210: Chapter 210 AUV
Next, she needed to find a parking space.
She chose Shanghai's Hongqiao International Airport, as the transportation was convenient and the facilities were well-equipped.
Lei Jun and Lei Ying arrived at the Hongqiao Airport operations management center; the staff's eyes lit up when they saw Lei Jun.
Although Lei Jun was wearing a mask, her unique silver hair and outstanding temperament still allowed the staff to recognize her.
"Are you Ms. Lei Jun?"
"It's me," Lei Jun nodded.
"Hello, hello! How can I help you?" the staff member asked warmly.
They hadn't expected to meet the legendary Lei Jun, and she appeared even more elegant than her online photos.
"I'd like to rent a parking space for a year," Lei Jun said.
"Certainly, no problem." The staff member quickly checked. "We have parking spaces of various specifications. The most premium VIP spot has an annual rent of 8 million. Would that be acceptable?"
"That's fine." Lei Jun took out her phone. "How do I pay?"
The staff member provided the account details, and Lei Jun transferred 8 million on the spot.
Looking at the payment notification, the staff member marveled silently: "As expected of Director Lei, she's so extravagant! Paying 8 million without even blinking."
He quickly processed the paperwork, thinking: "Someone so beautiful, wealthy, and powerful is truly enviable."
After finishing the paperwork, Lei Jun and Lei Ying turned to leave.
At the door, they encountered two men.
One reeked of alcohol, staggering with a flushed face and hazy eyes.
His eyes locked onto Lei Jun, and he muttered: "Beauty, you're a Flight Attendant here, right? You're gorgeous!"
Usually a flirt, his drunken state made him bolder. He stepped forward to grab Lei Jun's hand: "Beauty, give me your contact info? I'll buy you dinner tonight."
Lei Jun frowned and sidestepped him, her voice cold: "I'm not a Flight Attendant. No thanks."
"Not a Flight Attendant? Then why are you here?" The drunk man persisted, leaning in with his alcoholic breath. "Whatever you are, let's get acquainted. I have plenty of money; follow me and you'll live well."
Lei Ying immediately stepped in front of Lei Jun, eyeing him coldly: "Please behave yourself and stop pestering our young lady."
"Who are you? Mind your own business!"
Startled by Lei Ying's intensity, the drunk man still shouted defiantly.
"I'm telling you, I'm President Zhang, a prominent figure in Shanghai. You'd better be smart, or I'll make things difficult for you!"
He tried to bypass Lei Ying to reach Lei Jun.
Lei Ying's eyes turned sharp as she grabbed the man's wrist and gave him a beating.
"AUV, Mama!" the man shrieked, his drunkenness mostly fading from the pain.
"Let go! You dare hit me? I'll make you pay!"
His companion looked at Lei Jun, and his face paled.
He hadn't recognized her at first, but seeing the silver hair and aura, his heart sank in shock.
"Lei... Lei Jun?"
The companion stammered, his eyes wide with disbelief.
Wasn't this the Lei Jun currently trending everywhere?
The major shareholder of three trillion-dollar companies who donated two hundred million in treasures and created incredible battery tech!
How did they provoke her?
Terrified, the companion pulled the drunk man back and bowed to Lei Jun: "Director Lei, I'm so sorry! He's drunk and foolish. Please be generous and don't take it to heart!"
The drunk man struggled, shouting: "Are you crazy? Why apologize? I'm President Zhang! She'll pay for this!"
"Shut the hell up!" the companion hissed, sweating. "Do you know who she is? If you want to live, shut up!"
"Who is she? Just a pretty woman?" The drunk man was still stubborn but grew uneasy at his friend's terror.
The companion shoved his phone in the man's face: "Look! She's Lei Jun! Major shareholder of Alibaba, Xiaomi, and BYD! She's achieved all this at 18—can you afford to cross her?"
The drunk man saw Lei Jun's profile and the news of her official commendations.
His eyes widened, his sobriety returned instantly, and he broke into a cold sweat.
Shareholder of three trillion-dollar companies?
Eighteen years old?
He knew exactly what that meant.
Even the top tycoons of Shanghai wouldn't dare provoke her!
Crushing him would be easier than killing an ant.
"Lei... Director Lei?"
His voice trembled with fear, his arrogance gone.
Terrified, his legs gave way, and he fell to his knees.
"Director Lei, I'm sorry! I was blind! Please, have mercy and forgive me! I won't do it again!"
Lei Jun looked at him coldly.
Being recognized saved her some trouble.
She had intended to punish him, but seeing him so pathetic, she lost interest.
He wasn't worth the time.
"Be careful next time," Lei Jun said, leaving with Lei Ying.
Outside, Lei Ying was still annoyed: "Miss, he's lucky he recognized you, or else..."
Lei Jun: "Fame has its perks; it saves a lot of trouble at times like this."
...Back home, a snowy-white figure, Pet Name, rushed over and rubbed against Lei Jun's ankles.
Lei Jun picked up Pet Name, who purred and nuzzled her chin.
"Did you miss me?" Lei Jun smiled, touching noses. Pet Name licked her finger.
In the living room, Lei Jun set Pet Name down and grabbed a cat teaser.
Pet Name's eyes lit up at the feathers, crouching like a little tiger.
Lei Jun flicked the wand, and Pet Name pounced, missing but immediately ready for the next round.
