131: The End of the Dark Wizard (Part 3)
It was the sixth day of being trapped in the cave.
The concentration of smoke in the underground cavern continued to rise.
Even the secret room began to be infiltrated by a little smoke.
Although the Wizards spared no expense in consuming magic stones, operating the Wizard Array at maximum power, it was still futile.
At noon that day, the five Peak Wizard Apprentices were holding a meeting.
Blood Bear Wizard tore off a large piece of charred roasted meat and said with dissatisfaction, "The cook you sent is really bad."
"The meat is burnt; how can anyone eat this?"
"Hmph..."
"You have the nerve to say that. Your appetite alone is half of all of ours combined."
"Eat if you want, or don't."
Blood Shark Wizard retorted unceremoniously.
In the previous battle with Corrosion Poison Rong, most of the Black Wizards' front-line Grand Knights had died, and the remaining ones were fragile Wizards hiding in the back, naturally having much smaller appetites.
Unlike Blood Bear, this newly arrived Bloodline Great Knight, with his three-meter height and one-meter eighty-five waistline, clearly had an exceptionally large appetite.
"Hehe..."
"Are you jealous of my Bloodline?"
Blood Bear Wizard said proudly, "Who in the entire Mist Coast doesn't know?"
"The Arroldar's Bear Bloodline I awakened is of the Fourth-Rank Morning Star Wizard level, primarily focusing on physical enhancement and devouring digestion. The more I eat, the stronger my combat power becomes."
"I never explain to those who are jealous of me how powerful my Bloodline is!"
"That is a mighty power they will always yearn for but never reach."
The atmosphere instantly cooled down.
No one paid attention to this boastful idiot.
Everyone ate in silence.
The fresh vegetables and berries had long been consumed. Everyone was now eating the corpses of Corrosion Poison Rong and Blood Rong.
It was unknown how much longer they would have to stay in this underground cavern.
Therefore, eating the most perishable meats first was a good choice.
After a while, everyone finished their meal.
They also exchanged opinions on the current situation. There was nothing new today, and no new information had arrived.
Soon after, everyone fell silent and quietly meditated.
"Pfft..."
A peculiar smell spread throughout the forty-square-meter secret room.
Fortunately, everyone had covered their mouths and noses with damp cloth strips, so no one paid attention.
"Pfft..."
"Pfft..."
"Pfft..."
But this "pfft" sound was like a signal gun, followed by continuous "pfft" sounds vying for attention, and the smell in the air became increasingly strange...
"Damn it..."
"Which bastard has diarrhea? Don't they know to go outside?"
"Get out of here."
"Shameless thing."
Blood Bear Wizard could no longer hold it in and stood up, shouting loudly.
Perhaps it was genuine shame; perhaps it was a genuine need; the Wizards in the secret room opened the door and rushed out, including the other four Peak Wizard Apprentices.
Blood Bear Wizard looked at the empty secret room and realized that this was an AOE full-field taunt.
"What should I do?"
Blood Bear Wizard also felt a little scared.
"I just provoked so many people."
"Those four guys won't ambush me from behind, will they?"
But soon, Blood Bear Wizard no longer had the mind to overthink.
"Grumble grumble..."
His stomach also began to rebel.
"Not good..."
Blood Bear Wizard immediately disregarded everything else, opened the secret room door, and then slammed it shut.
This last clean place could not be contaminated again.
Running wildly, Blood Bear Wizard quickly found the other four Peak Wizard Apprentices. They were gathered around a bonfire, forming a circle with a two-meter gap in the middle, engaging in some indescribable activities... Blood Bear Wizard also joined in... He quickly took off his lower body armor, pulled up his pants, squatted down, and joined the ranks of the indescribable great event... "Bang bang bang..."
Like a string of firecrackers, Blood Bear Wizard unleashed a torrent, with an extraordinary momentum, completely overshadowing the other four Peak Wizard Apprentices... Everyone's faces showed a constipated expression, looking very unpleasant. Everyone wanted to speak, but dared not...
"Whew..."
It was Blood Bear Wizard who first broke the deadlock.
"Damn it, who gave us laxatives..."
"Blood Shark, was it you guys?"
"Are you trying to kill everyone?"
Everyone looked at Blood Bear with the eyes of an idiot.
Blood Shark retorted, "Would I poison myself? Are you stupid? Or am I stupid?"
Blood Cat stopped their new round of arguments.
"Alright, with a great enemy before us, let's not fight among ourselves."
"This must be the Heart of Plants's conspiracy."
"I just don't know how they managed to put laxatives in our food?"
"Could it be mixed in the smoke?"
"Slap..."
Bloodhound Wizard slapped his butt, killing a swarm of flower-backed giant mosquitoes. His palm was covered in bloodstains, and his exposed butt felt a tingling itch.
"Damn..."
"Why are there so many mosquitoes?"
"There weren't any yesterday..."
"Slap..."
"Slap..."
"Slap..."
The sound of slapping rose one after another, and even the slapping sounds of other Wizards in the distance joined in. Instantly, the entire underground cavern was filled with slapping sounds.
If an uninformed person heard it, they might think these people were engaged in some inappropriate activities...
"Things have gotten serious."
Blood Cat Wizard was the first to notice something was wrong.
"There are too many mosquitoes; this is very unusual."
He caught a mosquito and examined it carefully by the firelight.
"These are the troublesome flower-backed giant mosquitoes unique to the Corrosion Poison Swamp."
"Not good!"
As if he suddenly remembered something.
"Go, quickly check the food and water sources."
"Everyone, immediately check the stored food and water sources nearby, quickly, quickly, quickly..."
Half an hour later, the five exhausted individuals gathered in the secret room.
All the Wizards also dared not stay outside for long.
In just that half an hour, each person had slapped to death 500 flower-backed giant mosquitoes and had 100 to 200 milliliters of blood sucked away.
There were simply too many mosquitoes outside.
Their numbers started in the millions...
The faces of all the Black Wizards were very grim.
Blood Cat Wizard bit the bullet and informed everyone of the situation:
"We all underestimated the White Wizards of the Heart of Plants."
"Now, all our food, including water, everything outside the secret room, has been eroded and contaminated by the flower-backed giant mosquitoes."
"The flower-backed giant mosquitoes laid their larvae in the food and water and released their unique mosquito venom, which is also why we have diarrhea."
"Those food and water cannot be used anymore."
"Now, in the secret room, only a small amount of supplies remains. Food, mostly dry rations, can last for half a month."
"But there's no clean water. There's no clean water stored in the secret room, only less than 100 pounds of rye beer. Even with careful use, this will only last two days."
"A critical moment of life and death has arrived."
"Let's discuss what to do."
