248: Do you own this ski slope?

The sisters Su Qing and Su Ya were her closest work and lifestyle assistants.

Tony would definitely have unique insights into the snow scenery and athletic styling; it might even spark his creative desire. Plus, his exaggerated personality helped liven up the atmosphere.

Qin Yu, her most capable subordinate, was appropriate for such an occasion and could help handle the logistics.

Zhao Ya was skilled and highly responsible. With her around, there was no need to worry about safety, and it served as a reward for her hard work.

Lin Xiaoya was her roommate and also her subordinate.

Thinking of this, Lei Jun picked up her phone and sent a message to the group: "Are you free tomorrow? Let's find a ski resort and play for the day. My treat."

The response was almost instantaneous.

Qin Yu was the first to reply: "Sister Lei is calling, I must be free! I know a huge new indoor ski resort in the north. The facilities are top-tier and it's very private. I'll arrange everything!"

Since Sister Lei was organizing the outing, he had to perform well.

Arranging the venue, vehicles, and logistics were all things he excelled at and should do.

Su Qing quickly replied: "Understood, Miss Lei. I'll prepare the clothes and supplies needed for the trip."

Ski suits, protective gear, warming supplies, emergency medicine, and the personal items Miss Lei was accustomed to using all had to be prepared.

Her younger sister, Su Ya, could help Miss Lei organize her gear before and after skiing.

Su Ya replied with a happy emoji: "Thank you, Miss Lei! I'll make sure everyone's gear is perfectly organized!"

Tony sent a string of exclamation marks and emojis: "Oh My God! Skiing! Fantastic! My dear Muse, are you going to bring me new inspiration again? I'm getting my 'battle robe' and camera ready right now!"

He was already starting to conceive how to capture stunning moments of Lei Jun in the snow.

Zhao Ya's reply was concise and powerful: "Understood, President Lei."

Lin Xiaoya was delighted: "I'm free, I'm free! Thank you for taking me, Sister Lei!"

Seeing everyone's quick and positive responses, Lei Jun smiled... The next day, the group took two luxury business vans to the top-tier indoor ski resort Qin Yu had arranged.

Just as Qin Yu said, the scale was grand, the snow quality was excellent, and there were specialized advanced slopes and VIP areas. There weren't many people, making it very quiet.

Everyone changed into their gear.

Lei Jun chose a high-end, pure black ski suit, which made her silver hair look even more dazzling and her figure more upright.

She looked at herself in the mirror and felt her physical state. Light, full of power, and with an excellent sense of balance.

She knew that even without specialized ski training, with her current body control, she would pick it up very quickly.

Su Qing and Su Ya helped each other check their protective gear, being meticulous and thoughtful.

Tony's look was indeed eye-catching—a bright silver ski suit with a fur collar, and he had brought a professional camera.

Qin Yu bustled about, confirming various details.

Zhao Ya changed into a deep blue ski suit, her sharp eyes scanning the surroundings.

Lin Xiaoya was a bit excited and nervous, staying close to Lei Jun and looking around curiously.

Once they started skiing, Lei Jun's adaptation speed was astonishing.

After just a brief feel for it on the beginner slope, she could handle it with ease.

Soon, she moved on to the intermediate and advanced slopes.

Her control over her center of gravity, her perception of speed, and the fine-tuning of her muscles were as precise as instinct.

She enjoyed the whistling wind in her ears and the slight thrill brought by the speed.

This task was indeed simple; it felt more like a verification of her physical abilities and entertainment.

Qin Yu and Zhao Ya were also skiing well.

Tony was mainly posing for photos and marveling.

Su Qing, Su Ya, and Lin Xiaoya were practicing more cautiously in the flatter areas.

Lei Jun wanted to challenge a difficult advanced slope that combined a steep incline with curves.

Qin Yu and Zhao Ya naturally followed. Just as they were about to set off, a few young people arrived nearby, wearing expensive custom ski suits and flashy gear. They were laughing loudly, acting as if no one else was around.

The leader was a young man with dyed yellow hair and an arrogant gaze, surrounded by the others.

They also had their eyes on this slope.

The yellow-haired youth glanced at Lei Jun and her group. His gaze lingered on Lei Jun's face and body for a moment, flashing with a hint of amazement and frivolity.

He said something to his companions, and they all burst into laughter.

Qin Yu frowned and stepped forward, saying politely but coldly, "Gentlemen, we were here first. Please wait a moment."

The yellow-haired youth sneered. "Do you own this ski slope? Is your name on it? If you can't ski well, don't hog the good slopes. Move aside."

His companions joined in the jeering.

Zhao Ya's eyes turned cold. She subtly shifted her position closer to Lei Jun, her muscles tensing slightly as she entered a state of alert.

She could tell these people weren't ordinary tourists; they likely had some background, were thuggish, and prone to causing trouble.

Qin Yu's face darkened.

Just as he was about to speak, Lei Jun lightly raised her hand to stop him.

Lei Jun didn't even look at the yellow-haired youth; her gaze fell calmly on the start of the slope.

Wasting words on someone like this was meaningless.

The system's task was to experience skiing, not to argue with some playboy.

She had absolute confidence in her skills and the presence of Lei Ying. If the other party was just talking big, she would simply ignore them.

If they dared to make a move, that would be another matter.

She didn't want such a small matter to affect her mood or the completion of the task.

"We'll just ski our way," Lei Jun said to Qin Yu and Zhao Ya, her voice calm as if the people next to them were thin air.

Her attitude of complete disregard made the yellow-haired youth feel more insulted than any rebuttal would have.

"Stop acting!" The yellow-haired youth felt he was losing face, especially with his subordinates watching.

Relying on his decent skiing skills and the fact that he often acted high and mighty here, he exerted force with his feet and pushed off with his poles, intentionally cutting diagonally across the path where Lei Jun and her group were starting, hoping to cut them off or at least scare them.

His movements were fast and sudden, carrying clear malice.

Qin Yu's expression changed. "Watch out!"

Zhao Ya reacted extremely quickly, almost reflexively moving to block him or pull Lei Jun away.

But someone was faster than her.

Lei Ying, who had been following silently like a shadow slightly behind them, moved the instant the yellow-haired youth did.

His figure flickered, stepping forward like a ghost and precisely blocking the youth's path, one hand seemingly casually reaching out to guide him.

The yellow-haired youth only felt an irresistible gentle force. His trajectory, which he thought was fast and clever, was instantly diverted. He lost his balance and fell toward a nearby snowbank with a cry, landing flat on his face and even losing a ski.

His companions were stunned; none of them had seen clearly how Lei Ying moved.

After doing all this, Lei Ying silently retreated to his original position, his face devoid of any expression.

From beginning to end, Lei Jun hadn't even fully turned her head, only catching Lei Ying's move and the youth's pathetic state out of the corner of her eye.
