48: Two years

To achieve the best learning results, Green, knowing his limitations, sought out Oakes and Ally to discuss and plan.

After a full five days, they finally produced a three-year study plan.

With a comprehensive plan in place, Green once again embarked on a period of focused study, oblivious to the outside world.

He had the demeanor of someone who had unified his own small building, regardless of spring, summer, or autumn… In the blink of an eye, two years had passed.

During these two years, Green maintained a fixed routine.

Aside from occasionally attending internal seminars for reserve talents and checking in at Old Moore Botanical Garden,

He spent every day commuting between his dormitory, the dining hall, Mentor Jordan's training ground, classes, the library, and Laboratory 13.

He also attended the Iron Triangle's monthly gatherings to chat and eat.

Because there was a Demonized Plants Master exchange conference with a market in the middle of the month, the gathering was also set for that day.

The middle of each month became Green's happiest and most relaxed day… On this day in the middle of the month,

In the morning, Green would go to Laboratory 13 to practice processing potion ingredients. Since entering the Grade A Laboratory, Green had begun learning to process ingredients for various low- and intermediate-level Wizard Potions.

While waiting for the auditors to arrive—they usually came around 9 o'clock—Green would go collect his monthly resource allocation.

Then he would return to his dormitory, place the resources there, and invite Oakes, Ally, and Bigg.

They would go together to the Demonized Plants Exchange Hall's market to see all sorts of new things, listen to various rumors from the Academy, and discuss major events on the Mist Coast.

For example, where a precious Demonized Plants had appeared;

How a certain Advanced Wizard Apprentice successfully achieved a triple kill against peers, becoming a Peak Wizard Apprentice and making a name for himself;

How a Formal Wizard engaged in a series of fierce battles with the Pirate King—a Formal-level Black Wizard—in the Mist Islands, was defeated, lost an arm, and fled;

How a certain Low-level Wizard Apprentice, while exploring the Mist Forest, luckily discovered a fist-sized piece of Mana Adamantite, sold it, and gained tens of thousands of magic stones, achieving financial freedom in one fell swoop… At noon, Green and his friends would find a place to eat, usually the Beef Burger Shack.

Occasionally, they would also have hot pot, barbecue, or shabu-shabu in the dormitory building. These were all dishes Green had brought from the Aqua Blue Star to the Wizard World to alleviate the boredom of his studies.

They would chat idly while eating, sometimes engaging in heated discussions about hot topics.

It was like a tea party.

They would eat and drink until three in the afternoon, then disperse… either to attend another gathering or to return to work and study… In the afternoon, Green would usually stroll through the Botanical Garden of the Wizard Academy.

He would look at various peculiar Demonized Plantss, smell the fragrance of the soil, and the fresh scent of the plants.

He would wander in nature, letting the natural atmosphere cleanse his inner restlessness and anxiety… Or, he would stand before the crystal window of the library on the fourth floor of the Wizard Tower, quietly gazing at the distant beautiful scenery and the clouds in the sky, admiring the various beautiful and ever-changing mist clouds.

This was Green's quiet time alone… In the evening, Green would lavishly treat himself at the Beef Burger Shack.

He couldn't eat freely during lunch gatherings with friends, so he naturally didn't enjoy it as much.

In the evening, Green would eat his fill by himself.

Classic delicacies never get old… As a foodie, life without delicious food is incomplete.

To taste the flavors of his hometown, Green even used his 'money power'… In the free zone on the first floor, north district, he long-term hired an exclusive chef specifically to cook various hometown dishes for him:

Stir-fried pork with chili;

Braised pork;

Scrambled eggs with tomatoes;

Braised fish;

Glutinous rice ribs;

Steamed sea bass;

Twice-cooked pork;

Boiled sliced pork;

White cut chicken;

Pork trotter rice;

Braised chicken with mushrooms;

Old duck vermicelli soup;

Pork rib soup;

...Green, stuffed from eating, would slowly stroll under the night sky.

He would quietly admire the beauty of the night… In the distance, the dark forest and the 24-hour brightly lit Wizard Tower complemented each other.

On one side was dangerous darkness and the unknown;

On the other was peaceful light and the light of humanity.

Whenever this happened, fueled by the satisfaction of a good meal, Green's spirit would become exceptionally active, and his thoughts would wander further and further.

He would think about the uncertain future, the current difficulties, his family on the Aqua Blue Star, and the unknown journey of life… There were also some major events during these two years.

But Green only cared about the things around him.

For this, Green even specially wrote a book—"Green's wizard's path Chronicle."

It began its era with Green's entry into Plant Heart Wizard Academy and the start of his exploration of the wizard's path.

wizard's path Year 12, Green's 12th year at Plant Heart Wizard Academy.

July, Westley successfully certified as a Two-Star Apothecary Apprentice, taking one year and one month, also a genius, congratulations, anxiety;

December, Adler successfully broke through to Grand Knight and returned, Green reached the Grand Knight threshold, Mentor Jordan began providing assistance… "Green, have you thought it through?"

"This path to breaking through to Grand Knight is not easy. Why don't you settle down a bit more?"

Mentor Jordan tried to persuade him. Green had just reached the Grand Knight threshold and immediately came to him to activate the breakthrough assistance package, which made Mentor Jordan a little uneasy.

"Adler also settled for half a year before preparing to break through, but he still failed."

"You must think carefully. There is only one chance, and my special assistance is only effective the first time."

...Green took a deep breath.

"Mentor Jordan, I have thought it through."

"Strike while the iron is hot, or your resolve will wane."

"I want to seize this momentum to break through."

"Besides, Mentor Jordan, I'm about to break through to Intermediate Wizard Apprentice…"

..."That fast?"

"Indeed, you've been a reserve talent for two years now, so it's about time."

"Alright then, you need to arrange your affairs properly."

"This time, you'll be in seclusion for three months."

Mentor Jordan knew it was indeed time when he heard Green's last sentence.

His set of breakthrough assistance packages only had a very significant effect during the Low-level Wizard Apprentice stage.

Green was running out of time…
