Green walked out of Old Moler's shop.
He let out a long breath.
Green had been extremely nervous just now.
He was afraid of making a fool of himself by performing poorly, or giving a muddled, irrelevant answer.
That would have let Oakes's expectations and help down.
Coming back to his senses, Green realized that his undershirt was soaked through.
However, Green was quite satisfied with his answers just now; they were polite, well-mannered, logical, and well-reasoned. He honestly felt he had exceeded his usual performance.
It was all thanks to his rich interview experience back on Blue Star that Green didn't lose his composure, but instead completed the interview confidently and steadily.
Of course, the key points Oakes provided were also very important.
Before the interview, Oakes had told Green.
The interview questions would consist of two fixed questions, one impromptu question, plus Green's prior knowledge of the chief examiner—Old Moler's personality.
Oakes said that Old Moler was concerned with his image and loved to hear people praise his Old Moore Botanical Garden.
This was like Green knowing half the answers beforehand; the rest depended on his on-the-spot performance.
With a hand full of trump cards, how could he possibly lose?
That would truly be fate, something that couldn't be forced... Green didn't know where the Battle Axe Bar was.
But he grabbed a passerby and immediately asked for directions to the Battle Axe Bar.
The Battle Axe Bar was quite famous in this Magical Plant Cultivator exchange hall; any passerby would know where it was.
When Green arrived at the Battle Axe Bar, located in the northeast corner of the hall, he realized how truly popular this bar was.
The vast bar spanned nearly five hundred square meters.
There were dozens of round tables in the bar, and hundreds of high stools in front of the circular bar counter, all occupied.
A crowd of people was gathered in front of the bar's liquor counter, pointing and gesticulating at a white crystal display screen hanging high above the bar cabinet.
Green walked forward curiously, squeezed into the crowd, and examined the display screen.
He found that it seemed to be something akin to a mission board.
This mission board was divided into three blocks, distinguished by green, yellow, and red colors.
The surrounding Wizard Apprentices were noisy, and the information Green received was fragmented, so he hadn't yet understood the meaning of this board... Just then, a familiar arm skillfully wrapped around Green's shoulder. Green knew it was Oakes.
Indeed.
Green turned around and saw Oakes's luxuriant golden hair and brilliant smiling face.
"Hi, Green..."
"Do you know what this is?"
Oakes pointed to the crystal display screen above.
Green shook his head. Although he had some guesses, Green still wanted to hear Oakes's detailed explanation.
"Hey, Barbary..."
"Get me two Bloody Marys, put it on my tab."
Oakes pulled Green and plopped down on a stool that its previous occupant had just vacated.
"Let's sit down and talk properly..."
"Oh, Green, tell me first, how was the interview? Did you pass?"
"If you didn't pass, I still have a few slightly lesser places that don't require an interview. We can go visit them directly later, and you can choose whichever one you like."
"The results aren't out yet; the admission list will be posted at noon," Green said truthfully.
"Alright, then we'll discuss it when the interview results are out."
..."There's still some time until noon. Let me introduce you to this Magical Plant Cultivator exchange hall; you'll be coming here often in the future."
"You can tell its purpose from its name. It mainly provides a place for Magical Plant Cultivators to communicate and learn."
"However, over time, it has also expanded to include some new functions."
"Because the Magical Plant Cultivator group forms the main body of the low-level and Intermediate Wizard Apprentices of the entire Plant Heart Wizard Academy."
"So, now this hall has evolved into a sacred place for communication among the low-level and Intermediate Wizard Apprentices of the entire Plant Heart Wizard Academy," Oakes began from the beginning.
"The exchange hall is now divided into three main parts,"
"The first is 'Old Moler's Plant Hut,' where I just took you. That area is the hall's flea market."
"Those with average strength set up stalls..."
"Those with strong backing open shops like 'Old Moler's Plant Hut'..."
"In the future, if you need to buy or sell any resources, you can go there: potions, Demonized Plantss, magical items, armor, weapons... and so on, a wide variety, everything is available."
"You could say this..."
"At Plant Heart Wizard Academy, if you can't find something in the flea market, don't bother looking elsewhere; it won't be anywhere else."
"Of course, I'm referring to resources for the low-level and Intermediate Wizard Apprentice stages. Resources for Advanced Wizard Apprentices and above are in other places."
"Hmm, that's indeed good. I can go there to buy things in the future." Green nodded in agreement... "The second place is where we are now, the Battle Axe Bar," Oakes continued.
"You must have noticed that many of the Wizard Apprentices here have a cold demeanor, even carrying a hint of killing intent. They are the so-called Battle Wizards."
"And the Battle Axe Bar is the main base for Battle Wizards, it's the Battle Wizard exchange center."
"The crystal display screen you just saw is the mission board for Battle Wizards, all of which are tasks that require leaving the safe zone of Plant Heart Wizard Academy."
...Pointing to the three-color crystal display screen, Oakes slowly said,
"The green text indicates low-risk missions..."
"They are generally less dangerous, and Low-level Wizard Apprentices can complete them if their luck isn't too bad."
"Of course, the rewards are also low."
"The yellow text indicates medium-risk missions, which involve facing dangers at the Intermediate Wizard Apprentice level."
"They usually involve fighting."
"Once fighting occurs, the risks become uncontrollable, so Wizard Apprentices usually form teams to complete them; few go it alone."
"The red text indicates high-risk missions, which involve facing dangers at the Advanced Wizard Apprentice level."
"These missions are usually in the Mist Islands because our academy has several resource points in the Mist Islands, and there are also many various wild resources there. Such missions are high-risk, high-reward."
"You understand, it's not easy to snatch food from the Black Wizard pirates in the Mist Islands. Only Battle Wizard teams composed entirely of Senior Intermediate Wizard Apprentices or led by an Advanced Wizard Apprentice dare to take on such missions."
...Oakes continued his explanation:
"The third place is the Home of Demonized Plantss. That place's function is similar to the Battle Axe Bar, except that it's the main venue for Magical Plant Cultivators."
"The promotion, assessment, mission acceptance, and reward collection for Magical Plant Cultivators all happen there."
"Don't forget to go there later to collect your reward for becoming a Junior Magical Plant Cultivator."
