298: Congratulations, you got it right!
After hearing Su Cha's words, Atapong wasn't angry. Instead, he sneered, his laughter full of disdain.
He straightened up, placed his hands on his hips, and looked down at Su Cha from a superior position.
"Su Cha, fine!"
"You want me to call?"
"Well, I'm fucking not calling!"
As he spoke, he glanced at the factory documents lying on the nearby table, his gaze turning resolute.
"If it's about who has more money, I've got you beat for sure!"
No sooner had the words left his mouth than he abruptly raised his hand and slammed it heavily onto the stack of factory documents. A loud *SMACK* echoed, making the table tremble.
He roared at Su Cha, "One point five million! I'm not calling!"
Hearing Atapong's words, Su Cha's expression didn't change in the slightest. Instead, he fell into deep thought.
He wasn't angry; he was quickly calculating in his mind.
He knew Atapong's move was a clever one.
It was an indisputable fact that the other party's financial foundation was thicker than his own.
If he forced a raise now and Atapong still refused to call, continuing to raise the bet instead, he simply didn't have enough money to keep up.
By then, even if his hand was excellent, he'd have no choice but to fold and admit defeat.
Su Cha thought silently to himself, *This Atapong guy usually seems so rough and careless. Who knew he could be so shrewd at a crucial moment?*
*He's taking advantage of my lack of funds, trying to force me into a corner.*
The problem now wasn't whether his hand was good, but whether he could last until the cards were revealed.
Atapong was clearly trying to crush him with his financial advantage. Continuing like this, he would inevitably be worn down.
He couldn't drag this out any longer; he had to end this round as soon as possible.
Su Cha steeled his heart. This final move had to force Ms. Lei Jun to call.
He had already explained the situation to Lei Jun earlier, and she had agreed to help.
Now, he could only trust in Ms. Lei Jun's card-playing skills.
He knew this was a huge gamble, not just betting his own livelihood, but also betting on Lei Jun's ability.
But at this point, there was no other way out.
Nala stood beside Atapong. Seeing Su Cha remain silent for so long, she said with a sarcastic tone, "What's the matter?"
"Weren't you so arrogant, Su Cha? Say something!"
"Are you fucking mute?"
Lei Jun glanced at Nala, her contempt for this woman growing even stronger.
She could tell Nala was just someone who bullied others by relying on someone else's power, thinking she was superior just because Atapong had a bit of money.
This kind of woman had too small a mindset and was too foolish.
Hearing Nala's taunts, Su Cha suddenly looked up, his gaze firm.
He took a deep breath and then said loudly, "Fine!"
"Then let's settle it in one hand!"
"Give me ten minutes. I'll gather one point five million and call you!"
Everyone in the courtyard was stunned upon hearing Su Cha's words.
No one expected Su Cha would actually dare to match the bet, let alone claim he could gather one point five million in ten minutes.
Atapong looked coldly at Su Cha, his eyes full of disdain.
He didn't wait for Su Cha to finish speaking before cutting him off directly, "Wait!"
"Who told you one point five million is enough to call??"
Su Cha frowned, looking at Atapong with confusion, "Didn't you say your own factory is worth one point five million?"
Atapong suddenly shouted loudly, "The factory is worth one point five million, that's right! But I never said I'm only betting that one point five million!!!"
As soon as these words were spoken, the courtyard instantly fell silent. Everyone was shocked.
A few seconds later, someone finally snapped out of it, and the courtyard erupted into chaos once more.
"No way? Atapong is raising the bet again?? Th-this is too thrilling! This round of gambling is even more exciting than a TV drama!"
"Amazing! I never thought a game of golden flower could get this big, this is really interesting. I've lived this long and it's the first time I've seen a bet this huge."
"Good, good, good! Keep fucking raising it. I want to see which family ends up ruined. Doesn't matter to me anyway, the bigger the spectacle, the better."
"Atapong is too arrogant. I think Su Cha can definitely beat him! Su Cha, hang in there!"
"That's not necessarily true. In golden flower, sometimes it's not about the hand, it's about who has more money. Money gives you confidence! If Su Cha doesn't have the money to match, his hand could be perfect and it still wouldn't matter!"
Lei Jun had long anticipated that Atapong might raise the bet. After all, given his personality, he wouldn't admit defeat easily.
She looked at Su Cha, wanting to see his reaction.
She noticed that although Su Cha's face looked somewhat grim, his gaze remained firm. He wasn't frightened by Atapong's move.
*This Su Cha of mine has pretty good mental fortitude.*
*If it were an ordinary person, being pressured like this would have made them panic long ago.*
Su Cha looked at Atapong in disbelief.
"What do you mean?"
"Not only are you not calling, but you're also raising the bet?"
Atapong shoved his hands in his pockets and burst into loud, arrogant, and grating laughter upon hearing this, "HAHAHAHAHA!"
"Congratulations!"
He extended a finger and pointed at Su Cha.
"You got it right!"
"I'm raising another one point five million!"
Saying this, he took a step forward and roared excitedly at Su Cha, "That's a total of two times one point five million! If you want to match, you'll have to put up three million!!!"
Three million!
These three words exploded in the courtyard like a heavy bomb.
Everyone was terrified by this number. The courtyard fell into a deathly silence once again, broken only by Atapong's heavy breathing.
It took a good while before anyone recovered. Discussions broke out again, even more intense than before.
"No way? Three million? This is pushing Su Cha to the brink of death! Where would Su Cha get that much money!"
"That's really too ruthless! Atapong isn't leaving Su Cha any way out at all. If he loses, both families will be ruined."
"Has Atapong gone completely crazy? Three million, even if he wins, what then? Is it worth pushing himself this far just to win a single round of gambling?"
"I think Atapong is just banking on Su Cha not being able to come up with three million, that's why he's deliberately raising the bet like this. He wants Su Cha to back down from the difficulty and then humiliate him thoroughly in front of everyone."
Lei Jun hadn't expected Atapong to be so vicious. To win the round, he was actually willing to raise the stakes to three million.
Su Cha sneered disdainfully, looking at Atapong as if he were a madman, "Atapong?"
"Are you here for comedy? You think you can just raise the bet if you say so?"
"Where's the money???"
Atapong scoffed contemptuously, his eyes full of scorn, "It's just money, wait for it!"
"I'll get it for you right now!"
As he spoke, Atapong pulled out his phone, waved it in his hand, and looked at Su Cha with disdain.
"You idiot, you don't think you're the only one who can get an online loan, do you??"
"You loser!"
Saying this, Atapong pointed at Su Cha's head and shouted excitedly.
"Even if I get an online loan, my limit is ten times higher than yours, you idiot!"
No one had expected that both of these men had started borrowing online loans to gamble.
