304: The name of the ship

"Heh heh, very good, very good... Hmm, what is your name?"

Tang Ku smiled with satisfaction, dispersed the Buddha Power, and asked calmly.

"I... I don't remember either..." The middle-aged man, Zero, gave a helpless, bitter smile.

"My memories are a blur. I don't know my identity, nor do I know where I came from... However, rest assured, I have a way to lead you all out, because the little bit of consciousness I have left tells me that this ship is mine..."

Tang Ku couldn't help but be slightly stunned, then immediately said: "A ship? You mean, we are currently inside a ship?"

The man opposite nodded: "To be precise, we are in a submarine capable of traveling underwater, and this ship... I couldn't be more familiar with it... but I just can't recall its name."

Tang Ku nodded: "Don't worry, you will have your chance... Hmm, I understand that you are familiar with the escape routes here, but these people..."

He pointed to the crowd standing behind him and said, "Is their mental state being controlled, or is it some other issue?"

Zero shook his head and said: "I'm not sure either. You could try using that golden light you used just now to see if you can wake them up!"

Tang Ku frowned slightly: "Buddha Power is not omnipotent, and if I wake them up now, it might cause chaos... Hmm, Great Immortal Zhenyuan was once able to perform the Sleeve Universe technique... I will try to see if I can put them into my sleeves and take them away... I have already attained Buddhahood; there is no reason I cannot do what he could do..."

As he spoke, Tang Ku spread his robe sleeves and employed Spiritual Awareness Microscopic. In that instant, he had a flash of inspiration; as one point of understanding opened, all others opened with it, and he grasped the mysteries of the Sleeve Universe in a single moment.

"Put simply, this is just a basic application of Space Laws... Hmm, although there might be a slight deviation, it should be doable..."

With a wave of his large sleeve, more than half of the thousands of people on the scene vanished instantly. With another wave, the remaining people were also packed into his sleeves.

Zero, standing behind him, was instantly awestruck, and said earnestly: "Are you... are you a deity from heaven? To possess such a Divine Ability?"

Tang Ku looked back at Zero. Judging by his high-bridged nose, he appeared to be a foreigner, but it was impossible to tell which country he was specifically from.

However, there was no rush; once he regained his memory, he would know his background.

"Let's go, lead me out of here!" Tang Ku said to Zero.

Zero nodded: "Rest assured, this ship should currently still be in a stationary state and hasn't submerged into the water, so to get out, we just need to find the correct path."

"How do you know?" Tang Ku asked curiously.

Zero pointed to his own head and laughed: "I have forgotten everything else, yet I know this ship like the back of my hand. I couldn't be more familiar with its status!"

With a smile, he led the way forward and gently tapped one of the metal doors. The door, as if it had encountered its master, instantly opened to both sides.

Zero was indeed very familiar with this place. He led Tang Ku through the passageways, zig-zagging and covering much ground. Although it seemed dizzying, Tang Ku knew that they were overall moving towards the upper levels.

This made sense, as ships like submarines always need to have exits opening from the top.

However, inside this massive submarine, Tang Ku discovered many strange things.

Medieval knight armor, a massive library, as well as some very retro lounges and cafes, and even a very ancient sewer System.

The facilities were complete, but upon closer inspection, many of the devices did not look like modern technological creations; on the contrary, they were filled with a steampunk style!

And those high-tech metal doors, those combination locks, and the like, seemed to have been added later.

"Further ahead is the control cabin. We need to go there to flip a few switches; otherwise, the top-level door won't open!" Zero said with a smile.

Tang Ku nodded: "Is this like a pressure relief valve? Hmm, I understand!"

Zero said curiously: "You actually know about pressure relief valves? Hmm, that's right, but because the structure of this ship is too unique, pressure relief can only be performed from the control cabin."

As he spoke, he led Tang Ku forward, and sure enough, they saw a large door.

This door was completely different in construction from the others. It was actually a door made of wood, decorated with gilded carvings, and was very magnificent, looking just like the doors used by the royal family in the ancient Roman Empire, appearing quite luxurious.

"This is it, this is..." Zero looked at the door and suddenly froze, his mind instantly becoming chaotic.

And Tang Ku, upon seeing this door, was suddenly slightly stunned.

On the side of the door, on a massive stone tablet, different languages were carved.

Just by looking at the first line, Tang Ku was suddenly stunned.

"This is... the name of this ship?" Tang Ku said in shock.

He took another look at Zero, then immediately gave a bitter smile, "So that's it. You are actually... you are actually him!"

Ten lines of text in different national languages were carved, representing the name of this ship. The first line was in Indian script, the second in English, the third in French, the fourth... was in Traditional Chinese.

If nothing else, Tang Ku recognized the Indian script in the first line and the Chinese in the fourth line.

The name of this ship... was the Nautilus!

That's right, it was the name of that legendary submarine from Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea!

The owner of the Nautilus, Captain Nemo, was Indian and a great engineer, but his appearance... that strange prosthetic hand as a characteristic, did not appear on Zero.

That was why Tang Ku hadn't associated him with that character.

Tang Ku, with his profound Buddha Dharma, was naturally very familiar with ancient Indian scripts and Sanskrit, so he understood the name of the ship in an instant.

"Heh heh, who would have thought that legendary figure would appear here... How many worlds did they travel through to collect so many people... Come to think of it, among the people I have gathered, there are quite a few foreigners as well. Where did they come from?"

Tang Ku gave a helpless, bitter smile, then said to Zero, "Have you... remembered anything?"

Zero shook his head: "No, I haven't even thought of my own name!"

"You can't think of it, but I can tell you!"

Tang Ku said in a deep voice, "Remember your own name. You are Nemo, Aronnax Nemo, the captain and chief designer of this Nautilus, and you are also an excellent engineer!"

Zero was stunned and muttered: "Nemo... Nemo... What a strange name..."

"Heh heh, as an excellent engineer, it is truly a great pity that he was turned into this by that idiot son of mine!"

Tang Ku's pupils shrank violently. He turned his head to look and saw that long-lost white-bearded old man looking at him with a beaming smile, and his heart couldn't help but sink.
