361: Dog Hero

"Crack!"

The tooth-aching sound of bones dislocating rang out.

"Agh!! My foot!!" The yellow-haired thug felt a sharp, piercing pain in his ankle. He instantly lost his balance and fell forward with a scream, the wooden club in his hand flying out of his grip.

He rolled on the ground, clutching his ankle in agony, unable to stand up for the time being!

But Ah Fu was no longer where he had been.

Using the momentum and cover from darting between the yellow-haired thug's legs, he appeared like a ghost beside another green-clad thug who was holding a brick and hadn't yet realized what was happening.

Ah Fu didn't bite. Instead, he leaped into the air, reaching the height of the thug's waist, and used his seemingly un-robust body like a precisely fired small cannonball to slam hard into the green-clad thug's kidney area!

"Bang!" A dull thud echoed.

"Ugh!" The green-clad thug felt half his body go numb as a massive force sent him flying a meter or two. He lost track of where his brick went as he crashed to the ground, clutching his waist and groaning, unable to crawl back up.

In a flash, two thugs armed with "lethal weapons" were already on the ground, incapacitated!

Ah Fu's movements didn't falter for a second. Upon landing, his limbs sprang skillfully, changing direction once more.

The third thug was a burly bald man. Shocked and enraged by what he saw, he swung his fist at Ah Fu.

Ah Fu didn't dodge. Instead, he accelerated forward. Just as the fist was about to connect, he suddenly screeched to a halt and changed direction, circling behind the bald man and kicking out hard with his hind legs!

The kick seemed light, but it contained power far beyond his size. Moreover, the target was extremely precise—right at the popliteal fossa behind the bald man's knee.

The burly bald man felt a surge of numbing pain behind his knee. His leg buckled, and he fell to one knee involuntarily with a thud.

He tried to struggle back up, but Ah Fu was already right in front of him. Ah Fu opened his mouth—but didn't bite. Instead, he used his hard skull to headbutt the bald man's chin upward with a fierce thrust!

"Thud!"

The bald man's head snapped back from the impact. Seeing stars and feeling dizzy, he completely lost his ability to resist and slumped to the ground.

The fourth and fifth thugs were scared out of their wits. They hadn't even seen how their companions fell; they only saw a yellow shadow darting through the crowd, followed by their own men screaming and falling one after another.

They swung their sticks frantically in the direction of the yellow shadow, but they couldn't even touch a single hair on Ah Fu.

Ah Fu was like an elf dancing on a knife's edge, or a top-tier martial arts master. He made full use of his small size, incredible speed, and supernatural agility to weave through the crowd.

Every strike was concise, precise, and effective, with no wasted movement.

The whole process might seem long in description, but in reality, from the moment Ah Fu sprang into action until the seven or eight thugs with clubs were all sprawling on the ground groaning, less than a minute had passed!

Ah Fu finally landed lightly back at Lei Jun's feet, maintaining his sitting posture and lightly panting with his tongue out. His breathing wasn't even particularly labored.

He was perfectly clean, without a speck of dust or blood, as if the crushing victory he just achieved had nothing to do with him.

The scene was deathly silent.

All the watching neighbors, whether they had their eyes closed or wide open, were frozen like statues. Their mouths hung open, their faces filled with extreme shock, bewilderment, and disbelief—a trance-like state as if their worldview had been overturned.

Their minds were a total blank.

It took several seconds before someone gasped sharply and spoke in a dream-like voice:

"My... My god... What did I just see?"

"No... Wait... Ah Fu... he... he... he knocked all those people down?"

"Seven or eight men! Armed with clubs! And in just a minute... they're all down?"

"Is... Is this really a Local Dog?!!!"

"I'm not dreaming, am I? Someone pinch me!"

"That's a dog? Those movements... were sharper than a martial arts star on TV! He even knows how to attack joints? Using their own strength against them?"

"He... He didn't even seem to bite anyone? And yet he took them all down?"

"So fierce! So incredible! Has this dog become a spirit?!"

"My god! I've truly seen it all today! This isn't just a dog; it's a Dog Hero! A Divine Hound!"

Exclamations, gasps, and unbelievable chatter erupted like a tide through the crowd.

Everyone's face was filled with excitement and thrill. Their eyes were full of awe and wonder as they looked at Ah Fu, while they looked at Lei Jun with curiosity and inquiry.

Li Rui's face was flushed with excitement, his fists clenched, wanting nothing more than to cheer out loud!

His companion with glasses was also dumbfounded. He pushed up his sliding glasses and murmured, "This... how is this possible... it's unscientific..."

Meanwhile, the thugs groaning and rolling on the ground in pain, and Wang Jinbiao, who was the only one still standing in the back but was completely stunned, presented a different scene.

Intense pain radiated from various parts of their bodies... ankles felt twisted or dislocated, knees were numb and stinging, kidneys felt like they'd been hit by a sledgehammer, chins were nearly shattered, stomachs were cramping, and eyes were stinging with tears... This pain was all too real, reminding them that what had just happened wasn't a nightmare.

But harder to accept than the physical pain was the mental shock and breakdown.

The initial arrogance, cruelty, and greed on their faces had long vanished, replaced by extreme pain, bewilderment, and a ghost-seeing terror and disbelief.

"Agh... it hurts so much... my leg..."

"My back... it's broken... it's definitely broken..."

"What... what on earth was that? A ghost?"

"How... how can a dog be so fast? So powerful?"

"We... so many of us... were taken down by a dog... a Local Dog..."

"Crazy! The world has gone crazy! There's definitely something wrong with that dog!"

They looked at Ah Fu, sitting quietly and harmlessly not far away, with eyes full of terror, as if he weren't a dog, but a monster in a dog's skin.

The ghostly figure and the terrifyingly precise strikes from moments ago were completely beyond their understanding of "dogs" or even "animals."

Wang Jinbiao stood at the back, his entire body trembling.

Not from the cold, but from fear and rage.

He looked at his men lying scattered across the ground, groaning incessantly, then at the composed Lei Jun and the Local Dog that acted as if nothing had happened. A chill ran from the soles of his feet to the top of his head, only to be replaced by a boundless fire of anger and humiliation that nearly made him explode.

He had spent money and called in men, hoping to vent his frustrations, but this was the outcome?

In all his years of being a tough guy, when had Wang Jinbiao ever suffered such a loss?

When had he ever been so humiliated?

And to lose to a dog, of all things?
