215: Tang Sanzang defeats Sha Wujing for the second time

"Slap, slap..."

Pigsy walked along the bottom of the darkening Liusha River, slapping his own face as he headed deeper into the Liusha River.

"Damn it, Old Pig shouldn't have suggested this... Sigh, if only Monkey Brother were still here, at least he could come underwater with me to lure the monster!"

Just a moment ago, the two had set a plan: Pigsy would go underwater to lure Sha Monk to the shore, and then, following the old method, Tang Ku would punch him onto the bank.

As long as he was separated from the river water, it would basically mean half the success.

As the saying goes, one trick can conquer the world.

After analyzing for so long, the two finally determined that Sha Monk had an extremely strong ability to adapt to environments, but this adaptation ability likely required time.

Having stayed in the water for so long, he must have gotten used to aquatic combat.

By catching him off guard the moment he stepped onto the shore—before his nerves could react—and then immediately clearing the knot of stagnant Qi at the back of his neck that connected to his mind, the task would be complete.

But there was one problem: who would go to lure the monster?

Well, this kind of dirty and tiring work naturally wouldn't fall to Master, so Pigsy had to shoulder the burden of being the bait and go underwater to lure the monster!

Seeing that the sky was gradually darkening, the Liusha River became increasingly dim as the sun set.

However, this meant nothing to a capable person like Pigsy.

His pair of small pig eyes were actually shining like light bulbs, scanning back and forth in the water like searchlights.

"Sigh, what a pain. Junior Brother Sha has become slippery; he's hiding really deep... Hmm, how exactly should I fight him later... Sigh, if I hit too hard, I'm afraid I'll really break him, but if I go too light, it won't have any effect. How should I measure this degree?"

Just as he was worrying, Pigsy's eyes suddenly swept over a series of bubbles drifting upwards...

"Oh? Right under this rock?"

Old Pig retracted the divine light from his eyes and slowly dived down.

Sure enough, he saw Sha Wujing beneath the rock.

However, Sha Wujing's actions at this moment and what was happening around him frightened Pigsy so much that he didn't even dare to breathe, staring blankly in that direction.

He saw that Sha Wujing still looked the same, without the slightest change, but countless thin, strange shadows had appeared around him.

Looking closely, they were actually over a hundred long swords gleaming with cold light, seeking opportunities to pierce through his chest.

But at this moment, Sha Wujing exerted his Divine Might, batting down the incoming Flying Swords one by one.

Dozens of Flying Swords were now stuck in the crevices of the rock below, unable to move.

Only then did Pigsy remember what kind of place this was.

This was the place where Sha Wujing had originally been punished.

Because he had accidentally broken the Glazed Lamp, he was banished to the mortal world, and every seven days in the Liusha River, he suffered the torment of Flying Swords piercing his chest.

"I understand. He's acting on instinct to take revenge... Hmm, to think that even though the Heavenly Court has been destroyed, this operational mechanism still exists. That is what's truly terrifying!"

Pigsy watched Sha Wujing's actions with lingering fear, feeling inwardly surprised.

The zen staff in Sha Wujing's hands danced like a windmill, stirring up countless whirlpools in the water.

The terrifying power knocked down all those Flying Swords one by one, and it seemed as if his zen staff possessed some kind of magic; any Flying Sword he knocked down never flew up to attack again.

In less than ten seconds, all hundred-plus Flying Swords had been knocked down and stuck into the rock below.

Sha Wujing looked down, and a curve actually appeared at the corner of his mouth; he seemed to be smiling very heartily.

Immediately after, a strange change occurred: all the Flying Swords on the ground flashed with a ray of light, then flew up one after another, drew a semicircle in mid-air, and gathered toward a certain point.

In the blink of an eye, they turned into a beam of white light and dove directly into Sha Wujing's forehead.

"...Holy crap, this is insane..." Pigsy exclaimed in shock, "Has Junior Brother Sha actually subdued the Flying Swords of the Immortal Realm?"

Actually, thinking about it, it made sense.

The original Sha Wujing was an honest man.

Every time he suffered the pain of swords piercing his heart, he thought he was just atoning for his sins, unaware that this was simply the Upper Realm tempering his Heart-Nature in this way, trying to turn him into an obedient dog.

Now that he had achieved a Breakthrough and his personality had become strange, he followed his instincts and developed the idea of revenge.

Unexpectedly, these Flying Swords were truly bullies that feared the strong and picked on the weak; once knocked down, they lost their spirituality, and once all were knocked down, they would acknowledge the strong one who defeated them as their Master.

In fact, even the original Sha Wujing had the ability to subdue them, but back then, he had never even thought in that direction.

Once Pigsy cried out, Sha Wujing had already discovered him.

He looked up in this direction, his eyes glowing bright red.

However, he did not rush to attack; instead, he scanned the area before confidently charging toward Pigsy.

Old Pig knew that this action was to observe whether anyone was lying in ambush.

After all, the impression Tang Ku had left on him was too deep; that terrifying strength made him afraid to engage Tang Ku, which was why he had desperately escaped from their joint attack.

However, since his intelligence was currently very low and he was acting almost entirely on instinct, he couldn't imagine that this was a scheme set by the two, so he attacked Pigsy with confidence.

Old Pig was shocked and hurriedly revealed his true form, smashing the rake in his hands toward his head as if it didn't cost a thing.

The two monsters of similar height once again battled in the water.

With new and old grudges, they fought even more fiercely this time.

On the shore, Tang Ku watched the waves churning continuously on the surface of the Liusha River, with energy exploding from time to time, and knowing that Pigsy had found Sha Monk, he couldn't help but step back a few paces, ready to strike at any moment.

The two were evenly matched, but Pigsy was in a dilemma because he couldn't think of a way to feign a weakness to make him chase after him.

It was a coincidence; this was like sending a pillow when one was sleepy.

Seeing that he couldn't win in a hurry, Sha Wujing's forehead suddenly lit up, and countless tiny light swords flew out, piercing straight toward Pigsy.

Pigsy's eyes rolled around.

As soon as his forehead lit up, he already had a plan in mind.

His figure retreated like a swimming fish, and he leaped up and swam toward the shore.

Seeing his prey running away, Sha Wujing behind him couldn't help but howl in anger, also transforming into a water column to chase after him.

The two chased and fled, their speed astonishing.

In just a few seconds, the water splashed open with a boom, and Pigsy leaped out, shouting, "Master, he's coming, he's coming..."

Immediately after, another black shadow carrying countless Flying Swords burst out of the water, striking Pigsy with a zen staff.

Tang Ku was stunned by this situation.

The moment he realized what was happening, he couldn't help but roar, his figure flashing repeatedly until he arrived at Sha Wujing's side, punching toward his waist!

Sha Wujing did not show any expression of surprise; in fact, in his current state, he basically had no expression at all.

And the moment his waist and ribs were hit, those hundred-plus Flying Swords suddenly surrounded Tang Ku and then violently pierced toward his entire body...
