135: Death Struggle (Part 3)

Gelin shouted loudly.

"Come and fight."

He raised his Magic Gold Greatsword with both hands, striking a posture for a powerful downward strike.

Throughout the battle, Gelin had been in the central command position, responsible for the rhythm and tactical deployment of the entire battlefield.

This undoubtedly showed Gelin's superb strategic planning ability and competent command skills.

But don't forget, Gelin was an Advanced Wizard Apprentice, one of the peak combat powers wearing Bio-armor.

Previously, to maintain a full mental state for battle command, Gelin hadn't made a single move, only activating a stored Wizardry from an Advanced Magic Item to deal with some Blood Dogs.

He hadn't expected it.

At the last moment, this foolish Black Wizard actually delivered himself to Gelin!

...Such a good benefit, it would be a waste not to take it.

This Black Wizard, enveloped in a yellow light, was the Bloodhound Wizard, one of the peak combat powers.

At this moment, he had undergone a drastic transformation, becoming a ferocious beast with yellow fur, two and a half meters long, and one point eight meters tall at the shoulder, resembling a leopard from afar, climbing rapidly along the city wall like lightning.

In less than two seconds, he was within three meters of Gelin.

Gelin looked at the beast's head, which was eighty percent similar to a large yellow dog, and couldn't help but exclaim.

"Ah Bao!"

"No, Big Yellow!"

"Bang, bang..."

Big Yellow Dog's two front paws fiercely struck Adler's Advanced Magic Resistant Hybrid Metal Full Body Greatshield, leaving two deep marks.

But before that, Adler, deeply aware of his great responsibility, had already activated his Earth Bear bloodline ability, using it to its limit.

"Pfft..."

Adler's muscles bulged, his tiger's mouth slightly cracked and oozed blood, and he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, but he swallowed back the remaining blood that had surged to his throat.

Though oppressed by the immense impact, he stood rooted to the spot, enduring two claw strikes from a peak combat power without retreating an inch.

A hint of surprise and unexpectedness flashed in the yellow dog-headed Wizard's eyes; he hadn't expected this front-line Grand Knight to be able to block his full-power strike!

...However, very soon.

The yellow dog-headed Wizard's eyes turned to horror.

"Woof!" — You're not playing fair, don't do it!

A deep red fireball the size of a head—a 70-degree Exploding Fireball—slammed fiercely into the yellow dog-headed Wizard's face; the yellow dog-headed Wizard only had time to raise his right arm to block.

One meter!

The distance between Gelin and the yellow dog-headed Wizard was only about one meter. In the Wizard World, that was truly face-to-face, close enough to count the hairs on the other's face.

"Double Kill!"

The yellow dog-headed Wizard's entire right side of his body turned into a charred mess, and half of his right cheek smoked. His large dog head was dizzy, blasted backward by the explosion's shockwave.

Adler also took a direct hit from a genuine Advanced Wizardry. He, who had not retreated a single step in front of the Black Wizard, was also sent flying by the Exploding Fireball's unparalleled impact.

Even the 180-pound Advanced Magic Resistant Hybrid Metal Full Body Greatshield slipped from his hand... Among various 0-ring Advanced Elemental Wizardries, in terms of power, the Exploding Fireball might not be ranked first.

But purely in terms of—explosion damage and shockwave within three meters, the Exploding Fireball claimed second place, and no one dared to claim first... Gelin dodged with a flash, avoiding the retreating Adler.

"Anthony, catch Adler and give him the best medicine."

"Big Yellow, where are you running to?"

He kicked off with full force, leaving two three-foot-deep pits in the ground.

With an aerial leaping slash, Gelin, erupting with his ultimate silver battle aura, appeared like a god in the Bloodhound Wizard's eyes.

Then, the Bloodhound Wizard's vision went higher and higher... He saw a familiar figure in mid-air, with long golden-yellow fur and powerful limbs, but no head, only a dazzling fountain of blood spraying in the air, creating a blood-red rainbow... "Eh, isn't that my transformed state?"

"Where's my head? Where's my head?"

The Bloodhound Wizard wanted to roar, but no sound came out. He only vaguely heard in his ear:

"Thunder—Half-Moon Slash!"

Then, the Bloodhound Wizard's consciousness plunged into endless darkness... "Hahahaha..."

A satisfying slash, like a successful smash in table tennis, made Gelin so exhilarated he almost flew into the sky.

"Exciting!"

"Awesome!"

"Haha, Big Yellow, rest in peace."

Gelin stood beside the Bloodhound Wizard's corpse, confirmed that the Bloodhound Wizard was dead beyond dead, and then laughed heartily a few times.

Then he leaped a few steps and jumped back onto the command platform.

Looking at the strange expressions on everyone's faces, all wanting to speak but not daring to.

Gelin then realized belatedly.

"Oh, I don't know that Black Wizard either."

"Don't misunderstand, I just thought he looked like the native dogs we raised in our hometown. I had a yellow native dog when I was little that looked eighty percent similar to this Black Wizard."

"So, that's why I called him Big Yellow."

"Oh, right, Big Yellow was the name of the native dog I raised."

..."Alright, don't just stand there."

"Quickly clear the battlefield and eliminate any stragglers."

"Oh, and collect the body of this Black Wizard I killed. Don't burn it yet; bind it according to the standards for serious criminals, in case he's faking death."

"It will be useful later."

"Mentor Fox, I'll leave the command here to you."

Gelin said to the only Advanced Wizard Apprentice on the field. Mentor Fox was also a member of the No. 2 Entrance Command Post, serving as Gelin's assistant.

"I'm going to support other battlefields."

"Wizard Gelin, you go."

Mentor Fox nodded:

"There's nothing left here. Chasing the Black Wizards is more important. My old bones won't go; I'll stay here to keep an eye on things for you and clean up the battlefield."

...At this time, on the battlefield at No. 2 Entrance.

There were no White Bone Behemoths left standing, and the Black Wizards were all dead. Perhaps in some corner, one or two severely wounded Black Wizards might still be alive.

However, none of that mattered anymore.

The overall situation was decided.

Only the two escaping peak combat powers were a problem.

Gelin thought for a moment, then sprinted to the left, even using the Advanced Wizardry—Magic Whirlwind, and his speed instantly surged.

The red-clad Black Wizard on the left was being pursued by an elite squad led by a peak combat power from the academy, along with a team of Advanced Wizard Apprentices.

The black-clad Black Wizard on the right was being pursued by an elite squad led by a Bio-armor Experimenter from the academy, along with a team of Advanced Wizard Apprentices.

The left side lacked a meat shield, so Gelin went to support the left first.

"Haha, you damn Black Wizard, your Grandpa Gelin is here."
