134: Do you understand the rules?

"She has no need to enter the entertainment industry to fight for fame and fortune. Her world is likely broader and more sophisticated than we can imagine."

Thinking of this, Yang Mi completely abandoned any thought of recommending her or getting to know her to bring her into the industry; that would be overestimating herself.

With a brief introduction from Tony, Lei Jun and Yang Mi nodded to each other in greeting, marking their acquaintance.

Afterward, Lei Jun took Lei Ying and left the salon decisively.

Stepping out of the salon, Lei Jun checked the time.

Conveniently, the information she looked up showed that a large-scale anime convention was still ongoing in Dragon City, not too far from there.

She said to Lei Ying.

"To the anime convention."

The two hailed a taxi and drove straight toward the convention site... Soon, the taxi came to a smooth stop near the convention center.

Lei Jun scanned the crowd outside through the car window and frowned.

She had specifically checked that this was the end of the convention, so the crowd should have thinned out. However, many people were still squeezed at the entrance—fans holding support signs, photographers with camera bags, and enthusiasts in various cosplay costumes—densely blocking the entrance, even occupying nearly half of the taxi lane.

There were more people than expected.

She had no interest in the convention itself; she was only here to complete the system mission. More people meant more trouble, and being surrounded would waste even more time.

She and Lei Ying bought tickets and entered the convention.

They arrived at the main exhibition hall.

The clamor instantly enveloped them.

The poster wall at the entrance was covered with posters of popular anime characters.

Although it was nearing the end, cosplayers in elaborate costumes could be seen everywhere.

Several cosplayers wearing uniforms from "Demon Slayer" were surrounded by fans for photos.

Someone was dressed as Zhongli from "Genshin Impact." The Rex Lapis's robes trailed on the ground, requiring him to carefully avoid the crowd with every step.

There was a boy dressed in ninja attire with a forehead protector, trying hard to strike a cool pose as a character from "Naruto."

There was a burly man with bulging muscles and bronze body paint, perfectly replicating Zoro's Three-Sword Style from "One Piece."

There were also plenty of Chinese animation characters, such as Wang Ye, Zhang Chulan, and Bai Yuekui.

There were even some quirky combinations, like a cross-dressed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

One of the dwarfs was over 1.9 meters tall, making passersby laugh frequently.

Lei Jun felt no inner turmoil; she only wanted to quickly find a decent-looking cosplayer for a photo.

Meanwhile, the photographers who were originally scattered in various corners—whether directing cosplayers' poses or capturing exciting moments—seemed to be drawn by a magnet and turned toward Lei Jun in unison!

The sounds of conversation and shutters seemed to hit the pause button, and the entire hall fell silent for a moment... Those cosplayers who were originally the focus of photography suddenly realized that the gazes and lenses directed at them had sharply decreased, with all attention converging on the silver-haired girl who had just entered.

"Where did this amateur come from? She looks decent, but does she know the rules? She hasn't even put on makeup, and her clothes aren't cosplay, yet she's here to steal the spotlight?"

"Ugh... my fans are all being drawn away... Is her hair real? How can it look so good... That's just unfair..."

"Damn, is beauty really justice? My hard-earned props can't compare to her face? What kind of world is this..."

"Tsk, beauty of this level is truly a dimensional strike."

"Sigh, I didn't want to come in the first place, and now look, all the attention has been stolen!"

"With those looks... she was truly blessed by the heavens. If she did cosplay and dressed up a bit, she'd probably sweep the whole scene... but she looks like she has no interest in our circle at all."

"She's clearly here to leech off the hype, right? Wearing casual clothes to a convention and being so high-profile—how calculating. Probably another influencer who's desperate for fame and came here for a photoshoot!"

Additionally, the crowd was mixed with some participants with impure intentions.

Holding telephoto lenses, they wandered the hall, their gazes scanning female cosplayers like searchlights.

They ignored those with conservative outfits and high accuracy, specifically seeking out cosplayers whose costumes had less fabric or whose characters were set to be sexy.

When shooting, their lenses were often deliberately aimed at private areas like the chest, buttocks, and thighs, their eyes filled with undisguised voyeuristic desire and sleaziness.

When Lei Jun appeared, these people's eyes instantly bugged out, drool almost flowing, and their lenses immediately locked onto her.

"Holy crap, she's top-tier! That face, those legs, that aura!"

"Damn, what a pity, she's dressed too conservatively!"

"If only she could cosplay someone like Pirate Empress Boa Hancock... tsk tsk tsk..."

"Shoot, take more! With this beauty, it's worth it even if she's fully clothed. I'll go back and 'appreciate' them properly!"

Lei Jun ignored everyone's reactions and quickened her pace toward the inner part of the venue.

She needed to find a cosplayer who looked friendly, had a good costume, and wasn't surrounded by an impenetrable crowd.

Soon, her gaze locked onto a cosplayer playing "Red Wolf."

This cosplayer's look was quite dedicated: the classic red queen's dress, a gold crown on her head, and a cute frying pan prop in her hand. Her makeup wasn't overly exaggerated, carrying a bit of playfulness and dominance, and she had a bright smile on her face while taking photos with a few children.

Lei Jun walked straight over, the surrounding noise seemingly separated by an invisible barrier around her.

She approached the "Red Wolf" cosplayer and said politely, "Hello, may I take a photo with you?"

The girl playing Red Wolf felt her breath hitch the moment Lei Jun approached.

So beautiful!

Up close, the impact was even more indescribable. Her skin was so good that no pores could be seen, her features were as exquisite as a CG model, and especially that silver hair—it almost seemed to glow!

Her heart was instantly filled with amazement and a sense of being overwhelmed by the favor.

"Heavens, such a beautiful person actually approached me for a photo?"

"Me? Is she really looking for me?"

She felt like she had hit the jackpot and nodded hurriedly, her voice stuttering slightly from nerves and excitement.

"Ye... yes, of course!"

"It's my honor!"

Lei Jun looked at Lei Ying.

Lei Ying immediately stepped forward and took out a phone to take the picture.

Lei Jun cooperatively stood beside "Red Wolf," a faint, polite smile appearing on her face.

Click!

The shutter sound clicked softly.

Almost at the same time, the system notification sounded in Lei Jun's mind.

[godly tycoon mission: Attend an anime convention and take a photo with a cosplayer you like. Completed. Reward: 1,000 godly tycoon coins.]

Mission complete.

Lei Jun instantly felt a sense of relief.

Hmm, the efficiency was good; not much time was wasted.

This 'Red Wolf' look was quite cute, and her attitude was good; choosing her was the right call.

She was satisfied with the efficient execution of the mission.

She turned to the "Red Wolf" cosplayer and thanked her sincerely, "Thank you."
