102: Rosen, have I fallen in love with you?

Suddenly, Si Nan felt a warmth by her ear. Luo Sen's hot breath puffed right against her ear, making her heart skip a beat.

She had never felt this way before. It was completely different from when she first saw Gao Ming; back then, she only felt that his smile was infectious.

At that time, she thought such a cheerful boy would surely bring laughter to every part of life. Indeed, during her time with Gao Ming, there was plenty of laughter.

Looking back now, most of that laughter was Gao Ming and Xu Songquan mocking her. From the very beginning, when Gao Ming approached her with that sunny smile, that was how they laughed.

She was the foolish one, young and ignorant. She hadn't thought twice, believing those smiles brought joy to her heavy childhood and a different kind of life, even feeling happy because of them.

Utterly stupid!

She was merely fodder for Gao Ming and Xu Songquan's idle gossip, a source of entertainment for three years. The more they laughed, the more foolish she appeared in the eyes of those two scums.

When she was alone with Gao Ming, just the two of them, he would make her laugh, but she never felt this kind of heart-fluttering sensation.

Luo Sen, have I fallen in love with you?

No, she shouldn't have moved on so quickly. She and Luo Sen had known each other since they were children; it must be an illusion.

"Yes, just like that. You keep cooking the pancakes; I'm going to wash my face and brush my teeth." Si Nan fled, running all the way to the upstairs bathroom and staring at herself in the mirror.

Was she crazy? The current Luo Sen was a zombie, and his IQ was only that of a two-year-old.

By the time she finished and went downstairs, Luo Sen had finished cooking all the egg pancakes. He had set out the chairs and milk and was sitting there unwrapping the gauze from his finger.

Si Nan rushed over to stop him. "Don't take it off, it hasn't healed yet."

"It's better," Luo Sen said with a serious face, removing all the gauze to show her.

"Better? Impossible, there was such a long, bloody gash." Disbelieving, Si Nan grabbed Luo Sen's finger to check. It really was healed, completely intact. If not for the faint scar where the knife had cut him, she would have thought his hand had never been injured.

Her eyes widened in shock. "My god, you're too powerful. You have the ability to self-heal."

This was heaven-defying! Didn't it mean he was practically unkillable?

She stared at Luo Sen for three seconds, then hurriedly turned on her phone's flashlight and told him to open his mouth. She carefully inspected his mouth up close—nothing had changed. Teeth were still teeth, tongue was still tongue, and throat was still throat.

She suspected Luo Sen was evolving rapidly, but she had no proof. She didn't know if this was an ability he'd had since becoming a zombie or if he had just evolved it. Regardless, it was a good thing.

She checked Luo Sen's eyes again. The grayish-blue of his pupils seemed to have deepened, becoming even bluer and very beautiful. Especially now, as he looked at her intently and quietly, his eyes were filled with her—serious, doting, affectionate, and drowning in love.

Si Nan's fingers lightly brushed against those beautiful eyes, and she felt almost like she was drowning in them, unable to pull away. She was completely unaware that she was in Luo Sen's arms, his hands around her waist as he slowly drew closer.

She suddenly asked Luo Sen, "Does your mother know you have self-healing abilities?"

Luo Sen shook his head. "Mom doesn't know. Mom is very busy, studying bottles every day and won't let me touch them. I was bored, so I came to play with Big Sister."

Si Nan understood. His mother didn't know about many of Luo Sen's miraculous abilities yet, likely because she hadn't had the chance to find out. She was anxious and loved Luo Sen dearly, wanting to turn him back into a normal person as soon as possible, which was why she researched medicine day and night.

But the zombie virus wasn't so easy to deal with. Not to mention Luo Sen, even the ordinary zombies outside were evolving. Even the evergreen trees by the roadside, contaminated by black blood, were growing spore powder. This war was still in its early stages.

The developed antidotes couldn't keep up with the speed of zombie evolution, necessitating constant re-research in a never-ending cycle. Besides, many zombies had mangled bodies; even if they were cured, what then? Could they even survive?

These were all difficult problems to overcome. In her opinion, killing them and burning them to ashes was the best course of action.

While her mind wandered, her body had pressed close to Luo Sen without her realizing. Coincidentally, as she was standing and he was sitting, her full chest was right in front of his eyes.

In fact, Luo Sen's face had already turned red, but it was too dark to see.

"Let's eat, the egg pancakes will be cold soon." Si Nan suddenly left Luo Sen's embrace and sat across from him to drink her milk. Her mind was still wandering, mostly as she stared at Luo Sen.

In her eyes, Luo Sen was still a person, but he was already a new species—an ultra, ultra, ultra-powerful new species. This was good. To take over Huangfu Qiankun's luxury villa, she would first have to deal with the living people inside, which would inevitably involve a major battle.

Although Luo Sen was powerful, his IQ was only that of a two-year-old, so she still felt uneasy. Now that she knew he had powerful self-healing abilities, she felt much better.

Today was the day then. She would search for supplies along the way and head to Yunshu Mountain Villa to check it out.

Having made up her mind, Si Nan ate very quickly.

Seeing her eat quickly, Luo Sen did the same. After the meal, the two of them prepared and filled the Armored Vehicle with fuel.

As the Armored Vehicle drove out of the courtyard gate, she looked at the empty space in front. Since they might be out all day, she worried someone might try to target her house again.

So, she asked Luo Sen, "Do those zombies listen to you?"

"Mm-hmm. Does Big Sister want them to carry us on their backs?" Luo Sen suddenly asked out of curiosity.

Si Nan's hand shook in surprise. "Uh, that's not what I meant. I meant having them help us watch the house. We might be out for a long time today, and I'm afraid someone might try to seize our home."

Although she was confident in her house—even if someone could get into the yard, they couldn't get inside—there were always professional tools. She didn't want those people to get her house dirty.

Luo Sen understood immediately. "Mm-hmm, Sen Sen will have them all come over. If they can't guard the house, Sen Sen will kill them all when we get back."

After saying that, he let out a roar. By the time the Armored Vehicle drove out, the nearby zombies had all run over and surrounded the courtyard, covering it from every angle and standing guard without moving.

Si Nan: "..."

The effect was excellent; she couldn't help but steal another glance at Luo Sen.

"Hee-hee, Sen Sen is amazing, right?" Luo Sen's smile reached a new level of brilliance.

"Yes, amazing. Super amazing," Si Nan praised him, giving him a thumbs up.

"Yay, let's go!" Luo Sen was incredibly happy. He opened the sunroof and stood on the roof of the vehicle, acting wildly. Surviving Property Owners living on higher floors poked their heads out of their windows when they heard the commotion.

Si Nan was right. Some people were colluding with Property Owners from other units and immediately informed someone of the news that Si Nan was heading out.

Soon, someone arrived in a low-level assembled car, but upon seeing the dense crowd of zombies surrounding Si Nan's courtyard, they immediately turned the car around and fled.
