115: gargoyle

In the world of Saint Seiya, many people are capable of Light Speed Fist.

In fact, Light Speed Fist is just a name; because ordinary people cannot see light speed, nor can they see their fists, they claim to use Light Speed Fist.

This is because a person's physical body cannot reach light speed, unless they can turn their fists into light!

As is well known, while the Saint Seiya understand combat, they do not possess techniques that can alter their physical bodies.

Therefore, although their attack speed is fast, it is still far from reaching the speed of light!

However, in ordinary combat, this kind of attack is already powerful enough, as it is impossible for the naked eye to observe their attacks.

But don't forget, Shi Jingmo was once a Saint Seiya!

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...

Fierce fist energy erupted in the air, making the surrounding air feel scorching hot, while Shi Jingmo's palms moved along a strange trajectory in mid-air, blocking all incoming attacks.

If the opponent's fists had connected, there wouldn't have been so many explosive sounds; the density of the sounds indicated that Shi Jingmo had blocked all of the opponent's attacks!

Brick, seeing his allies under attack, cried out in alarm, then used his fire-breathing three-pronged axe to attack Radamanthys, providing support.

Radamanthys, seeing his attacks fail, was about to unleash a more powerful assault, but then countless fireballs and pillars of fire rained down on him.

As one of the three Hades Judges, who among them isn't experienced in combat? He naturally disdained such attacks, but no matter how strong his power and reactions were, the seemingly endless barrage of attacks proved to be a nuisance; however, just as he was about to retaliate with his strongest Light Speed Fist, that fellow Brick proved to be very slippery, swiftly retreating.

Before Radamanthys could even curse, Shi Jingmo had already launched another full-body assault, his fists also employing the same Light Speed Fist as before; the combined attacks of the two gradually made him anxious!

On Longevity Mountain, countless creatures known as Night-Walking Divine Dragons had already charged towards Wuzhuang Temple; the weapons in their hands glowed with a faint purple light, then they slammed them down, and tens of thousands of purplish-black light beams shot towards Wuzhuang Temple.

Outside Wuzhuang Temple, a burst of colorful light suddenly shone, blocking these attacks, and then, several figures flew out from Wuzhuang Temple, with Bull Demon King leading the way.

"Heh heh, this truly shows how the world has degenerated; any Tom, Dick, or Harry dares to jump out and cause trouble.

If Great Immortal Zhenyuan wasn't in the temple, you monsters would have been ground to dust long ago!"

Bull Demon King laughed heartily, his Mixed Iron Rod sweeping out fiercely; many monsters were struck by a massive rod shadow and swept away, then exploded into a cloud of blood mist, vanishing without a trace!

Tang Ku saw it clearly and couldn't help but shake his head and smile helplessly: "These Night-Walking Divine Dragons... I finally remember what they are..."

The so-called Night-Walking Divine Dragons are also known as Gargoyles, sculptures used as architectural decorations in the Western World, sometimes also serving as waterspouts.

Legend has it that these things transform into living creatures at night, appearing in the human world, and because their location is at the highest point of the city, coupled with their keen senses, they can monitor all good and evil that occurs in the human world, making them a type of monster that exists between good and evil.

Speaking of which, these things are generally considered to be more positively inclined monsters, and their appearance here, and their organized collective attack on a place, can only mean one thing.

Someone is controlling them from behind!

Bull Demon King and the others don't understand the connection between these things and the Saint Seiya, but Tang Ku does!

According to Tang Ku's knowledge, there is also a fellow named Gargoyles among the Specters, who is extremely fast and usually acts as a messenger.

"In other words..."

Tang Ku scanned the entire battlefield, then suddenly activated his Spiritual Awareness Eye.

All illusions were exposed under Tang Ku's eyes; suddenly, above a group of Gargoyles, there was an unusual fluctuation in the air.

There, in a place invisible to the naked eye, something seemed to be flapping its wings and moving.

However, perhaps due to some principle of light refraction, this fellow was completely invisible, and even his aura was not obvious.

No, to be precise, it wasn't that his aura wasn't obvious, but rather that the aura of this fellow was on the same frequency as the surrounding Gargoyles, so no one noticed his presence.

The battle raged on; Bull Demon King's Mixed Iron Rod went without saying, Nezha, holding his Fire Tipped Spear and riding his Wind Fire Wheels, swiftly moved back and forth among the Gargoyles, killing them like dumplings falling into a pot.

Princess Iron Fan was even more exaggerated; she didn't even use the sword in her hand, instead fanning with her Palm Leaf Fan with such force that countless Gargoyles were blown away, disappearing from sight in an instant, their whereabouts unknown.

In fact, the strong winds generated by the Palm Leaf Fan were completely unbearable for the Gargoyles' bodies; they might have been torn to shreds by the powerful wind mid-flight.

And the only one who was a bit weaker was Wu Zhen.

As a former goddess, her combat power was not actually strong, but some special skills allowed her to move freely among the monsters; generally, the monsters that came before her all became wide-eyed and stood by her side like bodyguards, protecting her; as soon as another monster approached, this fellow would instantly transform into a warrior protecting a beautiful woman, then swing the weapon in his hand at his comrades.

In less than three breaths, Wu Zhen already had over twenty followers around her, protecting her tightly!

What? What if these bodyguards aren't strong enough and die? Then just find new ones, and so on and so forth!

However, the number of Gargoyles was truly too vast; it looked like there were more than ten thousand, and even after fighting for so long, they were still overwhelming, appearing as a dense, dark mass that triggered trypophobia.

"No!"

Tang Ku looked at the fellow hidden in the shadows, frowning slightly, "This guy is up to no good; these Gargoyles are his Puppets, and he seems to be able to summon these guys endlessly from the Void Realm to fight... If we keep fighting like this, it will never end!"

However, Tang Ku did not act rashly, but slowly approached mid-air, his gaze wandering across the battlefield, as if he hadn't noticed anything unusual in the sky.

At first, the fellow hidden in the shadows was a bit wary, thinking Tang Ku had discovered him, but he quickly realized that this bald monk was just staring at the battlefield with a troubled expression, like a novice who hadn't noticed his presence at all!
