223: Final Farewell

"Grimm!"

"You're back?!"

Adler immediately gave him a bear hug.

"One hundred and fifty years have passed, and you've been completely out of touch. I thought something had happened to you!"

"What's wrong?"

"After I left, did none of the Wizards from my batch return?"

Grimm asked.

"No, Grimm."

"Not just your batch; none of Mentor Joyce's batch have returned either. They only sent a few letters back, but it's normal, really. Those who went to the Middle-earth Continent Wizard World, how could they ever come back?"

"Once they've seen the bustling great cities, who would care about a backward rural place like Mist Coast?"

"I care! Haven't I just returned?"

"Adler, why are you the only one at the Academy? Where's Ally?"

Grimm completely ignored the Formal Wizards standing in a row; they were all his students and juniors.

"Don't worry, Ally is fine. She's currently living in the Western Development Area."

"Grimm, let's go, let's have a drink."

"Alright."

The two returned to their old spot together. One hundred and fifty years had passed since leaving Plant Heart Academy, and there hadn't been any major changes, except that the outer walls of the Wizard Tower had become more weathered and richer in history... Through his conversation with Adler, Grimm learned that.

Over the past hundred years or so, Plant Heart Academy had developed very well. Its status as the center of civilization in the Mist Coast region had never been shaken; instead, it had flourished even more.

And rightly so. With such a solid foundation laid by Grimm before, coupled with the acquisition of so much destiny, it would be strange if Heart of Plants hadn't developed well.

Currently, Plant Heart Academy has about 100,000 Wizard Apprentices, 36 Formal Wizards, and one Tier 2 Wizard.

Oh, now we need to add Grimm, who is at the peak of Tier 3. When everyone learned that Grimm had actually become a Great Wizard at the peak of Tier 3, they were all stunned!

This strength was unparalleled on the Mist Coast!

And this Tier 2 Wizard was none other than Grimm's first disciple, Forbol. He had contributed greatly to the research of Super Carpet Plant technology, naturally benefiting from it and acquiring a good deal of destiny.

As for Ally, she had moved to the Western Development Zone thirty years ago to oversee the new mineral veins there. It was said that the Academy had discovered a large, rich Huanggang Stone mine there. This ore is an excellent material for building Wizard Towers.

Plant Heart Academy was preparing to build a new Wizard Tower there to protect the interests of the large mine.

Grimm took some time to fly west and bring Ally back.

And so it was.

Grimm and his two old friends reminisced daily, and he also guided them in their cultivation.

Grimm gave Adler the bloodline cultivation method for Formal Wizards and beyond, instructing him to pass it on to his disciples to further develop Mentor Jordan's lineage.

At the same time, Grimm also compiled a large portion of Wizard knowledge from Tier 0 to Tier 3 and placed it in Plant Heart Academy, greatly enhancing the Academy's foundation.

The title of civilization center became even more resounding, truly deserved!

Most importantly, after consulting Ally and Adler, Grimm received their agreement to extend their lifespans, giving them more time to pursue their dreams.

So, Grimm gave them some Fruits of Life, borne from a Tier 3 Ancient Elf Tree. Ally and Adler both gained 999 years of lifespan... Three years later.

They reunited for three years, and enjoyed three years of happiness. Grimm cherished these three years with friends and siblings, but the final farewell still came.

Grimm bid farewell to his two old friends and all the students of Plant Heart Academy.

He embarked on a journey that was solely his own.

For the rest of his life, he would not return here.

Looking at the crowd seeing him off, Grimm waved his hand behind his back, leaving everyone with his departing figure.

"Go back."

"Sending a friend off for a thousand miles, there must eventually be a parting."

"After this journey of many years, may each of us be well!"
