206: Shadows (Part 3)

"No!"

"I'm not going to any of them..."

Green Anglet stretched lazily and said nonchalantly.

Now, he had the strength and the qualification to refuse things he didn't care about or wasn't satisfied with—perhaps this was a form of freedom!

"I have just completed my Bio-Steel Battle Suit 1.0, and I am currently busy conducting practical combat tests and tactical drills. I don't have time!"

(Bio-armor is equipment for the Wizard Apprentice stage. To differentiate, the equipment level for Formal Wizards has been renamed the Bio-Steel Battle Suit.)

"Help me push them all back. I'm busy lately."

"Understood, Lord Green Anglet."

...Green Anglet looked at the first version of the Bio-Steel Battle Suit before him, a satisfied smile appearing on his face, while he secretly thought with pride:

"Hehe..."

"It's a good thing I, Green Anglet, was clever. Over these 10 years, I dragged Teacher Joyce around like a donkey, and conveniently subdivided the research and development tasks for the Bio-Steel Battle Suit, distributing them to nearly 100 Formal Wizards who wanted to go to the Middle-earth Continent."

"This was a truly great Wisdom Tree Project. Hundreds of Formal Wizards, with each one contributing no less than three years of work, not to mention having Teacher Joyce, a Master-level figure of the Botany School, overseeing it. With the resource support of the entire Mist Coast, it was successfully completed in just ten short years."

Green Anglet joyfully stroked the Bio-Steel Battle Suit's cold, steel exterior, his eyes filled with affection, as if petting a beloved large toy.

This piece of equipment, highly futuristic and similar to iron man on Aqua Blue Star, was Green Anglet's favorite. This Bio-Steel Battle Suit was destined to follow Green Anglet in his campaigns across the Mist Coast, helping him brave the storms and slay powerful foes on the path of a Wizard.

"Just wait, my Battle Suit, the day you make your name will come."

Name: Bio-Steel Battle Suit 1.0

Equipper: Green Anglet

Research Inspiration: Bio-armor + iron man

Detailed Configuration:

1: Inner and Outer Dual Armor. The inner armor is automatically assembled and combined from Tier 1 Moyun Vine gifted by Lord Joyce. The outer armor follows the consistent design philosophy of Bio-armor, using the Moyun Vine as a link to connect 6 main components, which have also been forged into Tier 1 Wizard Tools.

2: Battle Suit Self-Check System 1.0. Utilizing the slight intelligence of the Moyun Vine, a basic Bio-armor self-check system was created, capable of accurately assessing the overall status of the Bio-armor, including component damage, energy consumption, Wizard Array operation, and so on.

3: Triple Energy Supply Setting. The structure of the Tier 1 Bio-armor is complex and demands immense energy, so it was designed with a Triple Energy Supply Setting. The first layer: Each Tier 1 Wizard Tool component has an independent external Magic Crystal energy supply + a small internal Wizard Tool energy storage function. When a component is used individually, it can be supplied independently. Due to the inherent limitations of Tier 1 Wizard Tools, the maximum supply time is 30 minutes.

(Magic Crystal, the energy currency of Tier 1 Wizards. 1 Magic Crystal = 10,000 Magic Stones. Magic Crystals possess extremely high energy purity and are essential materials for many Wizard Arrays, Wizard Tools, and high-tier Apothecary preparations. They are also extremely rare, produced only in the core regions of a few large Magic Stone Mines. They can be repeatedly recharged using certain special methods, with the number of recharges ranging between 1,000 and 10,000, depending on the Magic Crystal's material.)

The second layer: Moyun Vine Energy Storage and Supply. As the core inherited plant of the Botany School, the Moyun Vine is an extremely tough, highly magic-resistant, and highly energy-storing omnipotent magical plant. It possesses extremely strong mana conductivity, making it an excellent partner and the best combat assistant for Formal Wizards. Once fully charged with Magic Energy, the Moyun Vine can supply the Bio-armor for 2 hours of combat.

The third layer: Wizard Self-Supply. The Bio-armor is a combined, large-scale Wizard Tool integrating multiple Wizard Tools. It can utilize the operator's own energy supply method. A Formal Wizard can typically supply energy for 1 hour... Afternoon.

On the top floor of the Wizard Tower, in a small garden.

"Ellie, is something the matter?"

"It's quite rare today; you actually sought me out proactively for tea. Usually, unless it's a day off, you never leave that laboratory of yours."

"Haha, now that Teacher Joyce has left, you've occupied his Apothecary laboratory and even moved in. Is that appropriate? How are others supposed to use it?"

Ellie gave Green Anglet a calm, dismissive look, enjoying this rare moment of rest. She lightly smoothed her hair tips and lay lazily on the couch chair.

"If you want to use it, just go use it. Who's going to stop you?"

"Right now, only Teacher Serena and I live in the laboratory. The other spaces are very spacious, and you are welcome to come and refine Apothecary preparations anytime."

"But Green Anglet, you haven't refined any Apothecary preparations for several years, have you? You're still just a 3-Star Apothecary Apprentice, right? With your level, do you even dare to use a Formal Wizard-level Apothecary laboratory?"

"...Ellie..."

"Haven't you been highly successful in Mind Cultivation? You even wrote books and pioneered a new Mind Studies School. Why are you still so sharp-tongued?"

"Come or don't come, hmph..."

"I came to find you today for something serious."

Ellie's tone became serious as she spoke:

"I have a mountain of things on my hands. I have to focus on researching Formal Wizard-level Pharmacology, perfect my Mind Cultivation School, write more books, and cultivate promising talents for the Academy. I've already taken on three apprentices, so I truly can't spare the effort."

"Therefore, please help me reject all those miscellaneous invitations from now on. I just want to stay quietly in our Plant Heart Academy's Wizard Tower and not go anywhere else."

"...Hm?"

"Ellie also received many invitations?"

Wizard Green Anglet keenly sensed that something was amiss—the scent of danger.

"Ellie, tell me about the invitations you received."

"Oh, according to the assistant arranged by the Academy, there were about seven or eight:

There was an academic exchange meeting from the Seven Towers Alliance, and some annual conference hosted by the Mist Coast Apothecary Association;

There were weddings hosted by Wizards known from previous academic exchanges, and a Formal Wizard Promotion Celebration hosted by a medium-sized power from my hometown;

There was also the Motlan Grand Kingdom Royal Family wanting to confer a noble title upon me and inviting me to their Royal Capital to discuss it. Anyway, there were all sorts of strange, unrelated invitations—it was annoying."

"Oh, what specific dates are they?"

"They are concentrated in the next few months: August, September, and October."

"Hoo..."

Green Anglet exhaled heavily and said solemnly:

"Ellie, our trial has arrived."
