303: Today, we must gamble to the bitter end.

Atapong didn't care in the slightest. He pulled a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, took a puff, and blew a smoke ring.

"To hell with your 'struck by lightning' crap!"

"Did I beg him to kneel? He's the one being pathetic and insisting on kneeling to me. Who else can you blame?"

"I'm telling you, for this round today, either Su Cha bets three million against me, or he kneels and apologizes just like his father. Otherwise, this isn't over!"

The people in the courtyard grew even more furious upon hearing Atapong's words.

"No, where's the sense in that! This is just too much!"

"Is there no sentiment left at all? They're cousins, they're family. Is it really necessary to go this far?"

"Atapong, that bastard, is simply beyond saving! I really hope he gets his karma right now!"

Hearing these discussions, Atapong completely snapped.

He slammed his cigarette onto the ground, ground it under his foot, and roared at the people in the courtyard, "You people really talk big when it's not your problem! How dare you say such sarcastic things!"

"Sentiment?"

Atapong sneered, his eyes filled with contempt.

"Sentiment is worth jack shit! In the face of money, sentiment is worthless!"

He extended a finger, pointed at the stakes on the table, and said loudly.

"If I win this hand, I'll have millions coming in! You tell me, how much is sentiment worth then?"

"Millions? Just for a few million, he can humiliate his own Eldest Uncle like this. What a cold-blooded, heartless guy!" a woman said angrily.

Some people who were related to both the Su Family and Songphong's family couldn't stand it anymore. They walked over to Songphong and urged him, "Second Uncle, you should really do something about Atapong! He's going way too far!"

"Exactly, Second Uncle. How can he be so unreasonable? If this continues, it will only make things more tense, and then everyone will be embarrassed!"

Songphong sat on the ground with a look of utter helplessness on his face.

He spread his hands and sighed, saying, "I want to do something, but I can't control him!"

"A son grows up and stops listening to his father! This kid has strong wings now; I simply can't handle him!"

Songphong's tone was filled with helplessness.

"You all know that once he's had some wine, he starts talking nonsense and won't listen to anyone."

Songphong turned to glance at Atapong and then said to the crowd, "Don't take Atapong's words to heart, everyone. It's all just drunk talk! Once he sobers up, he'll know he was wrong."

Wenchalong, kneeling on the ground, looked at Songphong and couldn't help but plead, "Second Brother, can we just forget about this bet? Please help me talk to Atapong and tell him to stop making a scene, okay?"

Songphong hesitated, a troubled expression appearing on his face.

He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could speak, his daughter-in-law, Nala, stepped forward and retorted, "No way!"

Nala crossed her arms, her eyes full of disdain. "Even biological brothers settle accounts clearly! Let alone just an Older Male Cousin! The bet has already started; there's no reason to stop just like that!"

Nala had long disliked Su Cha's family, especially Su Cha, who actually dared to oppose her husband.

Seeing Su Cha's family being humiliated by her husband now, she couldn't have been happier.

She wanted the Su Family to know that this was the consequence of crossing them.

Moreover, she was looking forward to Atapong winning this round so their family could make a fortune. Then she could buy even more designer bags and clothes!

Atapong sneered and followed up on Nala's words, "That's right! Once you're at the gambling table, you have to be prepared to lose! Since you dared to sit down and bet, you should have the resolve to handle the loss!"

"And don't bother trying to persuade my dad; no one's word counts right now! Today's game must be played to the end!"

Atapong's tone was very firm, leaving no room for negotiation.

Songphong pretended to be helpless and spread his hands to the crowd, saying, "You all see this, right? It's not that I'm not trying to talk to him, it's just that his wings are too strong. I'm old and can't control him. I really can't!"

Lei Jun felt even more contempt as she watched Songphong's hypocritical act.

Hearing Atapong and Nala's words and seeing Songphong's helpless act, the last glimmer of hope in Wenchalong's heart was extinguished.

Kneeling on the ground, his body began to tremble violently. His face grew paler and paler, and his breathing became increasingly rapid.

He felt as if a large boulder was pressing down on his chest, making it painfully difficult to breathe.

He opened his mouth to say something, but before a single word could come out, his vision went black, his body went limp, and he fainted once again.

"Dad!" The three siblings—Su Cha, Su Qing, and Su Ya—shouted at the same time and rushed over to support Wenchalong.

Su Cha picked up his father and shouted anxiously, "Dad, wake up! Dad, don't scare me!"

Su Qing quickly took out her phone to dial 120. "I'm calling the ambulance to take Dad to the hospital!"

But at that moment, Atapong smiled disdainfully and said, "Stop your damn acting! Trying to get away with it by fainting won't work!"

"If you want to play, bring out the money! If you don't have money, then just get the hell out of here! Don't waste my time!"

Atapong's tone was full of impatience.

Nala chimed in as well, "Exactly, Atapong, don't waste your breath on them! If he doesn't speak up, then it proves all these things belong to us!"

As Nala spoke, she stepped forward to collect the stakes on the table.

She was already certain that Su Cha couldn't produce three million, so they were bound to win this round.

"Wait!" Just as Nala's hand was about to touch the stakes, Su Cha suddenly looked up and roared at her.

Su Cha left his father to Su Qing and Su Ya's care and stood up, looking at Atapong and Nala with determined eyes. "The game isn't over yet! Besides, who said I don't have any money!"

Hearing Su Cha's words, Nala couldn't help but laugh. She looked Su Cha up and down and mocked, "Are you fucking kidding me? You've already taken out loans; your car, house, and even the relocation compensation have all been mortgaged. Where the hell would you get more money!"

"What else can you do besides admit defeat!" Nala's tone was full of disdain. "I suggest you just give up now to save yourself from further humiliation!"

Su Cha took a deep breath, suppressed his anger, and said loudly, "I might not be able to produce three million, but that doesn't mean others can't!"

Atapong laughed at Su Cha's words. He walked over and patted Su Cha on the shoulder, mocking him, "Well, well, what do you mean? Don't tell me you can actually find someone to lend you money?"

Atapong glanced around the courtyard and sneered, "With your family's reputation and the state you're in right now, do you really think anyone would be willing to lend you money? Stop dreaming!"
