398: My God... what did I see?

What happened next turned the stadium from noisy mockery into a deathly silence, which was then replaced by uncontrollable gasps and sharp intakes of breath.

Ah Fu's movements were faster than the human eye could track!!!

It glided across the Single-log bridge with light and steady steps, as if running on flat ground!

It didn't hesitate when passing through the narrow tunnel, its speed never flagging!!

It jumped through hoops of varying heights with precision in height and timing that seemed measured by a ruler; when crossing the A-frame, its center of gravity was perfectly controlled, without the slightest hesitation or slip.

Even more unbelievable was that throughout the high-speed exercise, Lei Jun just stood there, issuing commands in a clear but ordinary voice: "Sit," "Down," "Stand," "Heel," "Stop"... In the intervals of running, jumping, and turning, Ah Fu's body responded almost the instant the command was given, without a single delay or mistake!!!!!

The movements were so fluid it didn't look like it was following orders, but rather performing a pre-choreographed dance filled with improvisational beauty!

The numbers on the timer skipped frantically, finally stopping at a time that left everyone dumbfounded—it was nearly twice as fast as the previous record!

Moreover, the completion of the movements was a flawless perfect score!

The staff set out items with various distracting scents.

Lei Jun simply pointed to the search area.

Ah Fu immediately entered work mode, its nose twitching slightly and its eyes becoming extremely focused as it moved through the area quickly and systematically.

It wasn't like some dogs that sniffed around anxiously; it was exceptionally calm and efficient.

After only a dozen seconds, it stopped at an inconspicuous corner, gently tapped a metal can with its front paw, and then looked up at Lei Jun.

The referee stepped forward to check—it was indeed the target scent!

Precise and unerring! The speed broke the record again!

When the "thug" played by the decoy appeared, shouting provocations and threats, Ah Fu's gaze changed instantly.

Its gentleness and agility faded, replaced by a cold sharpness and majesty.

It didn't rush forward barking frantically like a Pit Bull; instead, it lowered its body, a low and menacing growl vibrating in its throat, and approached slowly, every step carrying a powerful sense of pressure.

When Lei Jun gave the command "Attack!", its figure seemed to disappear for a fraction of a second, and in the next instant, it had already accurately bitten the protective gear on the decoy's arm.

The force was so great that even the experienced decoy let out a muffled groan, nearly losing his balance.

What was even more shocking was that when Lei Jun gave the commands "Stop!" and "Release!", Ah Fu let go instantly and backed away. The aggression in its eyes receded like a tide, returning to calm as it sat quietly by Lei Jun's feet, as if the apex predator from a moment ago wasn't it.

The entire process was fast, accurate, and ruthless, with the ability to strike and retract at will; its absolute obedience to commands had reached an almost inconceivable level!

The referee was stunned for a few seconds before giving the score—another indisputable high score!

Lei Jun thought for a moment and signaled to the referee.

Then, she walked to the sideline, picked up a portable tablet used by the staff, tapped on it a few times, and brought up a simple interface with numbers and graphics.

Then, she placed the tablet on a stand and pointed it out to Ah Fu.

Under the stunned gazes of the entire audience, Ah Fu walked up to the tablet, looked at the screen, and then... it extended its front paw, using its paw pad to accurately touch several numbers and graphics on the screen!

It seemed to be completing a simple "matching" or "sequencing" task!

Although the movements weren't fast, the accuracy was one hundred percent!

This... this was no longer something a canine could do!

This was close to understanding abstract symbols and instructions!

Lei Jun knew this was just the tip of the iceberg of Ah Fu's "Intelligent Voice Interaction" and "All-around Skill Mastery" abilities; she was just using a way humans could understand to show a bit of Ah Fu's "intelligence" that surpassed ordinary dogs.

When Ah Fu finished the last task, trotted back to Lei Jun's side, affectionately rubbed against her leg, and then sat down quietly, the entire stadium fell into a silence so profound that a pin drop could be heard for over ten seconds.

On the giant screen, Ah Fu's total score was calculated, and then... it stood at the top of the list with a staggering absolute advantage, nearly thirty points ahead of the runner-up (a German Shepherd)!

Furthermore, this score broke the highest score record in the history of this event!

"Whoosh—!!!"

After the silence came an uproar that erupted like a tsunami!

The audiences from various countries who had been frantically mocking the Dragon Country Local Dog and waiting to see a joke were now all as if they had been collectively strangled. The mocking expressions on their faces hadn't even had time to be withdrawn before they instantly froze, turning into extreme shock, bewilderment, disbelief, and... the stinging shame of being slapped in the face!

"My God... what did I see?"

"Is... is that really a dog?"

"How is that possible?! A Local Dog?!"

"Its speed... its obedience... its power control... and that tablet computer?! This is impossible!"

"Cheating! It must be cheating!"

"Right! The Dragon Country people must have used some high technology! Or gave the dog drugs!"

"There's no way a Local Dog could be this powerful! Absolutely impossible!"

Many people were unwilling to believe the facts before them, subconsciously looking for various excuses as voices of doubt began to rise.

And the ones with the most intense reactions were none other than the three contestants from Japan, South Korea, and the USA.

The Japanese contestant, Sato Ichiro, nearly had his eyes pop out of his head. He pointed at Ah Fu in the field, his finger trembling, and screamed in Japanese: "Baka yaro! This is impossible! Fake! It's all fake! How could a dog from the Shina people be better than my Taro?! The competition is rigged! The referees were bribed! I want to protest! Protest!"

He lost control of his emotions, rushed to the sideline, and yelled at the referees and the organizers' officials, even attempting to charge into the competition area before being stopped by security. He hysterically ranted about "cheating," "shady dealings," and "unfairness," his words full of insults toward Dragon Country and Ah Fu.

The faces of the organizers' officials and the referees darkened.

The entire competition had high-definition recordings, multi-angle monitoring, strict inspections, and notarization procedures. The Japanese contestant's baseless accusations were not only an insult to the fairness of the competition but also a sign of disrespect toward the organizers and all other participants.

The head referee spoke through the microphone, warning sternly: "Japanese contestant, please immediately stop your baseless accusations and behavior that disrupts the order of the arena! Otherwise, your qualification and results will be revoked!"

Sato Ichiro was already out of his mind with rage and couldn't listen at all, continuing to shout insults: "You're all in this together! Protecting the Shina people! By amaterasu omikami, you will get what's coming to you!"

"Remove him from the arena immediately! Revoke all his results and qualification!" the Person in Charge of the organizers ordered without hesitation.
