105: The Final Battle (Part 2)

“The situation has changed. Alter the tactics. You go directly.”

“Ender Weill, as soon as you go up there, hit him hard. Use your second head.”

“My darlings will follow right after. As long as you can break through his defensive armor, I can turn him into a clean, white skeleton within 30 seconds.”

The Insect-raising Wizard, Pierre, was so excited that an unnatural flush appeared on his face.

“Hmph…”

“You'd best make a Fated Contract, otherwise I won't trust you.”

“If we're going to make one, let's make a Fated Contract together, that way neither of us has to worry about the other.”

“Good!”

“By the great Scales of Truth above, I, with my true name and my destiny, hereby establish this contract, agreeing that neither of us shall harm the other within one month. In the upcoming hour of battle, we shall exert our full strength to jointly eliminate our common enemy.”

“There shall be no desertion, mutual betrayal, or half-hearted effort in battle. Should this contract be violated, destiny shall be lost, sins shall take effect, and death shall be instantaneous.”

…The two of them jointly made the most venomous oath.

This way,

the cooperation would be more solid, and the foundation of trust for the battle would be established.

For Black Wizards, any paper contract was untrustworthy; they had all, more or less, violated certain paper contracts.

To have a contract that both parties recognized, one could only use the great Scales of Truth as a witness and make the most vicious contract with extremely strict conditions, only then could a foundation of trust be established.

After all, the Scales of Truth, whose power permeated the entire Wizard World, was the most just and selfless. To violate a contract under Its nose was truly like an old man hanging himself—seeking death… “Thump, thump, thump…”

Heavy footsteps trampled on the muddy water of the swamp, creating a unique sound.

Due to the inconvenient terrain, the speed of advance was not fast.

In the mist, the sound arrived before the person.

“Little lamb, when did you become a coward?”

“Where’s your knightly spirit? Come out and fight me.”

“Hiding on a rock, how can you avenge your brother?”

“Or have you been scared so badly that your courage is shattered, and you no longer dare to seek revenge?”

“Then today I shall enjoy your little heart, haha…”

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier slowly approached Green, while Pierre used the sounds made by Ender Weill to silently outflank him from the other side.

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier was still provoking Green with words, attempting to lure him out of the advantageous terrain of the Goat Boulder… Green merely watched silently.

He made no reaction, but under the protection of his armor, no one could see that Green’s eyes were growing redder and redder, and the knuckles of his two large hands were turning white from excessive force.

A huge figure, two and a half meters tall, cloaked in a black robe and wearing advanced magical armor underneath, slowly emerged from the darkness.

The moment he entered the five-meter visibility zone, the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier clearly saw Green in his black armor, and Green also clearly saw the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier’s two grotesque heads.

It was at this juncture of light and shadow that Green seized the opportunity.

No sooner said than done.

Green erupted with full power, the killing intent and death intent he had accumulated all morning gushing forth.

He pushed off with both feet, leaving two foot-deep footprints on the Goat Boulder;

With a leaping overhead slash, the Magic Gold Greatsword, shimmering with bright silver light, directly cleaved towards the Two-Headed Wizard’s large left head.

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier was startled. He had been planning to numb Green with words while secretly accumulating power for his killing move, intending to strike Green hard once he got close.

Who would have expected Green to be so decisive, also embracing the idea of striking first to gain the upper hand?

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier immediately stopped the action of channeling magic power and Life Aura into his right, second head.

The killing move was not yet complete; preserving his life was paramount… “Blood Flame Fireball, Haste.”

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier first silently cast his most proficient intermediate wizardry, a 5*8*1.2 = 48-degree blood-colored fireball that flew towards Green, attacking where the enemy must defend.

Then, he unleashed the maximum power of his Life Aura, activating the bloodline limit. The brightness of his black-red Life Aura immediately intensified by a third. The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier raised his greatsword, filled with Life Aura, and placed it before his head.

At this moment, Green’s attack arrived.

Green ignored the blood-colored fireball, instead using his front chest armor to take the hit directly. The silver Magic Gold Greatsword still cleaved directly towards the Two-Headed Wizard’s large left head.

“Zzzz…”

An ear-piercing metallic grinding sound rang out, sharp enough to shatter the eardrums of ordinary people.

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier sank half a meter into the swamp, the force was simply too great.

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier instinctively wanted to deflect the force, otherwise, if his body was driven deep into the swamp, it would be troublesome.

“Sliiiip…”

The incredibly powerful silver Magic Gold Greatsword was successfully deflected by the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier’s black greatsword.

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier breathed a sigh of relief in his heart.

This fiercest wave of offense had been blocked.

“He has lost his long-accumulated sharpness; he is no longer a threat,” the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier thought to himself.

“The little lamb is still inexperienced. If it were me, I would definitely push down with all my might and drive the enemy deep into the swamp.”

“Hehe…”

“The advantage is mine. This is a sure win…”

… “Ah…”

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier suddenly felt—

An incomparable sharp pain assailing his body;

A violent tearing sensation emanating from his soul.

The Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier hastily made the best choice, picking the direction he perceived as safest, and fled with all his might.

He knew he was severely wounded; if he didn’t run now, he would lose his life.

Green, with an indifferent expression, leaped back to the top of the Goat Boulder and did not pursue the Black Wizard.

“Exploding Fireball, Condense.”

A fist-sized, light-red fireball emerged, hurtling at eighty miles per hour towards a hideous and terrifying head.

With a “bang,” the fireball shattered the head, and the remaining fragments turned to ash under the scorching flames… It turned out that

Green’s target had always been the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier’s second head, the product of his bloodline awakening.

Green had merely played a trick of feigning retreat to lure the enemy, and attacking the west to draw attention from the east, successfully disabling the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier’s strongest trump card.

According to the academy’s records, the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier’s second head could unleash an attack comparable in power to a 0-ring Advanced Wizardry of 70 degrees, using its own bloodline, magic power, and Life Aura as nourishment.

And Green,

had only exchanged one of his breastplates for the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier’s strongest trump card.

At the cost of his own minor injury, he had inflicted a severe injury on the Two-Headed Wizard - Si'ende'weier.

This deal was not a loss…
