359: Subtle resonance

Su Han and Bi Yao seized the moment when the monster's attack missed and its body was unstable, quickly scattering to the sides.

It attempted to create distance from it, searching for a better strategy.

After being stabbed in the chest by Su Han, although severely wounded, the monster became even more frenzied, its muscles under the black scales taut.

Its six arms swung with powerful force, each swing generating a strong gust of wind that stirred up the surrounding dust.

The Silver Bell in Bi Yao's hand continued to shake, its clear ringing echoing in the chaotic space.

However, this time the monster seemed to be gradually adapting to the Silver Bell's influence, and the effect of slowing its actions was no longer as apparent.

It roared, its blood-red eyes fixed on Su Han, clearly viewing him as the biggest threat.

Suddenly, two of the monster's arms exerted force simultaneously, throwing the two massive weapons in its hands towards Su Han.

The weapons were like black lightning, cutting through the air and emitting a sharp whistling sound.

Su Han's eyes narrowed, and he quickly dodged sideways. One of the weapons flew past his shoulder, tearing his clothes and leaving a shallow bloodstain.

He didn't have time to check his wound and immediately swung his sword to slash at the other incoming weapon.

His sword collided with the weapon, sparks flying. Su Han felt a huge force coming from his arm, making it numb.

But he did not retreat. Taking advantage of the interval before the monster's next attack, he charged towards the monster's legs.

He knew that the monster's body was huge, and its legs were a relatively weak point. If he could attack successfully, he might be able to restrict its movement.

Meanwhile, Bi Yao was not idle either.

While shaking the Silver Bell, she was muttering incantations.

She was trying to find inspiration from the ancient power within the relics, to see if she could find a way to subdue the monster.

Suddenly, she discovered that the golden runes flickering around the crystal ball seemed to have a subtle resonance with the sound of the Silver Bell.

As the rhythm of her Silver Bell changed, the flickering frequency of the runes also changed.

A thought struck Bi Yao, and she began to rhythmically speed up the shaking of the Silver Bell. The light of the golden runes also became more dazzling.

The monster also seemed to sense that the changes in the crystal ball and runes were unfavorable to it. It let out a deafening roar, and its remaining four arms swung wildly towards Bi Yao.

A flicker of panic flashed in Bi Yao's eyes, but she did not retreat.

She flexibly weaved through the gaps in the monster's attacks, using the scattered rocks and stone pillars around her as cover.

Every time the monster's arms swept past, the rocks and stone pillars were shattered, sending stone fragments flying.

Su Han had already rushed towards the monster's legs.

He seized the opportunity and swung his sword with force, hacking at one of the monster's legs.

His sword cut into the monster's hard scales, leaving only a shallow mark, but it successfully enraged the monster.

The monster suddenly lifted its leg and stomped down towards Su Han.

Su Han reacted quickly, dodging the fatal stomp with a roll.

However, the ground instantly collapsed under the monster's stomp, forming a huge pit.

Su Han was trapped in the pit, and the monster looked down at him from above, its eyes filled with killing intent, and raised its arm again, preparing to deliver a fatal blow to Su Han.

Just at this critical moment, Bi Yao discovered a deeper connection between the crystal ball and the runes.

She concentrated, perfectly matching the sound of the Silver Bell with the flickering rhythm of the runes.

In an instant, a golden light shot out from the crystal ball, directly hitting the monster.

The monster's body suddenly shook, and the arm that was about to attack Su Han stopped in mid-air.

Its body began to tremble violently, and light seemed to be surging under its scales. Su Han seized this opportunity and leaped out of the pit.

He tightly gripped his sword with both hands and, using this brief window of opportunity, once again charged towards the area of differently colored scales on the monster's chest. (End of this chapter)
