173: They all have to explain themselves here.

Inside the surveillance footage, many parachutes were descending from the sky, landing on the broad grounds of the Yunshu Mountain Villa’s back area. They were densely packed; these people were fully armed, wearing mismatched civilian clothes and carrying firearms.

"A private team. Judging by the equipment, they should be ragtag Mercenaries. Kill them!" Luo Sen accurately determined the category of the newcomers at a glance. He had already dressed and equipped his pistol and Military Knife.

"I don't care if they're private or sent by some powerful family. As long as they've come to rob my Yunshu Mountain Villa, they'll have to pay the price here." Si Nan was also very fast, fully armed with a bulletproof vest, pistol, ancient saber, and bulletproof helmet.

At the same time, everyone else was startled awake. Jian Bing, Song Yuan, Bai Zichuan, Ma Bufan, Guan Xiaoning, Guan Xiaowen, and the Security Auntie—all six were fully armed. During yesterday's training, Si Nan had already distributed the bulletproof vests and powerful ammunition to them.

However, as Jian Bing and Bai Zichuan had not yet recovered from their injuries, they stayed within the residential area. Jian Bing, Ma Bufan, Guan Xiaoning, and Guan Xiaowen split into two groups to guard the left and right entrance gates of the back area, intercepting and killing all enemies who charged in.

Bai Zichuan went to the security room to handle the surveillance footage, acting as the eyes for everyone. The rest stayed inside with doors and windows tightly shut; for safety's sake, the Security Auntie was responsible for their protection.

Song Yuan, Luo Sen, and Si Nan would hunt all the intruders together. This night was destined to be a restless one.

The sky was heavy with darkness.

Upon reaching downstairs, Song Yuan, Luo Sen, and Si Nan met up. Luo Sen and Si Nan quickly checked the surveillance footage on their phones. The enemies were currently all spread out—in the air, on the walls, and on the ground—rapidly approaching the two gates of the back area.

Little did they know, all their movements were under Luo Sen and Si Nan’s control. Luo Sen spoke to Bai Zichuan through his earpiece, "Activate all the traps in the back area. Kill off a wave first."

"Arriving at the security room now," Bai Zichuan replied as he rushed toward the security room on an electric bike.

Meanwhile, Luo Sen, Si Nan, and Song Yuan split up and ran quickly toward the back area gates. Jian Bing and Ma Bufan's group could only handle the enemies on the ground, but the enemies in the air had to be dealt with by Si Nan and Luo Sen.

Atop the perimeter wall of the back area, over a dozen skilled ragtag Mercenaries were moving quickly along the top of the wall like tightrope walkers, trying to approach the residential area.

Outside the wall, the zombie horde saw living people and roared, lunging upward only to fall back down. The scene was grand; every zombie stretched out its hands to reach the people above, but unfortunately, it was too high, and they couldn't reach at all.

Some of the more evolved and clever ones tried to climb the wall by standing on other zombies' shoulders, but the towering, smooth wall offered no friction. Before they could stack up, the bottom would collapse. They could never reach the people running above, making them roar in frustration.

"You beasts! If I weren't afraid of making a noise and waking the lambs waiting for slaughter inside, I'd spray a whole magazine and blow you all to bits."

"That's enough, Viper. There's no point in taking down these walking dead. It's more important to take this villa as quickly as possible so we can report back and get the supplies we want."

"Got it. Centipede, you're as nagging as the boss. If you ask me, you guys are just jumpy; your guts aren't even as big as a grain of rice."

"We already sent someone to scout the situation inside the day before yesterday. There are only about a dozen old, weak, and disabled people in total. Is it really necessary to mobilize our entire main force to wipe them out?"

"It's redundant. I could solve it all with just two brothers. A dozen weaklings aren't worth keeping the brothers from holding their women and getting a good night's sleep. Coming to launch a sneak attack in the middle of the night is truly embarrassing."

"Viper, you've always misunderstood Black Boss's meaning. What we're really dealing with isn't those dozen or so old, weak, and disabled people, but this villa."

"Think about it. Could a gold-consuming hole built with three billion in investment be simple? Who knows what kind of traps are inside?"

"Hahaha, you're killing me. This is the modern age, not ancient times. Traps? Give me a break. Look for yourself; we haven't seen any movement since we landed. I don't believe this wall or this house can eat people! Ah, my foot!"

Viper suddenly let out a scream. A second ago, he hadn't taken this luxury mansion seriously. Not just him—everyone thought mobilizing all their Mercenaries to wipe out a dozen old and weak people was overkill.

But in the next second, Viper's feet were pierced and pinned to the top of the wall. Not only that, but two long grooves suddenly appeared on both sides of the wall, inside and out, with some kind of liquid flowing within that instantly submerged the two men's pierced feet.

Before the two could react, the liquid suddenly ignited with a "boom." They were instantly surrounded by fire, burning fiercely from bottom to top. The scene was like a hanging roast pig; they couldn't even escape in time.

Furthermore, behind these two, all along the wall, any Mercenary who had landed on the wall and was running toward the residential area was being roasted alive.

"Aaaaah—"

Screams tore through the dark night, deafeningly loud. They lasted only three seconds before the spikes on the wall suddenly retracted, the grooves disappeared, and all the charred corpses fell from the wall.

"Not good! There really are traps in here. Everyone be careful! Stay off the walls! The people inside know we're here. Kill them all and avenge Viper and Centipede!"

"Kill!"

"Boss, I'll take a few brothers to blow open the gate first, go in, and deal with everyone inside. Let Black Bee take some men to find the switch and shut down the traps. You and the others cover us."

"Fine, change of plans. Black Bee, Poison Bee, you guys go with Wild Wolf. The rest of you, cover them with me. We must take this place tonight."

"Yes, Boss."

"Take it? In your dreams! This is my territory!" Si Nan's cold, eerie voice suddenly rang out in the chilly wind, accompanied by the sound of small shells whistling through the air.

"Bang!" A large group was blown away like fireworks; Wild Wolf, Poison Bee, and Black Bee were all among them.

"What? They have FT11 Rocket Launchers? Vulture, quick! Use our FM10 to blast them to death!"

Black Boss watched helplessly as another wave of his brothers died, yet they hadn't taken down a single enemy. So far, they had only heard a woman's voice. How could someone like him, who had spent half his life dominating both the legal and illegal worlds, endure such a crushing defeat without even seeing the person?

If he didn't kill all these people, he swore he wouldn't be human!

"Don't worry, Boss. Leave it to me. Their FT11 is outdated." Vulture was confident. He shouldered the FM10, aimed at the direction the small shell had just come from, and fired.

The shell flashed through the night sky like an aurora but was intercepted halfway with a "bang." Luo Sen had blocked the shell aimed at Si Nan, then fired three shells in succession—one aimed at Vulture, and the other two aimed at Black Boss and the vanguard heading for the East Gate.

"Bang, bang, bang—"

"Aaaaah, not good! They have the most advanced FZ666 anti-pursuit Rocket Launchers! Black Boss, we're finished!"

"What? Impossible! They're just a few old and weak—Bang—Aaaah, get out of the way!"

The surrounding concrete was blown apart, and debris was thrown several meters high. In just a few seconds, more than half of their men were dead. Black Boss, who had been tackled by a subordinate and barely survived, looked at all this and gave the frustrated, unwilling order: "Retreat! Quick, retreat!"

"Oh, retreating? No rush. Have a cup of tea before you go." Si Nan’s playful voice rang out through the loudspeaker in the night wind.
