprentices, 7 Advanced Enchanted Beasts...

Evaluation: Selfish and extreme personality, extremely twisted, accompanied by insects, calls himself "Slave of the Swarm," not only feeds himself to insects but also uses humans as insect nests, all controlled magical insects can be micro-managed, has participated in five "Black Wizard Frenzies," is relatively old, has successfully escaped several pursuits by Advanced Wizard Apprentices, direct kill recommended...

"Buzz buzz buzz..."

Several magical insects, like flies, slowly flew towards Greene, yet surprisingly, they met no resistance.

One fly-like magical insect landed steadily on Greene's left shoulder, and just as it was about to use its ferocious proboscis to feast on the fresh, magic-filled blood of the White Wizard, it exerted too much force and almost broke its own proboscis.

Greene's Bio-armor was not just for show.

Why did Greene suspect this was a type of mech from the Wizard World?

It was because this was a fully enclosed Bio-armor; in its fully equipped state, not a single piece of Greene's skin would be exposed.

To attack Greene, one must first break through the weak points of this Bio-armor.

The weakest points of this bio-armor no. 8 were the black vine lines between the main components, which could withstand wizardry and physical attacks below 20 Intensity.

These small fly-like magical insects, with their strongest attack Intensity not exceeding 10, couldn't even break the defense, let alone harm Greene?

...The Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre watched all this with a stiff expression.

Several inconspicuous magical insects mixed in the swarm, but with stronger attack power, capable of reaching above 20 Intensity, were captured as threats by Greene's keen battle spirit and were directly cut down with a sword...

However, the remaining magical insects whose attack power was insufficient to break the defense were directly ignored by Greene. This tactic of catching the big fish and letting the small ones go completely countered the Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre.

"Ender Weill..."

"We're in big trouble..."

The Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre's expression became extremely grim:

"This is a Bloodline Great Knight who has cultivated an extremely strong battle spirit!"

"And he's even wearing the Plant Heart Wizard Academy's strongest Bio-armor."

"Damn it..."

"I said, why was that Devil Jordan so confident in throwing us two to a greenhorn for sparring?"

"So this greenhorn is their academy's so-called Bio-armor Experimenter!"

"Although he has fewer methods, only the brute force of a Knight, with the protection of this Bio-armor, he's like an iron turtle. How can we fight him?"

..."And there's a very important point."

The Insect-raising Wizard — Pierre now also put away his disdainful gaze and began to look serious.

"I know some information: this Bio-armor not only has extremely strong life-saving capabilities, but any Wizard Apprentice qualified to wear this Bio-armor is no simple character."

"From the combat records currently disclosed, these so-called Bio-armor Experimenters have at least the combat power of an Advanced Wizard Apprentice."

"However..."

"From the current situation, the greenhorn in front of us has not yet completed all his training, and his combat power and fighting experience have not yet met the standard. And we are now part of his training."

"I've learned about Devil Jordan; in his youth, he was also someone who licked blood from the knife's edge, extremely advocating the charm of extreme combat, almost always able to win against the strong with the weak, making huge progress."

"Therefore..."

"Based on this, our combined strength must exceed that of the Bio-armor Experimenter opposite us, but not by too much."

"Ender Weill, this time, we really need to be serious and cooperate sincerely."

"Otherwise, capsizing in the gutter is inevitable."
