25: So that's what "beauty is pleasing to the eye" means.

The next morning, Lei Jun was awakened by the warmth of the sunlight spilling onto her face through a gap in the curtains.

She stretched, got up leisurely, and after washing up, looked at her still-exquisite self in the mirror, only then remembering the manicure mission the system had refreshed yesterday.

"Glazed Dreamland..."

Lei Jun softly murmured the name and casually picked up her phone to search for it.

The page showed that this high-end nail salon was located in a bustling business district in the city center; not only was the decor luxurious, but the technician team was composed entirely of individuals with international certifications.

It specialized in private customized services, where a basic manicure cost over a thousand yuan, let alone high-end projects like gemstone inlays or hand-painted art.

Lei Jun raised an eyebrow; it looked good.

She chose a simple yet stylish silk set, paired it with a pair of minimalist flat sandals, picked up her Hermès bag, and set off for "Glazed Dreamland" on her harley.

Lei Jun was enjoying the refreshing feeling of the wind brushing past her ears when her stomach let out an untimely "gurgle"... She only then belatedly realized that in her rush to get ready and leave this morning, she hadn't even had a bite of breakfast.

Just then, an inviting aroma of food drifted over with the wind, greatly whetting her appetite.

She looked in the direction of the scent and saw an inconspicuous breakfast stall surrounded by quite a few people; a middle-aged couple was busy frying something, and the sign read "Old Li's Specialty Shengjian."

Lei Jun subconsciously swallowed her saliva, decisively pulled the motorcycle over to park, and walked toward the small stall emitting billowing steam.

As she approached the stall, the originally somewhat noisy environment was instantly muted.

Old Li and his wife, who were busy making pan-fried buns, froze, spatulas in hand, staring blankly at this sudden guest.

The customers drinking soy milk and eating breakfast at a few simple small tables also stopped their movements in unison, their gazes focusing squarely on Lei Jun.

"Oh my goodness... this girl is way too pretty!"

"Is... is this a celebrity out to experience life?"

"Look at the clothes she's wearing, and that bag... they look frighteningly expensive. Why would she come to eat at our little stall?"

Ignoring the various looks from around her, Lei Jun walked straight up to the stall.

"Boss, a serving of Shengjian and a cup of soy milk, please."

This voice, like heavenly music, entered everyone's ears, causing another moment of daze for the crowd.

"The voice is so beautiful too... just like a host on the radio!"

"She's beautiful and her voice is perfect, how are we supposed to live..."

"This breakfast was worth it today, being able to see such a fairy..."

After paying, Lei Jun prepared to find a seat but found that the few tables were all full.

Her gaze swept across and saw a table with two young girls that had empty seats, so she walked over and asked softly: "Excuse me, is anyone sitting here?"

"May I share the table?"

The two girls clearly hadn't expected this "fairy" to take the initiative to speak to them; they were instantly flattered and nodded repeatedly: "No one, no one, please sit!"

After Lei Jun sat down, the two girls couldn't help but praise her: "Miss, you're really beautiful, and these clothes suit you so well!"

Lei Jun smiled slightly and chatted with them for a few moments, learning that they were students from the nearby Longcheng Vocational and Technical College and often came to this stall for breakfast.

Soon, the lady boss personally delivered the Shengjian and soy milk Lei Jun had ordered.

Lei Jun took small bites of the Shengjian.

The taste was very good.

She narrowed her eyes, feeling very satisfied.

The men at the stall watched her, entranced, even forgetting to eat the breakfast in front of them.

"So this is what 'a feast for the eyes' means..."

A young lad murmured to himself, his chopsticks suspended in mid-air, motionless for a long time.

This, however, annoyed the female companions at the same or neighboring tables.

They first gave their boyfriends' or husbands' arms a hard pinch; seeing that the other party still didn't restrain themselves, they were instantly fuming, grabbed their bags, and got up to leave.

Most of the men then snapped out of it, hurriedly getting up to chase after them: "Hey, honey, wait for me, let me explain!"

But there were still some 'warriors' who were too engrossed; it wasn't until Lei Jun finished her breakfast, elegantly wiped her mouth, and got up to leave on her harley that they suddenly snapped back to reality.

They looked around and found their female companions long gone, only then realizing the severity of the problem and instantly panicking.

"It's over, it's over, I think my girlfriend just left in a huff!"

"My wife is gone too, I'm dead meat now!"

"How was I so possessed just now!"

"Beauty is a distraction, I'm afraid I'll have to kneel on a washboard tonight!"

Several people looked at each other, starting to feel regret and panic, no longer in the mood to enjoy the breakfast before them; they all pulled out their phones and began frantically dialing numbers that certainly wouldn't be answered at this moment... A few minutes later, Lei Jun's harley motorcycle stopped downstairs at the mall where the "Glazed Dreamland" nail salon was located.

Lei Jun took off her helmet, her silver-white long hair cascading down like moonlight; her casual movement of brushing her hair caused passing pedestrians to look her way.

She looked up at this nail salon tucked away in a corner of the business district.

Inside the floor-to-ceiling glass windows were fine crystal lamps; warm golden light spilled out through the sheer curtains, and even the door handle was carved with floral patterns, as exquisite as a small palace.

As she pushed the door open, the wind chimes tinkled, and the air carried a faint scent of gardenia incense.

To her surprise, on a weekday morning in this high-end salon, there were actually quite a few customers.

In the waiting area, the soft sofas were almost full. The receptionist asked her to wait a moment with an apologetic smile.

Lei Jun nodded and found an empty seat by the window.

Sitting next to her were two women of completely different styles, who caught her attention.

One had short, neat hair, a healthy wheat-colored complexion, and a straight sitting posture; even in a simple white T-shirt and army-green cargo pants, her well-proportioned, firm figure and heroic aura were hard to hide.

Her eyes were clear and firm, and her face was without makeup, yet she possessed a heroic spirit different from ordinary women.

The woman sitting next to her, however, was of a completely different style.

Her wine-red big waves were permed fluffily, with a rhinestone hairpin clipped to the ends of her hair.

She held the latest model of phone, talking incessantly to the screen.

Her voice was very loud, as if she were afraid the people in the shop wouldn't hear her.

"Oh, Sister Wang, guess how much the diamond manicure I got at that shop last week cost?"

"Eight thousand eight hundred!"

"They weren't ordinary rhinestones; they were inlaid with South African diamond chips."

"What, you want to get them done too?"

"You have to book half a month in advance; they only serve VIP clients."

As she spoke, she also deliberately turned her body to make the pearl chain on her dress collar more prominent, while her peripheral vision swept toward the short-haired woman from time to time, filled with a sense of superiority.
