301: If you can't produce it, don't try to act tough here.

Seeing his uncle Wenchalong faint, Atapong showed no concern; instead, he laughed and began to mock him.

"Yo, yo, yo, he was perfectly fine just a moment ago. Why is he learning how to roll around on the ground now???"

"Don't give me that f*cking crap; it won't work!"

"I'm just asking: are you calling or not!"

Everyone in the courtyard grew angry upon hearing Atapong's words.

An elderly man stepped forward and said to Atapong, "Atapong, can you stop with the sarcasm? He's your uncle after all, and he's been driven to this state by anger! How can you be so cold-blooded and heartless!"

Atapong narrowed his eyes and sneered coldly, "What does that have to do with me!"

"He's the one who's angry, not me!"

He shrugged, his tone completely indifferent.

Hearing Atapong say this, the others couldn't stand it any longer.

A middle-aged man stepped forward, pointing at Atapong. "Hey, you kid, watch your mouth! No matter what, he's your elder. How can you speak to him like that!"

Atapong glared and roared at the middle-aged man, "This is how I talk! So what!!!"

"Are you saying I can't speak? You guys sure love sticking your noses in other people's business!"

"If anyone's to blame, blame him for asking for it!"

Atapong's words became increasingly unpleasant.

"It's his own fault for being incompetent yet insisting on getting involved!"

"You brainless idiots, what do you know? Stop f*cking talking about me!"

The people in the courtyard were completely enraged by Atapong's words. They all glared at him furiously, wishing they could go up and give him a beating.

"Holy sh*t, this Atapong really looks down on us! He's too arrogant!"

"Humph, Su Cha said it well: when the sky goes wild, it rains; when a person goes wild, disaster strikes. I don't believe it—just you wait, Atapong's karma will arrive any moment now!"

"Exactly. An arrogant and overbearing guy like Atapong needs to be taught a harsh lesson. He needs to know there's always someone better out there!"

"This kid has such a vicious tongue. Doesn't he know to leave some room for reconciliation? By offending everyone like this, how is he going to survive in the village later!"

"You guys... Atapong isn't a good person, but is Su Cha any better? He's no saint either!"

Lei Jun was somewhat speechless. Atapong was too arrogant; he had completely offended everyone.

Even if he won the bet this time, he wouldn't be able to stay in the village anymore.

Hearing his son talking nonsense again and offending everyone, Atapong's father, Songphong, hurried forward to stop him once more. "Atapong, what am I supposed to say to you!"

"That mouth of yours has offended so many people!"

Songphong's voice was filled with helplessness and anger.

"Can't you just say a few words less???"

Atapong turned and roared at Songphong, "You shut up too! If you hadn't failed to control me normally, would I have turned out like this? And now you have the nerve to lecture me!"

Songphong was choked up by Atapong's words, unable to say a thing. He could only sigh helplessly and slump onto the ground, weak.

He knew that his son was completely beyond saving.

Lei Jun looked at Songphong slumped on the ground, feeling not a shred of sympathy.

A pitiful person must have something detestable about them. If he hadn't been so lax in disciplining Atapong, the boy wouldn't have become like this.

It was too late for regrets now.

Songphong sat slumped on the ground, still sighing, but Atapong didn't care about his advice at all.

He suddenly turned his head, his gaze locking onto Su Cha. Seeing Su Cha glaring at him, he immediately sneered.

"What are you staring at!"

Atapong leaned forward a couple of steps, his chest almost touching Su Cha's.

"Trying to bluff your way through, are you? Produce the three million! If you can't, then don't act tough here!"

Su Cha clenched his fists tightly. Atapong was simply taking things too far!

Not only had he forced Su Cha to increase the stake, but now that his uncle had fainted, he showed no concern and continued to press them, clearly trying to drive them to a dead end.

Su Cha had only one thought in his mind: he had to teach this arrogant bastard a good lesson today!

He couldn't hold back anymore. He suddenly raised his hand, about to swing it at Atapong's face.

But just as his fist was about to hit Atapong, a hand suddenly grabbed his arm firmly.

Su Cha looked back; it was his father, Wenchalong, who had just been revived.

Wenchalong's face was still pale, his lips trembling. His eyes were full of terror and pleading as he gripped Su Cha's arm, refusing to let go.

Su Cha grew anxious and tried hard to shake off his father's hand. "Dad, don't stop me! I have to deal with this bastard today!"

Wenchalong gripped Su Cha's arm even tighter. He turned to Atapong, his back instantly bowing, his voice full of humble pleading. "Atapong, please be magnanimous. Su Cha is young and ignorant; please don't lower yourself to his level."

As he spoke, he pulled Su Cha back with all his might.

"Let's just drop this matter, okay? I'm begging you!"

Hearing his father's words, Su Cha felt a sharp pain in his heart, as if it were being pricked by needles.

He struggled and shouted, "Dad, why are you begging him? He's the one who's gone too far!"

Lei Jun stood to the side, seeing everything clearly.

She felt a bit more contempt for Wenchalong's cowardice.

His own son was being humiliated like this, yet instead of helping him, he held him back and begged the other party. Such a father was truly unworthy of the title.

Hearing Wenchalong's plea, Atapong didn't restrain himself at all. Instead, it was like a fuse had been lit, and he instantly exploded in rage.

He kicked a nearby stool violently. With a loud "clatter," the stool fell to the ground, startling everyone in the courtyard.

"Like hell I'll drop it!"

Atapong pointed at Wenchalong's nose and cursed loudly.

"You think a few pleas will end this? Too late!"

"You were the one who insisted Su Cha bet with me. Now that we're halfway through, you want to back out? Life isn't that easy!"

"Wasn't your son quite capable? He was just standing up to me; why is he quiet now?"

"I'm telling you, Wenchalong: today, either Su Cha produces three million and sees this bet through, or he kneels and apologizes to me. Otherwise, this isn't over!"

The murmurs in the courtyard rose and fell.

"I can't take it anymore. This Wenchalong is just too pathetic! I've never seen anyone so spineless. A useless father actually raised a son with backbone! Su Cha was about to teach that bastard a lesson, but he held his son back to beg the guy. It's infuriating!"

"Sigh, I think it's mainly because they're poor that his father is like this. Poor people always feel they can't hold their heads high in front of the wealthy."
