498: Nirvana
“Buzz—!”
The originally flickering Chaos force field suddenly stabilized at this moment!
And with an incomparably violent posture, it suddenly expanded outwards by a full meter!
The rotting zombie that had lunged forward didn't even have time to scream before it instantly experienced extreme aging, melting, and annihilation at the expanding edge of the force field, completely turning into nothingness, leaving not even a wisp of smoke.
Su Han slowly stood up.
His movements still seemed a bit stiff, and his face was still pale, but he stood ramrod straight.
The Chaos force field surrounding him was like his most loyal guard, becoming completely at his command, expanding and contracting freely with his awakening.
He glanced at the tragic battlefield around him, his gaze briefly lingering on the remaining Skeleton Warriors and the almost transparent vengeful spirits, finally settling on the Undead Mage's face, which was filled with shock and wild joy, and he nodded slightly.
Immediately, his sight locked onto the massive Abomination, which was frantically throwing cannon fodder.
“Noisy.”
A cold, slightly hoarse voice, yet imbued with supreme majesty, rang out, clearly overriding the roars of the undead.
The Abomination felt a huge threat; it stopped throwing, dozens of heads simultaneously let out threatening roars, and the Soul fire at its core flickered wildly.
Su Han slowly raised his right hand.
The Chaos force field around him fluctuated accordingly, and the three destructive forces converged like docile streams into the palm of his raised hand.
Gray-white, crimson-gold, and golden-red lights rapidly rotated, compressed, and underwent Fusion, finally forming a fist-sized Chaos energy orb that constantly experienced annihilation and creation internally, yet appeared exceptionally stable externally.
The space around the energy orb subtly twisted, emitting an aura that made the Souls of all undead tremble.
“Go.”
Su Han flicked his finger.
The Chaos energy orb shot out silently, its speed surpassing vision!
The Abomination felt a fatal crisis; it roared, grabbing all its remaining arms and even some low-level undead in front of itself, attempting to construct a defense!
However, all of it was futile.
The Chaos energy orb easily annihilated everything in its path, whether it was bone, decaying flesh, or undead energy, directly striking the core of the Abomination's massive body—the several clusters of evil Soul fire intertwined together!
There was no explosion, no loud bang.
Only an instant of extreme “silence.”
The next moment, a gray-white halo rapidly spread out from the point of impact.
The parts of the Abomination's body swept by the halo instantly lost all vitality and energy, aging, weathering, and turning into ashes that crumbled at a touch, all at a visible rate.
Immediately after, a crimson-gold, lava-like light erupted from within, directly vaporizing and burning the weathered parts!
Finally, a golden-red flame flashed and disappeared, as if completely purifying and erasing all the last remaining traces!
The massive Abomination, a standout among the undead army, couldn't even let out a final wail before it experienced three extreme forms of destruction within a mere one or two seconds, completely vanishing from this world, leaving no evidence of its existence.
Only the faint smell of charring and the aura of annihilation lingering in the air proved that it had once existed.
Silence!
Dead silence!
All undead, whether low-level skeletons and zombies or the few mid-level undead with weak intelligence, their movements froze.
The most primal fear from the depths of their Souls completely overwhelmed their instinct to devour the living.
The raging Skeletal Mammoth even stood up on its hind legs in terror, letting out a fearful whinny, its massive bone hooves stomping the ground, yet not daring to advance a single step.
Su Han's terrifying might, instantly killing the Abomination with one move, completely awed the entire undead legion!
The Undead Mage trembled with excitement, almost prostrating himself.
This was the master he served! This was the true power of Chaos!
Su Han, however, did not pause.
He knew that his power had only just begun to be controlled, far from recovering to its Peak, and the burden on his body was still extremely heavy. He had to act quickly; after the deterrence, it was time to clear the field!
He raised both hands simultaneously, and the Chaos force field around him boiled again.
This time, he did not condense high-density energy orbs but dispersed his power.
His left hand pointed to the densest group of undead on the left, and a gray-white power of death surged out like a tide, forming a vast fan-shaped area.
Within the area, the movements of all low-level undead instantly became incredibly sluggish, as if they had fallen into a quagmire; their bones rapidly became brittle and gray, and their Soul fires dimmed at an alarming rate.
Some undead even disintegrated on their own as they ran, weathering into bone dust.
His right hand pointed to the right, and a crimson-gold torrent of lava intertwined with golden-red Nirvana flames erupted, as if creating a surging river of fire on the ground.
The undead caught in it, whether physical or ethereal, were instantly ignited, melted, and purified in their mournful screams, burned until not even dregs remained.
He, himself, took a step, actively walking towards the terrifying, constantly retreating Skeletal Mammoth directly in front of him.
With each step, the ground beneath his feet was eroded by the Chaos force field, leaving a footprint imbued with three destructive auras.
The Skeletal Mammoth let out a desperate and furious roar; its massive tusks burned with eerie green undead flames, and with its head lowered, it charged frantically at Su Han like an out-of-control chariot!
It was making a final stand!
Su Han's eyes were cold; he neither dodged nor retreated. The moment the mammoth was about to collide with him, the Chaos force field around him highly condensed in front of him.
“Boom!!!”
A massive impact sound rang out, and an energy shockwave spread out in a ring, directly shattering a large number of low-level undead around it!
The Skeletal Mammoth's indestructible charge was completely blocked by that thin, distorted force field!
The tips of its tusks began to shatter and annihilate the moment they contacted the force field!
Su Han withstood the impact of the behemoth, his body not moving an inch.
He raised his hand, spread his five fingers, and gently pressed them onto the Skeletal Mammoth's skull.
“Annihilation.”
He softly uttered two words.
A vast gray-white power of death instantly surged throughout the Skeletal Mammoth's entire body!
The giant beast's charge came to an abrupt halt. The violently burning Soul fire in its eye sockets quickly extinguished, as if doused with ice water.
Its massive skeletal body, centered on the pressed hand, rapidly lost its luster, becoming like rock that had endured billions of years of weathering, covered in cracks.
The next moment, a gentle breeze blew.
This powerful Skeletal Mammoth collapsed with a crash like a sand sculpture, shattering into countless gray bone dust, devoid of any energy reaction, piled up like a mountain.
Su Han stood before the pile of bone dust, slowly withdrew his hand, and surveyed his surroundings.
To the left, almost all the undead in the death zone had disintegrated on their own.
To the right, the river of fire was still burning, purifying the remaining enemies.
Directly ahead, the strongest Skeletal Mammoth had turned to dust.
The remaining scattered undead finally completely broke down.
They let out terrified screams, no longer caring about any commands or instincts, and fled backward like a tide, wishing they had two more legs, vanishing without a trace in the blink of an eye.
On the ravaged battlefield, only burning flames, piles of bone dust, and the aura of destruction lingering in the air remained.
Su Han stood alone in the center of the battlefield, the terrifying Chaos force field around him slowly retracting into his body.
His face was still pale, and his aura was somewhat unstable, but his eyes were as sharp as blades, scanning the land he had personally purified.
The Undead Mage quickly stepped forward, knelt on one knee, his voice trembling with excitement: “Welcome, Master, to your awakening!”
Su Han did not immediately reply; he slightly closed his eyes, carefully sensing the three forces within his body that had initially achieved a delicate balance but still harbored endless risks, then slowly opened his eyes and gazed at the deeper darkness in the distance.
“Rise,” he said indifferently, “Tell me, where is this place.
And… what exactly happened.” (End of chapter)
